Awesome
I purchased this to be the "basket" of a gift basket being raffled off. It was so amazing I wished I would have been able to keep it. The 29-inch fire pit was huge. The additional items included seemed to be well made as well. Obviously, if you were going to transport it after use, you would have to plan ahead to make sure the pit was cooled down enough to be able to pull the pins in the legs and to put it in the carrying case for transport without burning the case.

Perfect for what we wanted!
While it's lightly made and the 'cooking grill' is only chrome plated thin wire, this fire pit is perfect for traveling in our 5th wheel. Tried it out last night in our back yard and roasted some marshmallows on it. I'm certain we'll have to be careful with it, but that's OK.

Awesome fire pit!
I bought this fire pit to take with me on my RV trips. First of all, it folds up nicely inside a nylon bag that holds everything. The legs fold out and lock for a sturdy feel. It has a nice screen top to contain any sparks. It is made to also use as a grill but I don't plan on cooking on it. I just want to use it for ambiance reasons. It was easy to clean after use. This is a nice portable fire pit that can be used as a grill or just to sit around and enjoy the flames of a nice fire.

Travel sized
A lot of the campgrounds I find myself at require above ground fires, so a simple fire ring won't work. This is the perfect above ground fire pit for people who take small vehicles out camping. It's not the most stable, but that's because the legs fold in for travel. Comes with a bottom grate for under the fire, a grill grate for over the fire, a screen for covering the fire and a lifter for the screen. I've added 2 expandable hot dog forks to the bag so I don't forget them when I go camping. Once I am done camping it packs up into the bag easily so you don't have to worry about getting any residual ash and muck everywhere. If you are really space restricted you may want to find a smaller version.

Great for the price
To help give an idea of the size of this, it comes in a box that looks like you are getting a flat screen tv. The legs have a slight wobble but with weight it is fine. The convince of the bag is awesome because it keeps all of the mess in a contained area. The does have a rod for covering the fire, but I have yet to use it for cooking so I don't close it. Great for festivals, fairs, and car camping. You can get 10 chairs around this and still feel the heat.

Fantastic fire pit and a resonablet price
I love this fire pit, easy to assemble, easy to carry, it is light weight and easy to clean, I enjoy it very much!! This is a great portable fire pit. The legs are attached and easily fold in so putting it away (comes with a carrying zip bag with handle) is a breeze. Had family (around 20 people) over during Thanksgiving, we made a campfire to warm 10-15 people around it. Used it for roasting marshmallows for the kiddos while the adult enjoy to fire drinking wine - it was wonderful and give good lighting, without too much smoke. Would recommend this folding firepit to anyone looking for something affordable, easy to assemble, easy to clean & put away

Excellent
My family has enjoyed this fire pit several times in the last few weeks since I've received it. The only thing I really care about is it stays intact, which it has. I haven't had any issues with a flimsy bottom, though the legs are really wobbly. I've used the cooking rack several times. It's not the best quality and slightly warped the first time I used it. Otherwise a wonderful fire pit that has brought my family together!

Good for light use on a camping trip
This fire pit is perfect for light use on a camping trip. It folds down pretty thin and has its own carrying bag. We bought a bag of piñon wood from Lowe’s that is goes in a chimineas fire pit so the logs are 6-7 inches long. A regular size fire log might be a bit too big. This is for a small campfire not a bonfire more about ambiance I think.

Sturdy and very useable
This is a great fire pit (and a bbq pit) -- it's very easy to set up (my 10 year old child did it) and it's easy to use. It makes for wonderful roasted marshmallows and hot dogs on our patio, and it folds for easy storage and transportation. I anticipate we'll use it quite a lot on the camping trips, because even though there are fire pits where we camp, there is no good cooking surface, and this fire pit has a rack that can be used for cooking kebabs or setting other cast iron cookware on top.

Great for campfire where ground flames are not allowed, and great for cooking.
Amazing product. we used it over the weekend to: A: make a low fire to cook amazing blueberry cobbler in a cast iron pot surrounded by hot coals. and B: Make a tall-ish campfire to warm the 10-12 people around it, and give good lighting, without too much smoke. we used it with hardwood firewood and not with anything you would use to light a grill; just matches, tinder and wood. YMMV. Full disclosure: The amazing cobbler may have biased my opinion.
