Fantastic, if you follow a few pointers.
1. The vase is earthenware fired to cone 04. 2. Then, to the bisque piece, I applied a couple coats of flux to the shoulder area (about 2 inches wide) so that the glaze would crawl a bit. (I wanted to see some of the orange clay peeking through.) 3. Then, the next step was to apply some Amaco Peacock in a drizzled effect. The Peacock was not a full coat; rather, it was just dripped across the surface to give an appearance of veins. The Peacock turned more blue than green in the final firing, an unexpected result. And, this step really is NOT necessary if you are just experimenting with Outer Space. 4. Finally, most dramatically, the vase was coated with Duncan Outer Space. This glaze can turn very blue if applied to white clay. But over earthenware clay, as expected, it darkens and is more of a deep violet, not blue. It is important to pay attention to the crystals in this glaze. Wherever crystals end up--that's where those yellowish bursts form. You can push the crystals around to force a pattern of your choice. However, as you know, all glazes dry quickly and there is little time to fuss over where crystals rest. Who knew there was so much work to glazing? It's just paint, right? LOL

Exactly as Pictured
I loved how this glaze came out! Follow the instructions exactly. Don't shake the bottle until you're third coat and then stir it verses shaking. This bowl came out exactly has I had hoped.

New favorite Glaze
This is now one of my favorite glazes. I used some light flux on the top of the cup I made and it ran beautifully. No pic though because it ran too much and stuck to cookie and it broke while trying to remove. Used 3 coats next time I’ll use less flux.

To fire it completely to temperature... letting the kiln soak for one hour before shut off.
