Bought this for my mom
I bought this for my mom and she loves it and bakes bread every week and tries out new recipes too. Bought it for Christmas and she hasn't bought bread since she received it. She is very happy with it. She's 80 years young. : )

Love it (and love amazon's return/replace policy)
I purchased one of theses on the holiday deal run...it arrived and on first use it sounded like it was going to eat it self (motor belt was slipping)...but made good bread. I contacted manufacturer who said that was not a good thing ...so i contacted Amazon and returned (and they cross shipped another unit). The new unit is quiet and makes great bread. It is fun and easy to use. I look forward to learning many new recipes.

So far so good!
First time user/ buyer of a bread machine. Very easy to use, just follow instructions and recipe as they tell you. My very first loaf of Gluten free bread came out amazing!! I will make a few adjustments to the recipe to suit my taste but I am impressed with this machine. Add ingredients, set the bread type, push start!

Great Bread Maker
This is a great bread maker if you do not plan to make gluten free bread. The cost to make gluten free bread is much more expensive than buying gluten free bread at the store. If you are making regular bread or other baked goods, it does a fantastic job. Order the separate “how to” book if you have never used a bread maker before.

Great for a non-baker and non-cook
I bought this bread maker because I was told to try gluten free bread. I have never baked bread before I don't use the oven I don't even cook. But I am using this bread maker! I am actually surprised because I don't use the other appliances very much. But, I am using this bread maker!!!

A five star Bread machine.
Its a inexpensive bread machine with a cycle for gluten free, which is easy to use. Have made two loaves and they have come out perfect. If you must have a easy way to make bread because of a gluten free diet, this is a nice machine. The ease of use, quality of the machine have simplified my diet. In two plus hours you have fresh bread.

Oster Expressbake — Very happy so far!
My experience thus far (just over a week with the machine) is consistent with what others have said in other, more detailed reviews: This machine offers great value for the price, and the bread it is making in very good (I have made four loaves so far), but I do worry about durability — in particular the plastic lid is a bit loose, and feels flimsy. Unlike some others, I have yet to experience any movement of the machine while it is working, and the motor does not seem to be taxed by the effort of kneading even the two pound loaves. One other note: We had a bread machine about 15 years ago, and stopped using it because it was just too loud. The Oster is significntly quieter than that first machine, but I am not sure I would want it running in the middle of the night (perhaps I a just a light sleeper!).

Best Bread Machine I've owned, express bake is phenominal! Loving it!
My mom has had the lower model of this machine for a long time, and loved it. We decided to buy a bread machine for her visit with us this year and purchased this newer model for our house. Well let's just say it's a hit! She likes to use her bread machine just for the kneading part and then rises her own bread and bakes the old fashioned way. Yes, it turns out great that way. We don't like to fuss with it that much, so we use the regular and the expressbake features (100% done in the bread machine). The express bake is so good, we are not sure why we want to even bake bread any other way. It's done in only 58 minutes, is tall and perfectly cooked. Some quick bakes are not so good, but this one is. It comes with two of the paddles, so you can wash one and have another clean and ready to go. It cleans easily and you only have to wait 20 min from loaf to making a new loaf. It makes 1lb, 1.5lb and 2lb loaves, so lots of versatility with this machine too. Anyway, we are loving it, and now have a new machine at both of our houses, so we highly recommend this machine if you are in the market for one.

I definitely recommend that you buy this!
I have used the Basic, Whole Wheat, Sweet, and Quick Cycles so far and I really love this machine. It does everything it says and is easy to use.

Sometimes you have to read around the directions.....
I read soooo many reviews before I decided to buy this model and I am very happy with it. Only problem is the first time I used it I "placed the container" into the bread maker as instructed and the thing made so much noise I thought the neighbors would call the police!! Husband summoned and he pushed the pan into place--problem solved. SO if you buy this model, make sure you firmly push the interior container in place before starting!! Other than that no complaints!
