Ease of Use Got Me Painting Everyday
I picked up Watercolor a few months ago and wanted the ease of no clean up, no mess that I associate with painting. These got me painting everyday and I've really improved as a result. Definitely amazing for a beginner. You need to add drops of water for the colors to blend like traditional Watercolor paint. That wasn't clear on the packaging and I didn't figure that out for a few months lol!

New Fan of Tombow!
I have purchased so many different markers lately. My granddaughter and I love to color. I have the Staedtler Johanna Basford Triplus Fineliner Pens for Adult Coloring Books and Prismacolor Premier Colored Pencils, Soft Core. Sharpies big and small and ultra fine point. BIC Marking Permanent Marker Fashion Colors, Ultra Fine Point, Assorted Colors. Write Dudes Ultra Fine-Point Infinity pens, 8 Count, which are really really good for pens but not nearly enough colors. All that aside these Tombow are to die for!!! I could not be more exited with the quality and the fluid flow onto paper. I have found that paper in coloring books are as big a key as the marker. I have severe arthritis in my hands and found that pencils need to be pressed harder to color the area without leaving the white paper showing. Too hard on my hands and I love Staedtler pencils but Prismacolor is a deeper cover quality. Copic markers are the very top of the line and I love them but can't afford them since I am NOT a real artist that is producing my own work. I'm simply coloring for fun but its no fun when some markers bleed so heavy or some pull the paper up. Sharpies are great especially the ultra fine point but not enough colors. Bic bleeds outward so it will bleed over the line if not careful. To me Staedtler and Johanna's stuff is way over rated and now so commercialized that the quality seems to have gone down and my recent purchase of Staedtler Duo color Markers was disappointing.. Stabilo Point 68 is a really good brand for those tiny hard to get areas and the colors are wonderful. Faber-Castel is affordable and mostly pretty good with the pitt artist brush, slightly expensive but a lot less than copic. They have a kids quality marker that is good as for my granddaughter. But all in all after trying these awesome Tombow I ordered more sets in different colors and can not wait for them to arrive. They are the best

better than expected
i waited a long time to buy these because i would just get the le plume ones at HL or michaels with a half off coupon. but i finally got these and they are so great, way better than other brush pens which start to fray almost instantly. i love how you can make a thin line and a thick line with the same tip. other brush pens wear down fast and then all you can make are thick or medium lines.

I love these so much
Oh my, I love these so much! I like to put a little in a dish and add a few drops of water then dip my brush, using it to create watercolor art from the pens. I use this method along with my watercolor pencils, sharpies and a white gel pen for a mixed media type of art. I wish I had every color!!

Great for quick colors
I sketch and doodle a lot and it's sometimes a hassle to carry around a box of colored pencils/watercolors to just lay down some simple color. I've been wanting nice markers but was definitely not ready to invest in copics... I picked these up (and the portrait ones) cause they were on sale and wow they're really great! I love how quick and easy it is to lay down some value in my sketches to get them more polished looking. Really convenient to throw in a bag for cafe sketching and such. They blend pretty well and get darker with more layers. You can blend them out with some water too, if needed! (so it's not waterproof) And you can scribble some colors on plastic and pick them up with another marker for a more seamless blend! I really recommend them if you sketch/doodle a lot on the go! You can create some quality art with these! I'll probably pick up some more colors eventually

My 6 and 2 year old daughters love using these markers on a daily
My 6 and 2 year old daughters love using these markers on a daily. Although my two year old can get pretty rough with the brush, they are still holding up strong and pointy after almost a month! The colors are beautiful. I take a while to research what I buy, I read a ton of Amazon reviews before I buy anything so I am glad I chose these. It takes a great deal to get me to write a review so hopefully this helps.

Love Tombow markers
Great product. I use Tombow markers for coloring. I love the colors and the fact that they are waterbased.

Pros & Cons, but still 5 Stars for me
Love these paint marker pens except... A couple were dried out! All the rest were perfect and easy to use. I use them on adult coloring books, and free-hand art. As for the stand, 3 comments: (1) Yes, it keeps the pens organized, however I found it hard to get the pens to line up in the slots when placing them back in the stand. Each pen goes through a top slot, and then must align with the corresponding bottom slot or else your next pens won't go in if you cross slots at the bottom. Make sense!? (2) I found a better use for the stand. Instead of storing all 96 pens in each slot, I bought a wooden three drawer pencil/pen storage case on Amazon which I love for my pens; I think they are abour $23.00 and VERY NICE. (I also bought another of the wooded storage drawers for my colored pencils.) And now I have my Tombow stand sitting on my art area, empty. As I color with either pens or pencils, I slip the few colors I'm working with at the time, into the stand slots. Once I'm done coloring, I replace all pens & pencils into the wooden storage drawers. With using only a dozen or so pens &/or pencils, it no longer matters if I align them into the slots perfectly. I like this use, as the pens & pencils no longer roll around on my desk as I switch colors when I set them down. (3). The stand'/ legs really must be hot glued together. Otherwise it will come apart. No problem if you have a hot glue gun.

Beautiful colors!
I LOVE THIS PACK. The red color is a repeat from the “bright palette” set, which is a bit disappointing because all of the blues/purples are distinctly different shades. If I had to narrow down my Tombow markers to just one set, it would be these. I love em. All Tombow pens are easy to blend, very pigmented, and the tips retain their shape. They are very “wet” and perfect for noobs like me.

Worth the price!
I've picked up the hobby of coloring in adult coloring books and Tombow markers were one of the first coloring products I purchased. I love the dual tips--one for fine drawing; the other for coloring/brushing in larger areas. I love the way these markers perform that I might purchase a bigger set! I currently own 3 sets of Tomboy markers--the bright colors, secondary colors, and the primary colors. I love them all! The attached photo is one of many pages that I have completed, using the Tombow brush markers. I'm still learning how to shade so go easy on me on the comments!
