A very nice scope for the money.
This is actually my second ever side wheel scope (the first being the same scope in a compact model). It offers a crisp, clear picture, with easily adjustable side wheel objective. Others say the crosshairs are "heavy," but I don't feel that they are. The Easy-Tap color adjustment for the illuminated reticle takes a bit of practice/getting used to, but is overall a nice feature. This scope also comes with very useable rings, not the "freebie-crap rings" that other inexpensive scopes have come with. The turret adjustments and side wheel started out kinda stiff, but have loosened up a bit with use. I have it mounted to a Hatsan Striker Edge in .22, which is a hammer, and the scope has shown no signs of decay/damage from recoil. My compact version of this scope is mounted to my Vantage NP, which has killed every scope I've mounted on it in a short amount of time. The compact UTG has now resided on there for months/hundreds of shots. That says to me that they are tough. As I said above, a very nice scope for the money.

Great scope, colors a gimmick
I have this on my Benjamin Discovery in .177, and I am doing my part with the rifle benched, I can get single hole 5 shot groupings at 10 yds with its preferred pellet. I haven't taken the time to do longer ranges, but I am sure the scope will perform as expected. This is one of the best value scopes out there in terms of features/cost. The magnification range is perfect for off hand shooting - any higher magnification for me would be too much, and actually make shooting more difficult due to not being steady, and not able to track movement easily through the scope. I did add the 80 mm wheel, which makes adjusting the parallax much easier. The turret knob originally was a bit difficult to turn, but it did loosen up, and the wheel makes it a non-issue. The one complaint is the illuminated reticle, which I don't use. There is a good amount of light reflecting off the insides, and I don't find having all the colors to be that useful for me, though it may be for someone else. The battery compartment was a bit difficult to thread properly as well. Even with that single complaint, this is still worth 5 stars to me. This would still be rated that highly even if it did not have an illuminated reticle. Keep your expectations in line, this does not have an etched glass reticle, and will not be as clear as scopes costing factors more. For what it is though, I am extremely pleased.

Definitely go for UTG scopes.
Perfect. My 3rd UTG Scope. Simple, tough, and accurate for my needs. Love the quality of them (even though they're made in China). You won't need most of the "36" colors, and most people may entertain using 2 of them (red and green), and off (black). It is tough, I've used these reliably on rifles that destroyed Pentax/Nikon scopes with recoil. Comes with lens covers. I went out and picked up a Butler Creek flip cover for the lens closest to the shooters eye because it has a button to open with, but the covers the scope comes with work pretty good. The zoom works great. The buttons and switches work smoothly. The quality of the lens' seem good enough that I can't tell the difference in quality between this and mid-range priced scopes. If there was a downside to UTG scopes, it's that they are heavy due to the way they are built. I definitely recommend them. This is my 3rd UTG scope I've purchased from Amazon. They just work for me. I don't feel like I need to baby them. 'Besides, If I were to break it, I won't be crying over its loss. Go ahead and risk it.

did exactly what i expected
Took my .308 bolt to an indoor range with 100yds to zero in with this scope. I forgot my everyday cheaper ammo, and the only box of .308 they had at the shop was $50! So I had to make sure I streamlined the process. First shot wasnt even on paper. Waaay far down and right. Aimed high and left for second shot to get on paper. Counted my squares for a rough estimate on center to bring third shot within 3" of it. 4th round was in the center ring. 5th round was just to make sure. So, actually, I got zero'd in 3 rounds since the first was a tosser. and 5th was just to make sure. All the adjustments made were absolutely predictable. no guessing on how many turns i needed to coarse and fine tune. Ive never zero'd in so few rounds. image was sharp at full mag and parallax set. still have to fine tune parallax setting to focus right, but thats normal. very happy with this optic.

Great buy
Great scope for the price. This is my first real scope that I currently have mounted on an AR15 that I will be using for varmint and small game. I love this so much that if I do branch off into deer at any point this scope will be going with me. If anyone if attaching this to a flatop you should be fine otherwise get the 1.5 or more risers, you will need them.

GREAT scope!
I bought this with decent hopes it would work out for my CZ 455 varmint. This scope is GREAT! I shot off 500 rounds at 100 yeards and had ZERO issues. Glass is fine and the illuminated reticle is good too! I think for the money this is a great purchase!

Great low cost scope.
Love this scope. Simple to use, and install. Very easy to sight in at 100 meters. Have it on my AR10 mounted with a UTG 1.5" saddle pair of rings. Clears my Magpul BUIS with 1/8" to spare. Holds up to recoil just fine, no problems after 500 rounds mil surplus ammo. Easy to remove and re-install, has held zero entire time. Zero resetting turret is a very nice feature, makes "doping" the rifle that much easier. Purchased as openbox from Amazon warehouse for much less than retail. Looks and functions like brand new from factory. Very happy with this purchase.

Solid Dependable Scope
This scope is great. I have it mounted on my Benjamin Steel Eagle NP2 and it works flawlessly. It was easy to zero in, and stays zeroed without any movement when shooting. The lens are clear and sharp, and the adjustments are easily accessible and very easy to manipulate. The multi-color illuminated reticle is interesting, but seems more of a gimmick, at least for my situation, but that certainly does not take away from the build quality of this scope. Overall a very solid, dependable scope for the air rifle.

Forget what you expect, it's BETTER! UTG wins again
Zeroed in at 100 yards within 5 shots on my new Remington .30-06 Model 783. Have fired over 40 rounds since (new gun, have to break it in!). 1 month, a doe, and an 8 point later, still maintaining like a $500+ competitor's scope would! Don't pay for a brand name! This is MORE than what you will expect. The 36-color illumination has made nighttime hog hunting with my Stalktech Envy 2 LED a dream! Lastly, we have had various temperature changes and humidity as always in Southeast Texas. I have yet to experience fog. Best scope I've ever owned. I will continue purchasing UTG gear for all of my various firearms.. A+++++!!!!!

Great purchase
This scope arrived by USPS on the day promised and in perfect condition due to Amazon double boxing. Hope they don't start scrimping on shipping and packaging. I am impressed with this scope. After checking crosshair alignment and knob rotations, I mounted it on my Gamo Big Cat. Scope is a little heavier than what I was using but this is not a problem for me. Had this scope zeroed in 5 shots @ 50 ft. My lucky day. So far scope is working perfectly but haven't shot gun much to really see. Color options are kinda neat but I probably won't use them much. They are primarily for low light situations. Crosshairs are thin which is what I was looking for in a new scope. Magnification really helps my aging eyes too. Overall I am pleased with this purchase. After about 150 shots, scope is holding zero perfectly. At 40-50 ft I am within a dime and stacking some. Shooting Crossman pointed pellets and do have an occasional flier but that is to be expected. Clarity is very good and I am well pleased with this purchase.
