Bought this with the bebop Big Bubble Pro Wand, and worked wonderfully. We made enough for a big batch for a birthday party, then made more for a camping trip, and I still have enough left for another go-around. We followed the directions exactly, using Dawn dish soap, and it worked perfect! We needed to entertain a wide age of kids, and this was perfect. The 7 and 8 year olds could easily make the bubbles, while the younger ones had fun chasing them. Made 5 ft bubbles easily, and some bigger!

This stuff is amazing. Based on what I've read here and elsewhere, I used the blue Dawn Professional dish soap. In a large bucket, I measured out 2 gallons of hot water, 4 tablespoons of this bubble mix, and 2 cups of the dish soap. I had to stir it up a bit, which made a ton of bubbles and got a bit messy, but I was working in my sink, so no biggie. It took two batches to fill up the bottom of a 48" diameter kiddie pool. We used a bunch of large bubble wands and rings and the bubbles were incredible: large, long-lasting, and beautiful. And we were outside! I would definitely recommend this stuff to anyone interested.

I am a true bubble lover. I have invested in numerous bubble guns, 1 nice bubble blowing machine, Wands, pans, more Dawn dish soap than is required for washing dishes and carry bubbles in my purse- the magic touchable kind. Feeling stressed? Take a break and blow some bubbles. It's hard to be mad about work when you're surrounded by bubbles. I bought a bottle of this solution some time ago and finally had a chance to utilize over the Easter weekend. It is fantastic! Not sure what all is in it but it seems to work as well as if not better than plain glycerin? I'm not certain but I do like the fact it is a powder and does no seem to lose its magic over time as other bubble stuff will do- fickle bubble stuff! This bottle has already made us 4 awesome gallons of bubbles! When I say awesome- I mean TERRIFIC. So happy with how many bubbles I get, how long the bubbles last and the size of the bubbles. Alas, I did not get a 12 foot bubble though we all tried. We did get very large bubbles though. Multiple bubbles the size of basketballs plus. We live on over an acre and our neighbors enjoyed the bubbles too as they drifted on over. We had the bubble machine going and a large pan in the yard with several large wands so everyone could participate. The neighbors came over and adults as well as children were able to make bubbles and it was ... really cool. I will buy this product again! Easy to use- I took an empty gallon milk jug, filled it about half way with almost hot water, added 2 tablespoons of this special bubble product, mixed, added a cup of Dawn (the good stuff used to help wildlife injured in oil spills- Dawn is the best) mixed gently and then filled my jug the rest of the way. Can be used immediately but the next day is even better. Very enjoyable, easy.

Mixed this up with blue Dawn and hot water and one gallon lasted all afternoon with several different people using three wands. Everyone enjoyed making and watching the huge, colorful bubbles float around the lake. This worked, was easy to use and will be packed to head off with us for our beach vacation. Kids and adults love making these bubbles. Huge hit! Update: This is worth every penny!! Took it on our beach vacation and it was honestly like a kid magnet for boys and girls alike. Amazed at how often they were out on the deck making and chasing bubbles. When we returned we had a family picnic planned and the kids made sure I was bringing the bubbles. A gallon goes along way and I definitely got the 5.4 gallons out of this small bottle of mix so it's not that pricey in the long run plus it works as advertised!!!

Like others have said ... it doesn't dissolve very easily. It's kind of like making gelatin. I recommend preparing the powder like you would gelatin (maybe it IS gelatin). Bring a portion of the water to boiling and just sprinkle it in as you mix. Then pour in with the rest of the water and dish soap. This formula uses 1/2 the soap as my home-made glycerin mix, and Big Bubbles is far superior. It's not even a contest!

This stuff is AWESOME!! If you follow the recipe and use hot tap water to help dissolve the solution it works perfectly. Letting it sit to dissolve also works. Originally, we used this with the Bubble Thing Big Bubble Wand. But, we now make our own. By using 2 wooden dowels (that the kids can decorate) with eyelet screws that hold cotton string with a washer as a weight on the bottom string, it's perfect. 8 ft plus bubbles that are easy for my 5 and 8 year old to do by themselves. This is so much fun, and one bottle is great for many days of fun! We have decided to make this our go to summer birthday gift using the DIY wand as a personal touch. Big hit!!

I was surprised to see all the negative reviews for this product. This will be my 3rd time purchasing this product (2 from Amazon). Maybe they’re not following directions correctly. This product has never failed me. It makes massive bubbles and even tiny ones if you manipulate the wand just right. The kids are amazed at the size of the bubbles. I agree it is messy and really slimy but the sheer joy that comes from my grandkids makes it worth it.

I made an entire 5 gallon bucket worth of bubbles that lasted an entire weekend of use. I used this for a community event, and ran a bubble machine for a long time using this solution and also had the kids using bubble toys all weekend long. It just takes dish soap and hot water along with this solution, but totally worth it. We had used plain dish soap and water prior, which kind of worked - but not nearly as well as when I included this in the mix also. Definitely worth the purchase, and will probably last most people for a very long time.
