I have NEVER had a plant fail to thrive when using this product. I am a firm believer in its purpose and performance. Little sprigs that would have never made it without FastRoot now are huge and thriving. Good price and it arrived a day early! The jar is very small so don't be alarmed. It takes only a small amount. I wet the roots then roll them around in the white powder just before planting in a pot or the ground. Root hormone is in my top 10 arsenal of "Go To's". I have taken a cutting with a small hair like root, used FastRoot and the plant flourished all summer. A friend and I also have plants that were repotted at the same time. Some we gave FastRoot and some we did not. By far, the plants given FastRoot performed better all season with faster, fuller growth and more beautiful blooms. It is a must-have if you are a dedicated plant Rehabber. Enjoy your plants this season!

I've rooted about a gazillion plants over the years with this product. I finished the last jar to start some limbs I accidentally brok off an azalea plant and couldn't bring myself to throw them in the trash. So now I have a newly-rooted plant go give as a gift to brighten someone's day. I love watching things grow and seem to have a green thumb, but it sure helps to have Miracle-Grow FastRoot on hand to insure success.

I am having lots of fun experimenting with this product. So far I’ve propagated basil and rosemary plants, and it’s worked very well! My intention was to buy it to propagate hydrangeas so I can quit spending money on them, so hopefully my results will be just as great! It’s very easy to use and will last a very long time.

I love this rooting compound, I've used it with all my cuttings. I just propagated several of my Especias on March 24th and I'm hardening them off this week. They rooted the first week! I kept them in the "incubator" for several weeks to be sure they were strong enough to start the hardening off process. I've started doing it this week, we have some odd, dreary weather and no sunshine or I would have done it last week. They are perfect!

Excellent product. I use it in conjunction with rooting gel. Dip in gel first - then powder. I’ve never lost a clone. Perfect!

This SMALL bottle will propagate countless twigs and cuttings. Use barely a small dusting - not a coating mind you, a VERY tiny dusting, just on one small part of the twig. All of the plants I used with this took root, even the hard to root ones like soft-bodied plants such as catnip, which usually rot or dry out before they take root.

My Hibiscus bushes have been on overdrive this summer here in Florida, so I bought this to root some of them from cuttings. This FastRoot powder does exactly what it says and works extremely fast to root Hibiscus which can generally be difficult to root from cuttings. My success rate was about 80% which is much better than expected. Will definitely buy this again and recommend it.

My mother recently passed away and I used this product after taking cuttings of her rose bushes. The rose bushes have significant meaning to me as they had been transplanted from my grandmother's property when she died, with the original bushes being about 80 years old. I took the cuttings and after watching a few YouTube videos I went to it. Much to my delight, all the cuttings are taking root with very little effort. Tips for rooting roses: Be sure the cutting is scuffed up a bit (in the case of roses) to expose what's under the tough, green skin. Remove thorns, leaves and any blooms prior to attempting to have the cutting take root. And make sure the piece is wet before dipping into the FastRoot. Have a container with potting soil ready and holes (made by a pencil - works well) already in the medium so that the least amount of FastRoot is knocked off when placing in the dirt. This product is a good one - better than Clonex which I tried unsuccessfully first. Easy to use and it works as expected.

I am impressed at how well this works. I've done a couple of test groups with"easy to propagate" plants and it really speeds up the rooting process ! Pic was taken a month after trimming the original plant. I rooted the cuttings in water first after dipping it in fastroot then moved them into soil after the first week. Works great with herbs too!!

I took three cuttings from fruit trees this spring. I delayed dipping them in the powder and planting them for about 2 hours. The directions say to do it immediately, but I had brought the clippings home from a relatives house. I recommend following the manufacturers directions, and I am happy (and surprised!) to say that all 3 cuttings are doing well. I dipped the cut ends and planted the cuttings in pots using soil from my yard. I watered them thoroughly and it has been about 10 days since they were planted. Two of the three look a little thirsty but are otherwise in great condition. The third is completely upright like it’s been there forever. All three cuttings have retained all of their leaves, so I know that the product is working and that all three of them are taking up water. These three young fruit trees would have cost me $30 each at the store but I got them for the price of the Miracle Grow FastRoot powder. I’m looking around my yard at all of the plants that I’ve wanted more of, but couldn’t find or didn’t want to pay the retail price for. FastRoot will help me to extend my hedgerow, grow a second Magnolia tree, grow new fruit trees and increase the number of blueberry bushes that I have. FastRoot will also allow me to start new heirloom plants that are no longer being sold at nurseries. I’ve even thought about being able to gift fruit trees to friends and family with this product. The product was clean and easy to use. I bought the 1.25 ounce container. From the amount that was used for the three cuttings, I would estimate that I could easily get more than 25 uses out of it. A true money saver.
