We love it!
We ordered this Hotdog cooker after quite a bit of research. We planned on using it for holidays and barbeque parties. The product arrived on a very timely basis and everything was in working order and the box was well packaged. Everything was included. We did do a "trial run" about a week before our party to make sure everything was in working order. The machine worked without a hitch and our sample of hot dogs were ready very quickly. Everything was included in the packaging as promised. On the 4th of July the kids loved the hotdog maker and was a big hit. Children ages 4-5 years old were able to help themselves. The doors opened and closed properly. I 'm not sure why some reviews didn't like the doors. We did not have any of those problems. We opted not to use the hotdog bun steamer just because we didn't have time to monitor it. Though I'm sure if you had someone to stand by the bun steamer and manage it, it would be fine. ( or common sense instructions for your guests would work also) I think the design of the piece is worth the extra money for it did add a lot of pizzazz at our party and everyone raved about the idea. We also added some pre-cooked brats to the mix for people who wanted those. The machine is very easy to use and was very easy to put together. We also ordered some hotdog baskets, basket liners and hotdog holders. This was also a big hit to add these extra details. On the day of the party, we plugged the machine in and added the hotdogs and went to the parade. After the parade, the hotdogs were perfectly cooked and we turned the machine on low the rest of the afternoon. This worked great since many of our guests stopped in at different times. We didn't have to do a thing and all of our guests really enjoyed the "self serve" aspect of our homemade hot dog stand!

Awesome
There is a lot of bad reviews regarding leakage and missing parts. Mine came in on time. Faster than I expected actually. First thing I did was pour water in the holding tank to see if it leaked and everything was good to go. They did a very good job with sealing off all of the joints with silicon and tack welds. This Machine is by far the best hot dog steamer for the price that I could find. A must buy if your searching the market

Works as promised.
Unit heated well, clean up was easy. Don't put the buns in too early or leave them in, they will get soggy. Over all, a great option that takes up a small area. We use it at church activities and Scouting activities regularly. High recommended!

Great product!
Great product, works as expected! Easy to assemble, use, and clean. Pour in 2 gallons of distilled water, waited 40 minutes, then put in about 60 hot dogs (Nathans on one side, BallPark on the other), waited 30 minutes, put in the buns, waited 10 minutes and ready! Got lots of compliments on both, the machine, and how good the dogs and the buns tasted. The buns were NOT soggy. I only wish I could've put more buns in at once - there was room for about 30 buns. I had a crock-pot with chili next to it and another one with rico cheese - people really loved it!

Hot dogs and buns galore!
Update!! (June 2017)--I use this in my bar every night. Steams dogs well. I drain and clean daily and only use distilled water. Now, about the buns, I don't keep buns in it. When a customer orders a dog, I add the bun and 5 minutes it's ready. Now if the bar is doing well I will keep buns in there but I wouldn't recommend over 30 minutes. After hotdogs are to internal temperature (160F/71C) back the temperature down and just keep steamer on low setting. Then add buns. Buns last longer. If we have a slow night I'll test how long a bun can stay warm without getting soggy and update post. I love this machine, easy to clean. Only one complaint, why in the heck didn't it come with a drain attachment so I can connect a hose to drain fitting. Have buy separate at hardware store. Original post This thing is awesome!! Heats fast and makes awesome dogs!! Easy to assemble and clean. I use it in my bar. Very happy. Package needs tape as well as the staples. Bottom dropped out when I picked it up.

Excellent Hotdog steamer
We have had our Hotdog Hut for 16 months and used it in our concession trailer for 12 months out of that time. Just love it! We do not stack it full of hotdogs so it does not take as long to cook. The reason I am writing is that I was in really impressed with the Paragon company. I call last Wed to get a thermostat and the lady told me it would be in the mail that afternoon free. I did not have to wait on line forever or talk to a recording. One person that did not ask twenty questions. I will defiantly buy their products again.

My 2016 addition to my toys. Popcorn Machine, Cotton Candy Machine, Icecream maker, ice shaver and now the hotdog hut!!!
My hotdogs hut arrived, I'm so excited. I tried it out after my daughter put it together. All I have to say is, " why didn't I purchase this a long time ago."It made it faster than I assumed it would. The savory taste of not just the hotdogs but the chicken and turkey polish, we precooked, then we put it in the hut. The taste was very much the same as the hotdogs stand downtown chicago. I'm so glad I read the reviews before I purchased it. I used someone's idea about the extra rack you place in so the buns don't get soggy. Good idea, Woot woot!

( Can't find them) Looks great, went together easily
Just received my hot dog steamer. I bought a factory refurbished, supposedly it had some scratches at the factory. ( Can't find them) Looks great, went together easily. The size is perfect for my concession wagon. I read all the yeas and nays on this item. The only problem that most people complained about was the soggy buns. Here is how to solve it. Put a stainless bakers rack or a toaster oven rack on the bun tray. Keep the buns off the tray where moisture collects. I used a shelf from one of my toaster ovens when I set this up for a test run. Works perfect. Buns are hot not soggy. I had a hot dog steamer that was 40 years old, it had a rack that came with it, hence old technology still works. Hope this helps. THANKS PARAGON. THANKS AMAZON.
