Once mounted and lit up, it looks glorious. It's a bit fragile feeling right out of the box (so keep your kids' hands away from it). And it's weight might cause some drooping atop the tree. To solve this, I filled the connector that slides onto the tree top with Playdoh and it created a firm grip.

Great for large tree

We needed a new star for our 8 foot tree. I was worried that this one would be too small but it's perfect. I don't think it would be too big for a 6 foot tree either. It has a home made look being as it's made from straw. Price was right too. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Bright and Rustic!

Love this star! Bright and rustic and perfect for our tree. It has a long cord which is awesome because it runs all the way down the back of the tree to the outlet. I prefer that it’s not battery powered. It is not super durable so don’t let your kids play with it haha which is fine because it just goes on top of the tree! We love it.

A great find!

Bought this to replace our existing star. I missed the light-up star from childhood, so i thought this would be fun. This is a nice size and the lights are great (I thought it wouldn't be enough lights, but after setting it on the top, it was just perfect!) The rattan seems a bit "crafty" but on the tree it is subtle and harmonious with the tree. I really do like it - very happy with my purchase!

Beautiful

Love the look of this star. It lights up beautifully! This year I didn’t use the holder to put it on the top of our tree instead I just rested it in the top of the tree and it looks beautiful. Would definitely buy this again, so happy to have a simple beautiful star topper and such a great price!

SO happy to find something simple yet elegant to top my tree!

I wanted something nice but understated to top my Christmas tree and looked and looked and almost gave up before finding this. Pretty much all the stars and angel tree toppers you find are incredibly gaudy, gold and glittery and over the top obnoxious. If you want something simple yet elegant that looks natural on top of the tree, I highly recommend this star. I'm so glad I found it! It has also lasted for several years now.

Lovely star!

Although I would have preferred a cheaper star, I got the attached because of the lights in it. It’s truly a great addition to my first tree in our new place. I didn’t use the green plastic part because our tree tip was too weak to support it. Instead, we wrapped our tree lights around the star to secure it to the tree. I would say this star would work best on a larger, more sturdy, tree than the one I have. Overall, a stunning piece that made my tree look wonderful!

Very pleased with this item

We put this star on top of our artificial 8ft tree. I had read reviews expressing difficulty getting it to stay straight. I was having that issue and decided to cut 2 fingers out of a rubber glove and place them over the stump end at the top of our tree. This made the plastic cone that came with the star fit much more securely and then I inserted the star into the cone and it is very straight. The star itself is attractive, looks exactly like the photo. I like it a lot!!

Elegant and simple

this tree star is exactly what I was looking for. add perfectly to any style tree since it’s so neutral and has clear lights to add elegance. very classy. I had to use a zip tie to keep on my tree. chord isn’t super long but we plugged It in to another string of lights and it worked out well for us. very sturdy not flimsy. thankyou!!!

Nice design, base is a "fit all" shape and size, warm glow light temp

Really nice piece for design and fit our tree motif perfectly. The mount is "fit all" and ends up only fitting just the right size tree top. We do natural trees so this changes every year. This is light enough and easy to tie to that top branch whatever it may pose for shape and size each year. The lights are traditional mini-lights and so give a warm yellow hue versus some of the blue white of many new LED light strings. We liked the difference. Although I may wire in a few of the matching LED lights next time to best integrate to the rest of the tree. Absolutely worth the price.
