Thin, but very durable... easy to install.
I installed this to replace an 8-year-old pond liner that had finally developed leaks. Rather than replace the old liner, I added some additional sand to the bottom of the space and installed this liner on top. This is somewhat thinner than my old liner, but the mesh reinforcement is obvious and it seemed very durable. I tried tearing a piece with my hands, and that proved very difficult. I expect that this will last for some time, but I don't expect any liner product to endure the elements and extremes of Missouri forever. My decorative pond is back in action, and I'm happy.

Deals with stress well so far!
No leaks so far! I am really stressing the no tear aspect of this liner. If you see my images, my pond is 1 foot above ground and 1.5 feet below. This places a lot of stress on the liner since it's held up with screws. Currently this post holds close to 280 gallons. It could hold more if I used it's dimensions better but the pond is big enough for me.

thick, solid liner
a 115 pound dog landed in our backyard pond in which we had this liner. it pretty much freaked out and did whatever it could to get out... which meant scratching the hoo-haa out of the liner. It was an older dog so its claws were long (low exercise). The liner held just fine. that meant a lot to us.

TotalPond, Pond Skin review 5 Stars
Very durable and quite easy to install. Punctual delivery. My water garden pond is not your typically designed pond. Do not install this liner with out first utilizing an under liner for entire pond and "play sand" for pond bed(s). My 600 gallon, 5.5ft. deep (lowest depth) water pond has multi level beds/tiers below the water level. It is triangular and is much larger than what it appears to be in the photo I have provided. DO NOT place stones, rocks and boulders that have very rough or sharp edges directly against the liner within the pond beneath intended top water levels. Smooth /soft stones/objects (heavy or light) against liner only. Sharper stones/objects can be stacked (firmly) on top of smooth/soft stones if you are willing to take that risk. Do not wear shoes when and if it is necessary to stand on liner within pond during installation. If you plan on having fish in your pond, you should make sure that the dull side of liner is facing up in order for faster and more even growth of beneficial bacteria, especially if you do not intend on using stones within the interior of pond. I made this mistake and installed liner with glossy side up, and I definitely was not going to do it all over again and waste everything, so guess what I had to do, very carefully...

Reasonably priced liner for a small pool.
This liner was used to "re-line" a pre-formed small pool that was too built in to simply pull out and replace. There are no fish in it, nor any foot traffic. Essentially all it has to do is hold water, and it does the job. The material is thin and does not "stretch" like some of the high-quality, rubber pond liners in the other larger pools. We live in subtropical South Florida, so how it would stand up in cold weather, I can't say. Bottom line was I didn't need a large piece of liner and the price was right.

Good for a variety of uses.
Very good quality for a variety of applications. I have used it as a vapor barrier under concrete slabs and it is tough stuff. Very resistant to punctures or tears. It is also heavy enough to stay in place with considerable wind. I will get more for use as tarps over things I want to stay dry. Very useful. A bit expensive but it works and lasts. Stands up to being walked on very well. If I needed a quick temporary roof this is what I would pick.

Great liner for backyard ponds.
Great liner for any backyard pond installation. Nice and big. Fit my pond perfectly. It's been in for just over a year now and still holding strong. I have 10 turtles and some fish in my pond and they seem to like it. It was easy to work with. Not too stiff or wrinkled. It's nice and pliable and easy to unfold and lay in the pond. This was a replacement for an old pond liner that had developed holes after about 9 years. We laid an old piece of carpet in the hole first for cushioning, then I cleaned, dried and patched the old liner and laid this new liner over the top of it all. We're all happy with this liner so far.

Functions as Described
Installed and functional. I placed mine over a similar-sized tarp for protection against stones since I did not use sand as recommended. My pond is about 2.5 ft deep.

Great liner - needed it fast and pond repaired - what more can you ask!
Sprung a leak in our (20 year old) pond liner so ordered this in a hurry so we could replace before the really cold weather came in. The package says it will fit a pond 13 x 20 feet with enough plastic to also go up 19 inches on all sides. Ours pond is about 11 feet across and 15 feet long. The liner fit perfectly with room to spare. Fish are back in their home and happy.

This is a really good deal for the money!
I used this for a round pond so I have some left over for my new pond in the front yard. The material is thick enough to be strong, but thin enough to be able to manipulate pretty easy. I was able to fold the material in clean pleats to use around my pond. I folded some leftover material and cut it to size to put pot blocks on and avoid tearing the main liner. This is a really good deal for the money!
