My teenage daughter does competitive speech where displays are required. Another speech parent recommended this easel. This is the third one we tried and it was the final winner! The easel is sturdy, can easily hold 4-5 thick poster boards, and has a broader telescoping range than any of the other easels we purchased. We were also able to position a plastic tote in the "triangle" behind the boards to hold other visuals my daughter needed to use during her speech. The only negative is it does not come with a case. We solved this by buying a portfolio case with a long narrow pocket big enough to hold a folded easel.

This is the perfect size to place my dry erase boards on, I have several to swap out for work space. This is not too big so you can move it around and telescope the legs to raise or lower however you need. Exactly what I needed!

I got two of these easels for our wedding, to support one large foam board, and one large acrylic sign. I was a little hesitant to purchase something so large online without having seen it in person, so I ordered one first. Once we got it, my husband took it out, tried setting it at various heights, opening and closing it. Thankfully, it worked wonderfully and was surprisingly sturdy (especially for the price - so many of the other easels offered online are triple the price), so we ordered a second one. We brought both of the easels to the venue for our wedding, and they stood up wonderfully on both concrete and on the grass! We were so happy with this purchase, especially with the affordable price tag, since they were purchases for just one-day-use. After the wedding was over, we put them back in their boxes and brought them home with us, and they're still in absolutely perfect condition. We would definitely recommend these easels (as long as your sign is under 25lbs)! If my review has helped you in any way, please let me know, or hit "Yes" under this review. Thank you! :)

I ordered three plastic "lightweight" easels from another vendor (not Amazon)for a trade show that I am exhibiting at and was so disappointed in the quality that I started my search all over again. Found myself on trusty Amazon.com. These easels are really great and I was so completely satisfied that I placed another order. They are lightweight, yet strong. Fold up to about 36" so they fit nicely in my plastic tote container (Sterlite). The middle anchor provides stability. They are fully adjustable from full height to somewhere in between due to the locking mechanism on the sliding legs (similar to a tripod). Best part is the rubber insert on the fold-down art holders that keep your artwork, sign or whatever exactly where you place it. I could not be happier. I would definitely recommend this product.

I bought this item with the intention of using it to hold a lightweight dry erase board. The item at first glance seemed to have been missing pieces but after later inspection I extended the legs on the bottom of each poll and also pulled down the prongs that hold up the board. I am really happy with this purchase. I like how easy it is to put away and how light in weight it is. Definitely will be making another purchase soon.

Great for what I need it for which was to display a canvas painting for which there was no way to put a hole in the wall for a nail to hang it with. However, as simple an item as it is, I could not figure out how to telescope the item. It would be so much easier if a verbal description were given, in addition to the pictures, for people like me who cannot decipher pictures when putting things together. Someone else figured it out immediately for me from the pics! I put a piece of canvas art on it, and it looks great. The item has a great price and is very functional. The only drawback for me, as I stated already, is that one or two paragraphs next to the pics would have helped me immensely! I actually thought from the pictures that a piece was missing. However, I am in the minority on this I am sure. I just wish manufacturers of everything would take the time to do a verbal description for people like me who have trouble with understanding pictures when it comes to assembling anything. As stated, I am very happy with the easel itself. It is attractive, does what it is intended to do, and the value is good!.

As other reviews have said, this is not the sturdiest, but I really like the design and it easily holds both studio and gallery canvases with little obstruction of the painting surface. Knowing the parts are a little fragile, you should get plenty of life out of this if you are gentle when making adjustments.

I am a high school Mock Trial coach and we need easy to use easels to set up our exhibits for scrimmages and competition. The ones we had you need an engineering degree to set up (and it wasn't quick). We initially got 2 of these to try out and ended up ordering 2 more. The students don't have to fight it to set up. That means the exhibits are set up quick and easy. Pros: lightweight quick set up adjustable for the size needed right price (since we are a school program that is a very important item) Cons Wish is was a little shorter when we telescope it down so it would fit in our exhibit bag easier (this is so not a big deal though).

My wife & I have a fresh-produce business that we set-up in two locations. We need easels to display dry erase boards with prices & other information on them. I don't have any extra time to dilly-dally when assembling and disassembling the easels each time. I love the flip-locks on the telescoping legs. I've had an easel with the screw-tight lock on the telescoping legs and they are time-consuming and tend to fail from unintended over-tightening and stripping-out of the threads. I LOVE THIS EASEL.

This easel is exactly as it was described on-line. It came fully assembled. You do not need to do anything but extend the legs to the desired height and adjust the little arms that hold the poster board. I'm showing the picture of the easel holding a board that is 22" x 28". I got a heavy thick piece of poster board as my backing and then added a color poster board to use as my Vision Board. It is light weight and will serve my purpose. The best part is that I just opened up the box and didn't need to find a screw driver or anything to set it up.
