Have had this on my door for a few months now. It was easy to follow the directions for installation and I had it on in less than 30 minutes. We have had all sorts of weather and it hasn't faded or changed colors with all of the hands touching it. It sits in direct sunlight in the evenings. The level has not failed and hasn't become difficult to press. I have an automated deadbolt so didn't use that part. The bronze matched the deadbolt kit perfectly for my door. There were some priced much higher and I'm glad I stayed with a brand I trust. Good value.

I purchase this to replace a worn entry door set I installed in the early 90’s. It’s a very nice door set and sells on Amazon for the price of a deadbolt set alone. (Even though it’s less than half the price of Kwikset’s ’s “signature“ line, the assemblies are solid and work fluidly). I’m glad I purchased this set, it’s works great, and classes up the front door. It’s also worth noting that I screwed up programming the smart lock while trying to turn the keyway 180 degrees (in order to place the slot on the bottom of the lock). There was no instructions for this in the printed directions, and I ended up calling Kwikset who told me how that was done, then taking it to Lowe’s where they re-keyed it at no charge (even though I purchased it on Amazon)

I love this door set . I originally saw this at a hardware store for $40 more . I knew I would be able to find it on amazon and I did at a great price. The set up was easy and I love the key reset feature . Each reset key is different so you don't have to worry about anyone else being able to do so. True to color and a great purchase .

This was an amazing deal when I bought it, but even at regular price I would say that this kit is totally worth it. Replaced a similar set on my front door from the house that I imagine must be over 15+ years. The thumb paddle would stick most of the time and even when fully depressed, the latch wouldn't retract all the way rendering the door un-openable. The installation for this was easy, albeit the instructions could be a bit more user friendly in terms of directions given. I didn't use it much other than to check whether I needed some of the additional items that were in the package, but I can see some users that would have trouble with it. Once installed, the ability to rekey to my existing house key within 10 seconds was absolutely worth the money. Even though I plan to make a new lighter ash door to replace the existing red double doors in the front, the venetian bronze is as close to a "this goes with everything" look as possible. Would buy this again in another 10+ years if needed.

The smartkey feature makes rekeying these super easy compared to having to change out thumblers, etc, on conventional locks. I did run into one hiccup while rekeying one of the deadbolts, but a quick search on youtube and 10 minutes later it had all the locks rekeyed. These look and operate great as well. Amazon has these half price compared to the local hardware store. The kits comes with two sets of machine screws in different lengths in case your door is thick. I had no issues installing several of these on my doors. I think anyone who knows how to use a screwdriver could figure out how to install these by reading the instructions or watching a how-to video online. The smartkey feature is easy but can be tricky if you don't do it right. I'd recommend watching a youtube video of someone rekeying one and it'll make it a breeze once you see how simple it is. Pros: Looks great Operate smoothly Easy to install Smartkey feature makes rekeying a breeze Cons: None to speak of

I'm mindful of all the negative reviews, so this will be updated as needed. Initial installation was easy. The bolt lengths are easily adjustable without special tools. In terms of installation bolt lengths, I just used the old hardware to select the correct lengths. The smartkey feature is pretty amazing. It takes seconds to re-key the deadbolt to your existing key. We just had the exterior of our house painted, hence the new lockset, and I did have to repaint some parts of the door and drill a new hole for the handle, but that's not the lockset's fault. The inside of the handle that uses the thumb lever does not seem to be overbuilt... however, the action is so smooth and effortless that it may be just fine. I installed new weatherstripping around the door, so the door does close a bit tight now, but we are not struggling with the latching mechanism at all. It was less than half the price of the same lockset at Lowe's here on Amazon.

After comparing the prices at our local home improvement store, we purchased this door handle from Amazon (at a much lower price) to replace an outdated brass one on our front door. The new Kwikset SmartKey method allows for easily rekeying the lock. Great quality, good installation instructions, nice fit and finish.

I got this handle set to match my Kwikset Kevo (1st Gen) Touch-to-Open Bluetooth Smart Lock in Venetian Bronze deadbolt that is the same Venetian Bronze color. As such, I didn't need to use the deadbolt that came with it, but the door handles sold separately are even more expensive than this combo set. The handle looks great with my Kevo and makes the door look much nicer. It fit perfectly in the existing holes of the previous door handle. It opens and closes well. Not much more you can ask for in a door handle :-)

Replaced the original door hardware on an old double front door with this lock set. Was able to easily and quickly re-key it to match the new locking doorknobs I installed throughout the rest of the house. It worked perfectly - I only need to patch a small hole from the original lower section of the old handle set. Next step will be to do the inactive side of the door with the matching interior/exterior inactive sets.

We needed to replace a very faded and worn door latch set, since our front door faces full direct sun for most of the day. This was a super easy installation that literally took minutes. The holes lined up perfectly with our old set, however, the plate at the top itself was much smaller, so left a bare area of paint on the door. We can repaint, but I wish the top plate was a bit larger. I'm seeing complaints here about it breaking, and while we've not had it very long, I'm wondering how securely their handle is mounted. If it wiggles, the odds of breaking are much greater. In our case, it installed so tightly, there is zero wiggle. I will definitely update if it breaks. It looks attractive, it works well. We only use the handle part, as we already had a keypad deadbolt. At this price, unless it breaks in the next few years, I am happy with the purchase.
