4 hours of focus
I got this foam for our girls, who are 7 years old. They were absolutely infatuated! First they experimented with combining colors, then they took to building elaborate things. Buildings, characters, creatures. They were engrossed in this pretend world where they could create anything- the foam holds its shape much more easily than playdough. It is very very lightweight, so your buildings can be completely top-heavy and still stand up. To our amazement, they sat there playing with this at the table for 4 hours!!! Laughing, singing, doing silly voices. I've never seen anything hold their attention so long. When they were done, they just put the foam in a ziplock bag and there was nothing to clean up. Our dining table has a glossy white surface, this left no marks or stains. No messes like with playdough, kinetic sand, etc. We only gave them half of the colors so we still have half the pack for some future occasion where we need them out of our hair. Though for less than 10 bucks, even if they never touch it again it was worth it. As far as some of the negative reviews, I would honestly say please use common sense. Don't use this on carpets. Don't let your kid stick it to the curtains or the cat. For an activity to do sitting down calmly, it's great. If your kiddo is still a tot and will try to put the foam in their nose, I'd say hang onto it until they're a bit older and can appreciate it more.

Easy cleanup and silly fun.
I was skeptical about the "never dries out" claim, but so far it has been stored in the open for about 9 days and it is exactly the same as when we first opened it. When you touch it, it feels sticky, but then you pull your hand away and it doesn't stick to you and doesn't leave your skin sticky. WEIRD STUFF. As a mom and babysitter, this is actually a welcome break from modeling doughs that get adhered to clothing and other fabrics, bc this foam stuff just sticks to itself! We have a winner, ha! Plus it doesn't smell or leave color on our hands, and when the kids inevitably mix the colors, it just makes rainbow instead of brown. The ages that enjoy it here are 2.5, 4.5, 6, and 39!

Cool but you should know all this before you buy
This is a really fun product! But there are some pros and cons the pros are but it's fun and it's different and my four-year-old loves it. The cons are although all the colors seem to be vibrant after only 15 minutes of playing with it and mixing it together it loses its vibrancy if you mix them all together it looks like it's all yellow with speckles of blue keep in mind hot pink vibrant orange vibrant green vibrant blue was all part of this mix and if you're playing on a surface it will leave some of the colored behind all it really is a small balls of foam coded and some kind of sticky stuff.

It really doesn't leave a sticky or oily feeling on your hands like Play-doh often does nor does it leave any oil ...
I was very skeptical at first about the whole "no mess", "non sticky" advertising but when I got this product for my two year old, I was pleasantly surprised. It really doesn't leave a sticky or oily feeling on your hands like Play-doh often does nor does it leave any oil marks on surfaces. It sticks together just fine and even if I accidentally leave it out for an extended period of time, it'll still be just fine and won't dry. My husband, who is often cautious when it comes to buying these types of things, was actually impressed with it. The only downside I can think of is that they are made up of tiny, tiny "balls", so if you're anal about colors mixing together, then you might not want to get this cause it's easy for the colors to mix (you kind of just have to accept that it's going to happen) and also if your toddler eats things off the ground still, the "balls" are easy to pick apart and accidentally eat.

always a great buy and lots of fun!
I have bought this exact set multiple times! my kids adore it! I love all the colors. They are vibrant and fun. Also that when you mix them it doesn't act like playdough and turn one yucky color. It doesn't dry out so it lasts so much longer than other products. I have compared it to many other brands from other stores, and this one seems to be the best quality. It doesn't leave that weird residue that you can never get off no matter how hard you wash. It comes easily out of hair, rugs, fabrics, and kitty's tails. I just throw it in a ziplock baggie when they are done with it. I think it is well worth the price. I have paid the same consistent price for about a year now. I also like that I don't have to wait to see if it is going to go on sale, or worry that the price fluctuates and it isn't worth it so I have to wait. I buy this for my daughter's head start classroom all the time. all the parents love it and have asked for the link multiple times!

Playfoam Fun!
My son was so excited to get mail this morning! He loves that the Playfoam comes in his favorite colors- pink, blue and green (with sparkles!). Initially, he didn't want to mix colors but then changed his mind and was so happy he did. We both like that you can still see all of the individual colors rather than his creations all becoming one uniform color. He has been playing for about an hour, and it has been interesting to see his imagination run wild. So far he has made a frisbee, a ball and a mountain for his dinosaurs. This is a great toy for rainy days like today and as something quiet and calm to play together. I recommend! We received this toy in exchange for reviews.

Great gift
We purchased this as a gift for my nephew who is 5 years old with ADD. This was a great gift for him. It keeps him occupied and keeps his hands and mind engaged. It doesn't over stimulate him like a flashier gift would. Overall excellent buy for us, and great gift for him.

Creativity and sensory play
We love playfoam! My kids ages 2.5 and 4.5 love playing with playfoam and creating masterpieces! I love that it is sensory play and encouraging them to use their creativity and imagination to create anything they want to! I love how this set includes different colors so my kids can share. I actually prefer my kids to play with playfoam over other sensory products as this isn’t messy and clean up is a breeze! Also this never dries out so it can be played with inside, in the car, outside, etc. We have given playfoam in birthday party goodie bags and my friends always share how much it has kept their kids occupied for a long time! We always take playfoam with us on plane rides and long car rides since it keeps my kids busy for a long time! Playfoam is the perfect goody bag toy or even a birthday present for all kids! Highly recommend!

Awesome.
My kids (4.5 and 6.5 yrs) and I LOVE this stuff. Yes, occasionally some of the little balls stick to their hands while playing with it like some of the negative reviews said, but it's easy enough to get it off. You literally just have to touch it to the rest of the floam. It sticks to itself. It's that easy. My kids love that it's easier to mold and create sculptures than regular play dough. I love that it doesn't dry out and get weird after getting left out for a few hours before I discover that the kids did not actually put it away like they claimed they did.

Love it!
My children have played with it all: playdoh (homemade and store bought), kinetic sand, all different slimes... This “floam” is my favorite, by far! If you pull it apart, yes it has some stickiness to it. However, it does NOT leaving your hands feeling sticky AT ALL! It’s not horribly messy. Are you going to lose a little foam ball here and there? Sure, but it’s peanuts compared to the mess other similar products make. It doesn’t stick to clothes, fabrics, etc; in my experience thus far. If your children play with it on a table or countertop it will leave a slight residue (cannot really be seen, but felt) that’s easy to wash up. In short, go ahead and get some! It’s a lot of fun!
