Exact replacement. The box had the item number 04152-YZZA5, the filter had 15613-YZZA2 stamped on it. Initially I thought I had a problem however 04152-YZZA5 is also known as 15613-YZZA2 they are one and the same! It is the correct filter. The one I pulled out of my truck had the 15613-YZZA2 marked on it. The part number on the filter is marked on one of the pleats.

Great Toyota brand filter

Installed this on my 2006 is 250, the local lube place wanted $25 for a filter for my car, and a total of $100 to replace my oil, I bought the synthetic Mobile 1 oil at Walmart for $26 (5 qrts) and this filter, the tool cost me under $10 so I guess I will be doing my own oil changes.

I have no idea why Toyota didn't just use a standard filter. Luckily for Amazon we can get the original genuine stuff at a fair price and do it ourselves.

Verify part numbers for your specific Toyota. Amazon is not always correct in fitment.

I have used this many times to change the oil in my wife's 2013 4Runner. It performs as it should in that vehicle. I recently purchased a 2005 Avalon and even though Amazon says it fits, it's about an inch longer than the Avalon filter. I can't give the filter a bad review because of that, and I should have verified part numbers before I ordered. Now my car is on ramps in the garage and I have to go to a local store to get a filter.
