Don't know what some people complained about. Rec'd product quickly in the plastic bag which did not have as much as a rip in it. Mat was in perfect condition and laid flat in seconds. It looks good in truck bed and will offer excellent protection. This model was for a 2018 Dodge Ram Crew cab with 5'7" bed. Amazon makes finding the right mat very difficult. Stick with it, you won't be disappointed.

If you are like me and every time you hit the brakes you winch because whatever is in your truck bed just shifted forward, then get one of these. I can not say anything about the durability as I just got it. I can say that it is thick and whatever you put on it will stay put. ( I would not go "drifting" and expect it all to stay). Fit perfectly in my short bed Ram 1500. Took about 8/10th of a minute to install ( recommend you vacuum the truck bed )

Fits like a glove you won’t be disappointed

After ordering my truck cover to secure items in the bed of my truck while I was away I quickly found out I needed something to help with the sliding around of items in the bed. After a grocery shopping trip I was met with bags of chips that were popped open after the items in the back of the truck smashed them against the wall. I immediately went to Amazon and found this highly reviewed bed mat for my 2011 Ram 1500 with a 5.7” bed. The first thing I loved about this item was that it arrived before schedule and just in time for a short trip my Wife and I had planned up through the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the biggest little city in the world, Reno, NV. After reading some reviews that suggested opening this while standing in the back of the bed I did just that and it fit every contour like a glove. After about thirty minutes in the heat under my bed cover it was fully flat and noticeably very ‘grippy’. I installed this over a spray on bed liner and it complements the surrounding walls and tailgate vey well. While loading up our suitcase for the trip I noticed the ‘grippy’ mat held our suitcase like a magnet. After arriving to our destination through the twists and turns of the mountains the suitcase hadn’t moved an inch! Great, exactly what I was looking for. Now the second thing I love about this mat if you notice in my pics I have about 6 big cans of assorted veggies my Wife found while shopping in Reno. Since we are still stockpiling for the pandemic we decided to purchase them and put our newly bought truck bed mat to the test. Unbelievably the position the cans are in is the same position we placed them before we started our 3 hour return trip through the Sierra Nevada mountains home. I averaged speeds of 75-80 mph, uphill, downhill, etc. and did not hear a single bump! I’m impressed with the product and will update in the future if any issues arise.

Very good quality

This is a rubber floor mat for your truck bed, it's not rocket science. It's just thick enough, fits perfectly, and just tacky enough to keep things from sliding around. It also keeps your things (and your knees) from being scratched up against your spray liner. Holds up great, can be easily washed. Very glad I installed it. The one thing to remember is: I suggest removing it when washing. Keeping it on the bed will keep the moisture against the bed which will encourage rust. Take it out and let it, and the bed, air dry before dropping it back on top.

Great compliment to spray in bedliner

Great inexpensive mat to cushion the bed of my truck. I put this on top of the Line X spray-in bedliner to just offer a bit of cushion and grip for when I have to put items in the bed of my truck. I was leaving my house when it arrived and just tore open the bag and laid it in the bed, by the time I got to where I was going (about 20 mins) the mat was completely flat and any rubber smell it had was gone. It's a similar shade of black to the Line X as well so it appears almost seamless at first glance which was nice to see. Highly recommended.

Good build worth the money!

Wanted to have a mat in my 2018 Ram truck bed, on my old 2007 Ram Truck, I used a piece of left over carpet from a friend's new carpet installation, that worked for over 12 years. Now I don't have friends who are getting new carpet for their house, so this is what I found and it turns out to be good for it's cost.

Fit my 2014 Ram Big Horn w/ 5'7" box perfectly!

This Mat # 86996 is made for 5'7" box Ram pick-ups 1500/2500/3500 09-to present (DEE ZEE label on package). Nice mat well made. Best of all "Made is USA". Amazon price is best on web. Mark as gift to add extra heavy white plastic bag for ship protection. Could not convince Amazon rep. to box for shipping. Mine made it with no damage on ends. Amazon fit tool needs updating.

Fits my husbands 2018 Dodge Laramie perfectly

I was a little uncertain what to expect after reading all the reviews. However my husband and I were pleasantly surprised when the mat arrived. The mat is heavy and the appropriate thickness to protect his truck bed from scratches and required no trimming. Keep in my that his truck isn't used as a work truck, the worst thing we might put in the bed is some furniture or mulch, so we can't attest to durability of the mat under extreme conditions. Overall he's very happy with the mat.

the Dee Zee is every bit as good as a factory mat

I purchased this mat for my 2017 Ram 1500 Bighorn with a 5'7" box. It was shipped in a plastic cover, which doesn't provide much protection. However, I lucked out because it was undamaged and in pristine condition. This mat is definitely heavy duty. I compared it to a mat that I purchased from Mazda Corp for my beater B4000 truck and it is the exact same thickness. In other words, the Dee Zee is every bit as good as a factory mat, at least the one sold by Mazda. This Dee Zee fits my Ram 1500 Bighorn perfectly. It is 1" short on the tailgate end as other raters have stated but I don't think it is a defect. The factory mat in my Mazda truck is also 1" short so I assume most mats are like that. The Dee Mat is half the price of the Chrysler mat but just as good!

Perfect for my application

I have a 14 RAM with the 5'7" bed , I did not want to pay for the spary in liner as I do not have a need for this. I have had this for several years now, and the bed is covered with a hard tonneau cover. this bed mat is heavy and does not move and after removing and cleaning a few times on the driveway with a power washer, I can see the bed under the mat is not getting marred in any way. I think being under the tonneau cover helps with that. Also the truck is garaged.
