I use 2 of these to store my colored pencils in. I stack one on top of the other making it really easy to open the drawers and gives me easy access to my pencils. Two drawers hold my full set of Prisma Colored Pencils and I have plenty of extra space for my odd numbers of different brand pencils. They are reasonably priced with plenty of space. They also look good sitting on my desk and can be moved around easily.

Perfect, exactly what I was looking for

Perfect, exactly what I was looking for! I ordered two and found I will need a couple more, guess I have more colored pencils and supplies than I realized! I highly recommend this product! These boxes stack easily and, because of the dividers, are very versatile. I only have one recommendation for Jerry's, the company. I've been looking for something like this for quite a while. Since I always searched for pencil storage or pencil boxes, etc. etc., these never came up after such a query. I actually found them quite by accident after they were mentioned in a tutorial. You might add 'colored pencils' in addition to 'pastels' in the heading. Thank you -- looking forward to purchasing from you again!

Good organizer for your modeling desk

Bought this to organize all of the small tools I use in modeling. My desk is now pretty well open an it is easier to find my small tools, not to mention that it also protects these same items. Doesn't take up much space and strong enough so that you can still stack other items on top of it if needed. It definitely works for me.

Creative Mark 3 drawer from Jerry's Artarama

I want to be sure to note that I ordered the Creative Mark 3 drawer from Jerry's Artarama - There are a couple different brands on Amazon and reviews vary a great deal. I almost didn't order these after reading so many mixed reviews. Until I saw one reviewer comment that Jerry's Artarama carries the Creative Mark brand which were better quality. I took a chance and ordered 2 of the three drawer units. My storage boxes arrived in 2 days, well packaged and undamaged. There was no odor to them, other than what I would consider normal for a new wood product. - The construction is good, no warping. The drawers are aligned and slide in/out without any difficulty. I have been using it on the table with my laptop or iPad on top. ( raises the iPad up to eye level and I can use the Bluetooth keyboard on table ) The 2 wood supports along the front and back edges supports the weight of the laptop/iPad so it isn't resting directly on the top of the box. It also allows for air circulation. - I don't know if the dividers are designed to come out. - But, with a little gentle wiggling I was able to remove them so I can arrange them to fit my items. I wanted to be able to remove the foam and replace it with felt on the bottom of the drawers. - I was worried that the drawers might not be deep enough for some of the items I wanted to put in it. Everything fit and the drawers close without any problem. Although, In a perfect world, I would have liked one drawer just a bit deeper - :) Maybe I have too much junk ! All in all - I give the Creative Mark 3 drawer storage 5 easy stars - Jerry's actually sent an email to follow up with my order - who does that these days :). My first purchase from Jerry's... but not my last !

Perfect Storage Box

I got this box to store colored pencils and it works perfect. The drawers open and close easily and come out if needed. I purchased an additional two boxes and have them stacked. There is a small horizontal block on the top of the box that allows for stacking and stability. The stacked boxes are slightly offset and gives it a nice visual effect. The boxes stack by setting back 1/2 inch from the top bar, 1 inch in total if looking from the side. The wood has a nice smooth finish and is well balanced.

Excellent Quality!

I bought three of these boxes. They are listed as pastel boxes but, after I bought the first one I was so impressed with the quality I decided to buy two more to organize all my colored pencils. I have several sets of pencils and the features of these boxes work perfectly for them. In addition to the boxes looking neat and professional, there is a thin foam liner in each drawer tray that cushions the pencils so they don’t roll around, the trays are divided into sections. The dividers are removable, I’m not sure if they are meant to be but they are a loose fit for the slots, they just fit, so, they can be stationary or removed to make larger sections. I think if someone needed them to be permanent, the dividers could be glued in. The drawers are deep enough that I can actually layer the pencils 2 deep making almost twice the room in each drawer. The boxes and drawers are well constructed with each featuring dovetailed detail indicating good construction. Some other reviewers have complained about an odor from their purchased boxes but I only noticed (which I think) was a slight glue odor on one set I purchased. I set that box outside in the sun with the drawers removed for a day and any odor was quickly dissipated. I have had the boxes for a couple months now and don’t notice anything. These boxes were purchased one after the other and all were shipped promptly. I have done alot business with the art supplier of these boxes for other art supplies and they are very professional and prompt, each box arrived in less than a week. I'm very pleased with these purchases.

Bought this pastel box to store watercolor and colored pencils perfectly.

I should receive this shipment today in fact. I have previously purchased three of these pastel boxes. I do not use with pastels however, I use for my colored pencils and water color pencils. Fits 120 pencils perfectly. I got the idea from another colored pencil artist. The drawers easily slide all the way out to spread them out on your desk while you are working. They look great on the desks too. All of the drawers work, there was no smell as I read in other reviews. I did not have to do anything to "finish" them. Highly recommend if they are made by Creative Mark, some of the other boxes from other companies are not the same quality and I can't vouch for them. You can purchase several places, I prefer Jerrys Artorama which you can order through Amazon or from them direct.

One of the best purchases I've made in a long time

Now I can find all of my colors, and it keeps my art center clear - had to buy two, will probably need a third one soon.

pastel and art supply drawers

I had been watching this item for a while. It came up at a very good price and arrived quickly. I'm not using it just for supplies to keep my desk top organized. I highly recommend it to other amateur artists!

This is by far the best quality one I've seen out there. For the price this was a steal, I bought two of them and filled them up with PrismaColor pencils. I took out the lining because it was pretty thick, once I took the lining out I was able to stack PrismaColor Pencils 3 high in each drawer. There is a fairly strong odor from the stain, but it will go away. Note the picture is a set of two stacked on top of each other.
