My gf recommended soothies to me after I had mentioned how my LO would often gag on her pacifier. We had tried at least 5 different brands and it was always luck of the draw if she would be able to suck peacefully on them or gag. No such problem with the soothie and she took to it immediately. It’s the only thing that helps get her through her gas pains - I’ve bought 4 to keep on hand as needed. Only thing I wish these came with was a button end for baby to grasp/hold onto. The little curved shelf doesn’t really seem to serve a function and it’s not as easy to get straps that’ll work with this paci.

We left the hospital with these pacifiers and our twin boys love them. We tried to hold off on using them due to all the controversy on whether you should depend on them too early, but we value sleep too much. We ended up buying a few packs of these to store in various spots (cars, diaper bags, etc.). We tried other pacifiers but these are preferred by our babies. We are 6 weeks in with no complaints. I can imagine that once we're getting out of the house more it would be nice to have an easy way to attach a pacifier leash, but we haven't needed that yet.

We have about 8 of these! Never want to be caught without a binkie. These are the same as on the woobies and the only pacifier my LO ended up liking. It's great to have extra. Wash them in the dishwasher with no problems. I did not have to get the 3+ ones. These ones have been fine. ****update: LO now uses the back part of the binkie and sides as a teether. She picks it up and knows which side she wants. It is a two in one! Could not use other binkies as a teether. Very happy we went with this one. She didn’t like it the first few months but we just kept trying it and now we can’t be caught without one. **Please help and select if this review was helpful! Item pictured is one of her purple ones. This one is yellow.

My baby boy loves these. He liked them better than the ones that I was given at the hospital, actually. They are similar, if you're familiar with those, but these are softer and they are the only pacifiers he wants to use. These are also a great price. They work great with pacifier clips, as they have a hole you can weave the string into. You can't really go wrong, here. I attached a picture so that you can see it with the clip.

These are the best hands down. They are used by most hospitals and both my kids loved these. I will say my daughter took to these right away but my son took to a different brand when he was first born. The kind with the plastic cover (basically like all the other pacifiers). But I switched him back to these because well I think these clean the best. The kinds with the plastic hard base...the water would get inside the nipple and would be very difficult to get the water out and it's also hard for babies to orient those pacifiers the correct way. With these, they are easy to clean, water does not remain in them and easy for baby to pop in his/her mouth any which way!

My baby hates these and will not accept them, so why am I giving them a 5 star? Because pacifier preference is individual to each baby and I know babies that will only accept this style. This is a straight, cylindrical pacifier made of one solid piece so it is easy to clean and there are not concerns about pieces coming off, as has been a recall issue with some other pacifiers. If your baby likes that style of pacifier then definitely get this one. If you are an expecting Mom trying to figure out which pacifiers to buy based on reviews, it might not work. My baby will only accept MAM pacifiers and will spit out all others. Your best bet is to buy a few different styles and see if your baby will accept any of them. Try to avoid stocking up on any one kind of pacifier until you know for sure which will work and which won't. Appeasing baby and helping them sleep will be way more important than whether or not you like the look, color or style, trust me!

These pacifiers are the same ones they provided to us at the hospital when my son was born. I grabbed as many as I could while we were in the hospital because I knew they would be lost quickly under couches, in the car, etc. but I couldn’t get enough so I’ve had to purchase them on amazon a few times. These are the “soothies” model. Our son will not take another type of pacifier because he is used to these. They are the closest to the look and feel of what a nursing mother has. I love that there is the hole in the middle to put your finger in and feel the baby suckling. It’s just such a cool feeling. It also helps my son calm down and feel that I’m there. My son is now 3 months old and still uses them regularly to soothe himself to sleep. I have also read that having a baby fall asleep with a pacifier can help reduce the risk of SIDS, so I like that benefit too. My only complaint about this style is that they kind of take up his whole face. So in pictures you mostly just see the pacifier. It’s advised to not use pacifiers until 6 weeks when breastfeeding has been established but these did not cause our son nipple confusion. (Every baby is different, I did not allow my now 8 year old to use a pacifier and now I’m wondering why because it really does help them learn to self soothe) Every time I purchase something online, I always check the reviews. I count on others to help me choose the best option. My reviews are always my honest opinion and I try to include photos if possible. Although this binky is pretty big and hides almost half the face of my baby daughter, she loves it so much! I first gave it to her at one week of age, and though not recommended for breastfeeding babies (so they don't get confused between the different kinds of nipples) I decided to give it a try after all, Knowing that this pacifier is recommended by doctors. She didn't seem to have it confuse her with breastfeeding and It calms her down almost every time she cries. Now after two months, I've already orderd the next size up.

I cannot begin to describe how much these pacifiers have meant to us. Our pediatrician recommended this to help with one of our twin daughters acid reflux. We immediately saw a difference in fussiness and her ability to self soothe. These pacifiers make me the most comfortable as we do not have to worry about parts separating from one another - given that it is one solid peace. My daughter loves her pacifier and they really hold up.

These pacifiers were recommended to us by a nurse working at a large hospital in San Francisco before we had the baby. We had bought some of the fancier pacifiers before we knew of this one. We were told that this pacifier's shape most resembles the breast, and the baby's mouth creates that fish-mouth shape when the baby uses this pacifier, which is very important if the baby is being breastfed. Now we use only these pacifiers at home, and the baby is taking well to them, and we've had no problem with breastfeeding. In addition, I like the green, it's cute, and it's made of one single piece of plastic, so no chance of pieces of plastic detaching and becoming a chocking hazard. Not the fanciest pacifier, but it's the best.
