Great overall size

The palette gives a nice space for mixing colors and I have not had any problems with it. Cleaning it can be a little extra work due to some sharp edging and the plastic stains with greens and blues. Overall, I am quite happy with it but will probably buy something I can close for travel and keep this one at home.

I love this tray, it seemed large at first but im glad i went with this one. So many wells to choose from and they are all a good size. The square wells ( near the small circles) have a slant bottom so the liquid can flow to one side. The other 4 square wells are deep and very helpful, i also like the large circles for mixing. Sturdy plastic construction can use for watercolor, acrylic or oil.

Great pallet, very big

This is a very big pallet. I like the various sizes of the wells. I use watercolor that comes in dropper bottles, and this is perfect for mixing, pushing, and dragging out various hues from your colors. The small wells are great for keeping your primary, unmixed colors. The slanted square well is great for dragging out lighter hues from a mixed color, and all the water pools to the bottom of the slate. The regular squares are good for your general mixing tasks. The large round wells are great for lots of water. I tend not to measure things before I buy them, so if you have a small art desk, be prepared for this to take up a lot of room.

great pallet, here's how I use each well.

This palette is very big, almost a little too big but I do enjoy the spacious Wells for mixing. I am a watercolor artist, so this is how I use the palette: I put my pure colors fresh out of the tube into the smallest circular Wells. The four flat Square Wells are good for mixing colors when you want them to stay a little bit separate from each other. The four large circular Wells are perfect for mixing colors when you want them to stay mixed together because they run down into the middle of the well. The circular Wells are also good for mixing watery washes. The sloped Square Wells are good for when you want a thicker mix at the top, and adding water to let the thinner mix run down the slope. probably a little too big for traveling with, but not much bigger than a 9 by 12 watercolor block, so It's not too bad. Overall an awesome pallet, and I'm very glad I got it! One reviewer recommended scrubbing the wells with the scrubby side of a sponge to rough them up, so that the paint will not bead. I think that's a good idea and I will try it. The plastic seems nice and heavy, and I did not notice any coating as one reviewer mentioned. The wells do stain a little, but it doesn't affect the next color so I don't mind. However, I think if I did scrub them with a scrubby sponge, they might stain even more than they do now. Overall a great palette, and I would purchase again. Awesome price too!

Great size and great price!

It definitely fits the size they say it is. I love the different sizes they have for the paints and different depths they are. It’s definitely a must have for painters:)

Sturdy and Spacious!

There is a lot of room for spreading and separating paint mixing. Cleanup is also very easy. Portability is not very good since it is fairly large for a standard back pack or an artist kit bag. It's recommended more for home use. For this price, it is a steal.

Lot of mixing wells!

It’s a good purchase for me. Though the only down fall is that it is not porcelain so it will stain very easily. Other than that the mixing trey is a decent size and plentiful in mixing wells!

Bigger than I thought, but not too big. Impressed.

It looks just like the pictures. It's way bigger than I thought it was going to be and I love it. I was afraid that it was going to stain because of my water coloring but I haven't had any problems with that so far. I would definitely recommend this. If not I'm sure you could find something like this at your local craft store but for the price and the size it is definitely worth it.
