Great for lightweight usage

We have a number of these in various colors for my daughter's playroom. They work great as a decorative storage alternative. Lightweight, lockable and decently sized to store a variety of items from stuffed animals to costumes to seasonal clothing. I wouldn't advising using them to travel with (airlines,trains) or ship items in simply because I don't believe they would sustain the rough handling they would possibly be subjected to:-( But with that in mind, they could easily be slid beneath a bed, stacked in a closet or stored in an attic and most likely hold up to years of usage.

NICE TRUNK WORTH WHAT I PAID

No wall paper type lining but a good solid trunk, there are two keys and the lock is a bit different than those of my youth, its part plastic and latch but works and is pretty well made too! There is the option of a lock and key set and I will be getting one for mine the next chance I get! I bought black as pictured here cause the colors available are a little more in price. Its a well made trunk even for today's standards. I will be buying another because of the good quality I found this one to be! Thanks for reading!

Fantastic Trunk for Dorm Rooms

Love, love LOVE this trunk. I bought this for my dorm room during my sophomore year in college (3 years ago now) and I have had it ever since. The only thing I regret about this purchase is the color. Hot pink does not blend in very well with my cherry-wood finished furniture I have in my apartment, but I cannot bring myself to get rid of this trunk. High quality, durable, long-lasting trunk! I have used it for crafting supplies, shoes, textbooks, as well as odds-and-ends and it has held up through all of them. I wouldn't put anything ridiculously heavy in here, but you're pretty safe loading this trunk up with whatever it is that you need stored. 100% recommend for college dorm rooms, although pick a color you can deal with long-term!

A home for magical adventures

I considered the comments about it being unsturdy and lacking enough useful handles carefully, and decided that I didn't need it to do much more than function like a cardboard box so it should be fine. It has been just the right tool for the job. Our daughter loves dressing up in costumes, but they are always buried in her closet and mixed up with everything else that gets stuffed in there, no many how often I organize things. I bought this so I could set them out in her room. She gets to them easily now. I leave it flipped open so the costumes can spill over into the lid. This lets her see more and lets it holds more. They don't get mixed up with other closet stuff, other than the occasional stuffed animal, and she and her friends are playing with the costumes much more. For us it was the perfect tool for the job, and because it's a trunk, a staple of fiction, you kind of have the feeling that a magical adventure must be in store.

Black truck

This black wooden trunk is awesome for any college kid or adult looking to keep covers blankets or any type of other stuff you need to store safely and securely the black wood finish is very sleek and the goldish metal accents allow for a very stylish Decore On the inside of the trunk there's no shelves and no drawers allows for deep storage it also comes with a key to keep it locked but if that lock brakes you can always just buy a padlock because it has a little hook to put one through it also has two latches to secure the trunk I would recommend this to any college kid or anyone looking for safe and protected storage

Hope this lasts for 4 years

We bought this for my daughter's dorm room. We were able to pack bedding in it for move in day and saved room in our vehicle. We bought a padlock for it anyway and as long as her stuff is in it, she is insured for loss. It is not substantial enough to sit on. I wouldn't use it as furniture, but it keeps things put away and out of sight.

LOVE LOVE LOVE

This is the most adorable item in my house...well besides me! jk I so love this footlocker/trunk that I am going to buy more in different shapes. This holds so much crap and clears up more space than I ever imagined! The fact that it locks and you can add your own lock is just grand! Of course, it is not heavy duty like the older ones from back in the day but it is sturdy and a beauty to look at! If you are looking for something in this line than look no further! This is it! It is good for oh so many things and more then I can even think of. You won't regret it.

Great Trunk!

Nicely constructed. Solid trunk and great price. I saw a great idea on household hacks and this is just what I was looking for and it worked perfectly! Vets recommend larger dogs food is placed higher for better digestion and this was the perfect height I was looking for. Looks great, holds the food bowls AND stores the food inside!

Great trunk and sturdy

Looked high and low for a foot locker style trunk to store my daughter's dress up clothes. I had one growing up that I stored my Barbies in and wanted something sturdy like that for her costumes. This arrived really, really quickly and is exactly what I've been looking for. Perfect size, color (pink) and has stood up for nearly a year so far against my kids using it as a chair, stage, and barricade (😬) to keep each other out of their rooms. I'm probably going to order another one for my daughter's Barbies.

SEWARD TRUNK EXCELLENT

I purchased this trunk after reading reviews. It came very well packed and was delivered on time. As it claims it is for storage and that is exactly what I am going to do. It does have a hasp for a lock, I already purchased same. It will be stored in my office to hold files of things that I have researched. I did not expect to move it, nor leave as a family heirloom. Made in USA and indicates if is perfect storage. Good buy!!!
