Huge capacity, making it easy to prepare large quantities of things like pulled pork or soup for freezing/canning. Occasionally, I make homecooked food for the dogs, so it will be great for that, or when tomato season is in full swing, it should be great for making large quantities of sauce for canning. Haven't tried the little sidekick warmer yet, but I'm sure it will come in handy eventually.

Great deal perfect size!

This slow cooker is the perfect size! I purchased it because our last one was way too small for a family of four. I cooked my first whole chicken in it and it was delicious! Cook time was perfect and the heat was very even. Can't wait to use the bonus dip warmer.

This works so well and I've literally been using nearly none stop since it showed up. I have a large family and this holds all I need it to and more. Very well priced and a amazing product.

Good quality

I've had a the crock pot brand for 27yrs. It however was not the liftout easy-to-clean model.(hence the age). So I wanted the newer model and a bigger one since my family has grown to 5 now. I Love it and I guess I'll get lots of years with this one too. The recipe book was great along with the little dipper. I'm looking forward to using the lil dipper for sauces etc. By-the-way the 27yr old pot was still working, I donated it to a charity.

Really big!

Enormous crockpot! Doesnt fit in my sink which makes it hard to clean but it worked great! Yes the outside got hot but what do you expect? Only used it once so far but really satisfied!

Wonderful Crockpot

Love the size! I know a slow cooker is suppose to cook "slow" but this one cooks slow faster, like a few hours faster. I cook my turnkey in a slow cooker and with this one I can fit a bigger one this year. The only thing I don't like is that the lid is noisy and rattles. If there were a rubber gasket or seal around the edge it would be nice.

Can't go wrong with this.

Bought this for my daughter who is 24 and living in her first apartment after college. She loves it and has made several dishes and dips so far. No complaints other than it was a challenge for her to clean. I told her to use a crock pot liner next time and clean up is a breeze.

LOVE MY CROCKPOTS

If I had to have one cooking appliance in my house only, it would be a Crock Pot. I have really appreciated it while waiting for my new oven to be installed for 3 weeks. I have learned to fry, bake and roast, along with the standard slow cooking. The small Crock that comes with this guy is perfect for cheese dips and things like that.

Good quality and really nice Slow Cooker

I had bought a 3 qt Crock Pot from Amazon and really love it and now I have a nice big 8 qt one too for making larger "batches" of soup or lamb shanks or whatever. Very good quality and does a really good job. I don't need any gadgets and to os a plain "High, Low, Warm and Off" manual type. I've had other slow cookers in the past and this one is an especially nice one.
