Exact fit works great

I had a problem with my water flow on my refrigerator being too slow so I bought this filter. It was so easy to install I just pushed the old filter in hard and it released then I push the new filter in hard and it locked in hardly any drips of water. My water flow rate is higher now back to when I first bought my refrigerator.

New home with terrible water

Our new home has terrible city water and the fridge dispenser tasted just as bad. After installing this new filter and running 3 gallons of water through it (to clean and prime it), the water tastes GREAT! I am very pleased and will purchase at least one backup for future use.

Came exactly as advertised and was a perfect match to the existing one

Realized I hadn't replaced my fridge filter in a while. Came exactly as advertised and was a perfect match to the existing one. The only thing that could be improved is the directions.. It said to take out the old one and push in the new one til it clicks.. pushing pushing but no click! There were two little tabs that need to be removed from the prongs first. Maybe it was just me, but it would've been nice to have seen that written in the directions.

Fit our fridge perfect

My mom had a fridgedaire fridge in which the water had stopped flowing, and then her freezer stopped. My mom is not very good an knowing she needs to change the filter. Well thank god it was only the filter that had caused the water to stop and the a few weeks later subsequently stop the ice maker. Please change your water filters, it is so important so as not to cause failure of your appliance. Good filter. The filters are a little tight getting OUT of fridge filter insert spot, but the filter itself was perfect and this seemed to be best price and got same day shipment on this which was awesome.

Works well.

Ive been buying these for 2 years or so from here and since im reordering i decided to leave a comment. My purchases have been almost perfectly January and June every time so i can attest that these last a long time. My water doesnt come out of the tap particularly unpleasant though so your mileage may vary. i DO recommend running a little more water during the priming. you want to go until you cant SEE anymore debris and then a bit more. I would guesstimate maybe 2 - 2.5 G of water. After that its quick and clear water for 6-ish months.

I Finally Have Ice

For almost two years I just thought my Fridgidaire refrigerator was just slow to make ice and super slow to fill my glass with water. I do use a lot of ice when I make a drink so I also thought it was just me. It wasn't until my filter light on the fridge came on that I decided to buy a new filter. I ordered this filter and a few days later it ended up at my house. I put it in and I could NOT believe that for the past two years I've been just dealing with a bad filter. I put the new one in and my water is pouring out very fast and the ice maker is going crazy. I can't even keep up with the amount of ice it's producing. So...if anyone out there is having issues with their ice maker and water dispenser, you may just have to buy a new filter. Brad

Great Product!

Wow! What a difference from the OEM filters. Water flow is faster. I have to empty the ice bin at least once a week. I know all that will change with the warmer weather approaching. Easy to install and a whole lot more economical. I've had it longer than the suggested replacement time, but the water still has the same taste, there is not a difference in the ice cubes or the amount being produced. Will definitely purchase again.

An Upgrade Over Original

Bought this as a replacement for the filter that came with our fridge and have to say I am really pleased with the product. From my understanding it's a direct replacement for the filter that came with the fridge, but the water taste is so much better than from the stock filter. Perfect fit. Easy to install.

Works great

This fit my Frigidaire perfectly. It was very easy to install works as it should. The instructions said to run the water tap for a couple minutes, which we did. Now we have clear, fresh tasting drinking water. I will definitely repurchase when my fridge indicates it is time to replace.

Tasty water made easy!

This is the product that I always decide to replace my expiring filter with. I always keep one on hand and I'm always ready to replace the old filter with. It provides clean water to our ice dispenser/water dispenser. I have no issues with the product and have always been satisfied with the performance of this filter. I will always be using this product as long as I have my currant fridge and it's comparable in price to the other filters although all of them are expensive, this one is a little less so. The water and ice coming from the dispenser is always fresh and taste good so I feel like Frigidaire takes very good care of my family with these Puresource 3 water filters. Thank you Frigidaire! They are very simple to replace, just slipping the old one out and the newer one back into position.
