Yummy, healthful
This is the finest canned sockeye and well worth the price. The dangers of eating farmed salmon are numerous in addition to its yucky taste. Once one goes to wild fish there is no going back. I eat a can per day and generally enjoy right out of the can with nothing added.

Delicious tasty salmon
The sockeye salmon inside the can is tasty! It looks pink, but not those of artificial coloring. There are no bones and skins attached. As with all seafood, it has the distinctive seafood "fishy" smell, just like canned tuna or canned sardines, which I like. I ate this out of the can , as well as, added this as a side dish to my cooking. I am going to check out Wild Planet tuna and sardines next *.*

You know that you are eating fish !!!
This is a great lunch treat that should meet the req's of someone who is sticky about wild caught fish. Good source of protein and I can easily clear the lunch room when I open one of these because of the strong fishy odor. Love it.

A real treat!
This is delicious! When wild Alaskan sockeye isn't available in grocery stores, this satisfies my craving. It's so flavorful that hardly anything needs to be added to it. I just add a little organic mayo, and that's it. Buying it online is so much more affordable than in stores.

PERFECT for Salmon Croquettes!
I forgot how good Salmon Croquettes could be! My mother made them a lot when I was a child (MANY YEARS AGO) and, as an adult, I thought I should only eat the fancy grilled salmon fillets or steaks. Oh, PLEASE!!! I bought a case (since it is so hard to find good tuna in my area) and my family has really enjoyed the tasty croquettes. They have become a new favorite dish at my house! However, I have not tried it any other way. I mean, why mess with perfection, right? You might want to get with some friends to buy your first case...but after that, you'll start buying a case to yourself because it is a great way to incorporate more fish into your diet and (depending on how much catsup they use) is a great way to get your kids to enjoy eating salmon! I use Onion, Bell Pepper, Celery, Panko (or Whole Wheat BreadCrumbs) and some CAJUN seasoning in my Salmon Croquettes! My mother always used Onion, Bell Pepper and Saltines. Either way...DEEE-LISH!

Best canned salmon available!
I like to eat salmon for the health benefits but can't stand all the work cooking and cleaning off the skin, etc. from fresh or frozen. I also can't have farm-raised salmon, due to chemical sensitivities. This canned salmon is wild, natural, and precooked to perfection, with no yucky skin and bones...I eat it plain from the can or with a little honey-mustard dressing. Thank you Wild Planet for making this available!

Expensive, but tasty
I was baited into buying the more expensive sockeye salmon after reading reviews about how good it is. After trying it, I agree with the other reviewers. On Sundays, I make a large salad to take for lunch during the work week. It's really easy to bring a can of salmon and add it to the top of my salad. Makes for an easy-to-prepare, healthy meal!
