Awesome for the price!
Just a beginner, so initially, I liked the price. Read some other reviews and decided to get it. Got it originally for the wide angle, but I fell in love with the micro lens! Love that it comes in a small pouch with a cleaning cloth. I use it on my canon rebel t5. Doing a 365 photo challenge, loving all the photos I've taken with it so far!

Good product and service
This wide angle lens adapter is as described and reviewed. I took the warning from the person who screwed it in and scratched both lens and I have had no problem with attaching it to any of my lens. The fisheye wide angle is both interesting and useful depending on the subject and the proximity to the subject. While it has useful potential, right now it is, primarily, fun The lens were provided by Digital Goja and I have, since, purchased another product from Amazon Prime that was provided by Digital Goja. I am very satisfied with the quality of these products and the speed of the delivery.

But other than that it's fantastic.
Very helpful with landscapes definitely worth the purchase. It's all metal and glass and it's very durable. I have found when doing astrophotography the edges of the frame will get a little fuzzy ans the stars will seem blurred and streaked toward the middle. Also if you put this on an 18 mm lens you will get a heavy vignette circle. But other than that it's fantastic.

Worked great with my Nikon D3400 and 50mm 1.18g lens!
I’m not any sort of professional photographer at all. But picked up a Nikon D3400 to document family stuff and vacations, and then began collecting lenses to go with it and try to advance my camera and photo taking skills. I bought a 50mm 1.18g lens and loved the quality, but noticed I had to really step back away from subjects to get them to fit in the frame when taking photos. So I stopped using the camera altogether until it came across my mind to look for a wide angle lens. I did a quick amazon search and Altura came up first. Read the reviews and saw the photos, and for the great price I thought ‘why not try it?’ I honestly don’t know how I didn’t think to look for a wide angle lens before! This lens works so beautifully with my 50mm lens and adds so much more into the frame when I take photos. I saw some reviews complain that they saw a ring when they took photos with the lens but as you can see from the photo I attached I did not experience that at all. I was definitely careful to purchase the correct type of lens that had matching thread with current lens so maybe that’s why others had issues? But super happy with my purchase and the sellers are great too. I lost my lens cap and sent them a message to see if I could buy one, and they sent me a replacement one within a couple of days!

Works well with my Nikon D3200
I wanted a way to take pictures in my house and get more of the room in one shot, especially for small rooms with only one door entrance. Taking the photo from inside the door opening just didn't let me get the entire room with the stock 18-55 mm lens zoomed all the way out to 18mm. This was just enough to make the difference and allows me to get almost the entire room in the frame from the doorway. You can't zoom all the way out to 18mm or you start to get vignetting around the corners. One other thing I noticed is that if the stock flash is being used and is providing most of the light in the shot (for example, when photographing a dimly-lit room), the lens appears to cast a shadow on the lower portion of the frame. Using more ambient light solves this so it's not a big deal, but something to be aware of. Otherwise, the macro lens also works well for close-up shots and the wide angle adapter is just enough to make some tight interior shots easier. Since I'm not a pro, a $25 adapter is perfect for my needs vs. a several-hundred-dollar standalone wide-angle lens.

Great Buy
As a Realtor I often have to take shots in small rooms such as baths. This allows me to take the shot with enough width to make sense to the viewer.

This is a really fun lens, for not that much money
This is a really fun lens, for not that much money. That means us poorer artists can still get a nice lens without having to starve for a few months. It just screws on to the end of your existing lens, so don't expect it to be one that you can swap out like your others. And while it's not a "true macro," it certainly is fun to play with. I've heard that it can do some vignette effects, but I didn't find that yet. This is just the first time I've used it though. I can't wait to use it on a wedding or for portraits. It does bend straight lines, so be warned about that. I found that out when I took a picture of an old shed (included in the photos). Personally, I like that effect, but I know that would bug some people. It has a fun "tilt & shift" effect too, as you can see in the leaf photo. That might be really cool in some situations. I haven't tried the lens without the macro part attached, so that will be something to try. Overall, though, I highly recommend this lens. It's fun, it's priced reasonably, and it's nice quality.

Good value for beginning photographers
It's certainly not the same as buying a professional wide angle lens, but for a beginner or intermediate photographer it's a great value. The metal body of the lens is high quality. As for the reports of seeing a black ring on the outside of the pictures, it is true this happens but there is a simple work around to remove this. Zoom in a little bit until the black disappears. I've also found that sometimes the black ring makes for an aesthetically pleasing photograph.

Big dollar lens on low budget price
By no means am I a professional YouTuber, but I have been known to make videos of the local cars and coffee meets and was able to tryout this lens during the most recent event. The lens mounts right into place on my canon lens and easy to use. I have to say for the price I didn’t have high hopes but I think users will be pleasantly surprised as this offers A LOT of bang for your buck! The only real issue I had was getting the attachment off my lens. The wide angle adaptor was off easily, however, once off I noticed the base was still attached to my lens. This lead to a bit of a panic but after searching I learned that a large rubber band could be used to remove the attachment for the lens. When I was home and able to upload my footage I was very happy with the results from the lens. The wide angle is great and you can even use a setting to darken the the corners of your shot to really exaggerate the wide angle. Great lens!

This obviously isn't a professional lens.
For the price around 30 bucks and comparing it to others at the same price I give it 5 stars. Now if you compare it to a 300 hundred dollar lens I'd give it 2 stars. This isn't the lens for the wedding or professional photographer, I mean come on it's 30 bucks what did you think? It's for people like me who love photography but are on a budget. If I had the money of course I'd buy expensive ones but that isn't an option. I have noticed blurry edges around some landscape photos that can be cropped out. All I can say is that for 1/10th the price I can take some nice wide angle shots. Overall very happy with the lens.
