Orbit 1 Port Manifold is a Great Addition to My Existing Setup

Ordered this from Timers Plus on Amazon, it got to me within a week. I was hoping sooner, but it still got to me in the given shipping time; I'm a little spoiled by Amazon Prime which this wasn't available in. I added 1 port manifold to my 3 piece Orbit pre-assembled manifold to make it 4 valves, and put it on an Orbit Valve Box Base which fits perfectly. There's not much to it, but I did need one additional part (Heavy Duty Swivel Double Union Coupler), but other than that no additional parts since I had the end cap from my 3 piece manifold to put on the end, and the valve I got had to manifold adapters already (bought a 2 piece manifold so I had an extra valve); however, if you are adding a stand alone valve, you'll need some additional adapters. I am very happy with this, as well as the entire pre-assembled Orbit valve manifold, this was a great addition.

Orbit Sprinkler System Manifold +parts.

I imagine this would be the perfect solution for installing a sprinkler system. My experience was renovating a ten zone system installed the the previous home owner. If you are installing in multi-zones of 2-3 valves you can buy the entire manifold ready to install, less PVC cement. I purchased 3 valve manifolds and then called Orbit to figure out the parts needed to add additional valves which I ordered through Amazon. Orbit was very helpful and even e-mailed me the part numbers I needed. I also ordered the Orbit underground boxes and box bottoms which are made to hold these manifolds. Once installation is complete repairs to the system like replacing a malfunctioning valve is simply hand loosen/tighten the joints. No cutting, fitting, glueing involved. This is the third sprinkler system I've owned/maintained; wish I had this from the first one.
