I bought this because I over tightened the solenoid on my Deere and broke the stud off. I was getting confused with this new one because it came with four terminals and I broke this one too. I wanted to just order another one but the cost went from ten to sixteen dollars in the buy it again option. Anyways, I found another supplier on the same page. I wanted to share that the problem with these is that they'll break if you over tighten them. BUT. If you add another nut and hold the first nut with a wrench. You can secure the cable to the terminal without putting the torque on the solenoid. You'll keep yourself from over-tightening and breaking the post. I had to grind down a 1/2" wrench to less than the thickness of the nut but it worked great. Try putting the cables on before you mount it too. Easier to get the wrenches on those nuts. I hope this helps you. My machine is a 110 John Deere from the late 60's.

I actually ordered two of these one for my F150 and one for my F250. You may ask your self does a vehicle need two starter Solenoids? NO!!!! they dont. Ford just uses the fender mount Solenoid as a relay. But if they act up starting problems will ensue. Easy install and both trucks are operating as they should not more lag in the starting. nice and crisp..

Ford...love em or hate em, a remote located starter solenoid is brilliant. Unlike GM who typically builds the solenoid into the starter motor internally....in all the heat and vibration. Keeping it up towards the top of the engine compartment makes it live longer....AND BONUS...makes it a breeze to replace. And cheap too. If this thing lasts just 6 months I won't be upset. This solenoid fit perfect and thus far, works perfect.

My Triton V8 in my RV would not start when I turn the key. I would only hear a clicking sound. If I kept trying to start the engine eventually the starter would crank the motor. I replaced the solenoid and that fix the problem. Now it starts every time this item was easy to install and save me lots of money.$$$$$

I installed this on my 94 f350 IDI. My old one was making a really loud ticking noise when the glow plugs were warming up and after installing this it went away and got my wait to start light back to working.

A very well built product; this solenoid works as according to specifications, and all of the connectors and nuts work well. The plating on the base, threads and nuts seem like a basic metal coating (I used to work for a plating company), this may break down and start rusting with time; but some simple WD40 or other rust repellent should prevent that.

Zactly what I needed. The Beater is back! If you have one of these under the hood, old Mopars and Ferds, and you go to start and all you get is "click" and the battery is charged...replace the starter solenoid.

Bought as a quick trouble shooting parts replacement. Worked as it should. No problems since install on 2000 f150

This 4 post terminal solenoid can be used in place of the 3 post product. Just connect the "S" connection as usual and leave the 4th post unconnected. It works exactly the same as the 3 post solenoid. Why spend more if you don't have to? Check it out on U-Tube video.

A good working part. does what is expected of it.
