Babies and Toddlers love them
These are a way bigger hit than I thought they would be! I was hesitant to order them because as a new parent, you see how much money you waste chasing a good item. These are amazing though. I bought them because they would help my 5-month-old be happily distracted during the loathed tummy time. I turns out, my 1-year-old loves them just as much. When they aren't actively tummy time props, they are being squished, jingled, and carried around. The ball makes a great crinkle noise that neither child can resist. They are sized well, large enough for an infant to work with safely, and small enough for them to control at the same time. And BOTH children are learning to throw a ball, and pass the ball to each other, all because of this one magical ball. Insert parental squeal here. It is really amazing and fun to watch and be part of. Each of the three toys has a different interactive feature (crinkle, jingle bell, etc), and the great high-contrast designs that Manhattan Toy is known for. I will completely be buying these as gifts for all of our expecting friends from here forward, as they clearly serve a great purpose far longer than a couple fleeting months. I adore these.

Versatile and engaging
So glad that I purchased this for our baby. She LOVES looking at high contrast images and this mat has made tummy time less frustrating and more interesting for her. The mat can be folded and held together with magnets so can be propped in front of baby to encourage head lifting. Mat can also be hung for baby to look (or kick!) at. One side is black and white and the other side it black and white with color images. There's a flap with a mirror underneath on one square, crinkly flap on another and a teether attached by ribbon in a pocket on another etc. None of which my baby has discovered yet (She's just 11 weeks) but I think this mat will be a favorite for a while yet.

Great book for infant
Great book for infant! Initially we just showed the pictures to our newborn, particularly the black and white baby face on the cover. As he got older, we began to describe the images (colors, sounds, associations) to keep it interesting and expose him to more language. Today at 5 months he loves the car and boat pages best--those get motor and horn sound effects! Vroooooooooom.

My son loves it
My baby loves the portable mobile from Manhattan toys which I clip above his changing station, so I thought I'd give this book a try along with the look look book. At 2 months I think he likes this book more than the look look book. He lovesl to look at his reflection on the last page too. The images seem to stimulate him and sometimes it seems like he's talking to them haha!

My newborn's favorite thing!
I put this on my baby registry and I'm so glad that I did. It's hard to "play" with newborns and entertain them during their awake hours, but this board does the trick. We will prop it up on the back cushion of the couch and my daughter will lay down and stare at it for a long time. It helps to calm her when she is upset, and she will often fall asleep while looking at it. We have also started using it in the car so that she has something to look at when she wakes up during longer roadtrips. It helps us to avoid those highway meltdowns. I would recommend this as the only "toy" you need on your registry.

Perfect
I don't know why in my head I thought it would be a little bigger but that's my fault I didn't read details but it is fine the way it is. It also has magnets so it can be folded 2x into a triangle shape so it can sit on the floor. My son is 2 months old & just starting to stay awake a little more and being interested & Curious to what's around him.. well I was on the search for black/white/red toys I could hang on the swing and for the mama's and papas tummy time mat but no luck.. I didn't get this to hang on the swing but it worked out :) we'll move it around and use it different places but thats where it is for now, he loves both sides.. really stairs & I push the squeaker & crinkle the crinkle parts & it catches his attention :)

Perfect for infant
My 2 month old loves this book. She was absolutely captivated by each image as we moved through the book. Then, at the end when we got to baby on the left and a mirror on the right, she got so incredibly excited and happy! This book really was made for her eyes and comprehension level, perfectly suited for an infant!

Baby has enjoyed so far from 2 to 8 months
My daughter really likes this set of toys and has been using it consistently for about 7 months. We got these early to practice tracking and let her look at the patterns, but as she got a little bit older and could start to manipulate the toys to make noise or turn it around to see the different images and textures she enjoyed playing with this on her own. I usually give her either the ball or cube when I put her in her car seat and I can hear her playing with it and entertaining herself for usually the entire ride--until she falls asleep or accidentally kicks it out of the seat. While it is a good early baby toy, it seems to "grow" with her quite a bit and she is almost 9 months old and has not yet gotten bored of playing with it. Nothing bad to say!

Perfect for travel and every day play
My son loves this and he’s only 2.5 months old. I like that I can attach it to his car seat or any of his baby gear, like the mamaroo or the sit me up seat and he will stare at it and grab at it! Definitely recommend this, we will be using this for our trips to visit family since it’s soft and compact

Very stimulating
Baby is two months old and these toys really capture her attention. They hold her gaze for long periods and she will follow them with her eyes. Each of the three makes a distinct sound, which she turns toward most of the time. She hasn't quite started grabbing/feeling yet, but the variety of textures are sure to captivate her once she hits that milestone. I love the variety of colors/patterns/textures/sounds available on these toys. I'm a little concerned with how to keep them nice/clean since the manufacturer recommends against washing. The fuzzy parts seem like they'll need more than just wiping, but I guess we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
