Great Aroma skillet
At first the heat was too great. Experience shows to set on 225, then bring up to 275 after the light goes out (the best temp.). After several months of use It's like cooking on a bumper- lots of chrome. It cleans quick if you put water in it while it is still hot. It heats more in a ring and not real even across the whole surface. You just learn to move food from the edge in about an inch. At first the pan seemed too shallow, but it is perfect for two people cooking amounts. A word to those with thermostat over heating, send the control back- it seems to be bad. Mine works really good.

Diner style burgers
I use this to cook diner style burgers. It works like a dream. The trick is to smash the ground beef with a good rigid spatula when you first put in on the skillet. There are online tutorials about the technique. Since this is portable, I can take it out on the patio so that my house doesn't have cooking smells.

I BOUGHT 2. GREAT AS A CHAFFING DISH!!!!!! AND VERY ECONOMICAL!!!!!
BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! DON'T USE METAL UTENSILS if you want to keep it pretty and shiny. DON'T leave it with stuff in it over night. Washes easily! LOVE IT! My stove is broken and I use it for everything. I bought 2

Great Skillet!!!
I really enjoy using the Gourmet Series Stainless Steel Electric Skillet. It is so attractive I was able to place it on the Christmas buffet and serve form it. It holds a large amount of food, temperatures regulate quickly and accurately and the clean up was easy. The best thing about this skillet is that it is not lined with Teflon which always scratches and peels off into the food being cooked. I would recommend this skillet. I am ready to buy the larger one!!!!

Love this one!
I've looked and looked for an electric frying pan without non-stick coating. They're few and far between and I was so happy to find this one. It works well, doesn't seem to have any hot spots (although the outer edge is a little less hot than the inner as in any fry pan on the stove,) and is easy to clean.

Just excellent :)
Ok, i have had this nearly a month now, and i could not be more pleased. I have used the Aroma Electric Skillet to stir fry, braise, slow cook, and bake (yes you can bake in an electric skillet :) ). It has been simply terrific for all these things. I have made pork chops, chicken, biscuts, quiche, hamburgers, and several other things and it did all of them wonderfully. Heats evenly, good heavy gauge stainless, heavy glass vented lid, and accurate temp dial. You can tell it's extremely durable, which means it's an excellent price :) I would definitely recommend this to a friend and i would definitely buy it again. UPDATE May 30 2018- I have had this a year now and it still works perfectly, have had no problems at all. Excellent quality and price!

Best electric frying pan I have ever used!
Nice size, Even heat ! No need to use high setting as it heats up fast and even. Made the best fried chicken in this. You can cook a large amount of chicken this I cooked 7 medium sized chicken breast. plenty of room. Easy to clean. I sprinkle Arm and Hammer baking soda on the pan spray some vinegar on it...watch it foam. Let sit for a few seconds... use a soft dish brush to get off stuck on foods add a drop of dish soap. Rinse with hot water and it will sparkle. If you have any "white" stains ... spray some lemon juice on that spot... rub with dish cloth and rinse with hot water. Should take it right out. No need for harsh chemicals.

cleans easily, safe and efficient
Lightweight, cleans easily, safe and efficient. I use this when I rent out my home and I'm staying in an efficiency suite in an addition. I can do anything with this pan. One pan dinners are great! Why have a big kitchen?

After one use, am happy
Wanted an electric skillet without non-stick coating after my 46 year old Sunbeam electric skillet decided it was time to quit. Not very many options out there for a stainless steel skillet without non-stick coating. Skillet arrived today and used it for dinner tonight. Only one issue - the plug in probe device does not fit tightly and easily slips out so that the skillet doesn't heat up. After I figured that out, it was very easy to use. Clean up was effortless which I was concerned about since the old skillet was submersible/dishwasher safe. Will update review if needed after I have used it more but so far, so good.

Very nice product!
The first electric skillet I received got scratched almost immediately. I noticed that the mirror finish was coming off in many spots. However I contacted the company, I returned it and they sent me another one which has been really great! The finish is beautiful and I can use it for many dishes. It also looks beautiful on the table, as a serving dish. I prefer it over any teflon coated electric skillet, but of course if you want to keep the nice finish on it, you have to use wooden or plastic utensils only, just as if it was Teflon. The difference is that it looks much nicer and I hope it will last much longer!
