After a mechanic told me that my A/C would need a $800 repair, I've drove my car for four years without it, sweating and baking each summer. But after reading a few reviews here, I decided to try Super Seal. My 2001 Subaru Forester had multiple leaks and it wouldn't take a charge for more than an hour. So, I am surprised to find that this A/C sealer really works. It's now a week later and the cabin cools quickly. If you suspect an O-ring leak is the source of your A/C's troubles, you owe it to yourself to try this product rather than bake in your car or spend $$$ to fix it. UPDATE: More than a month later and it still works.

I am an HVAC tech, and I wasn't sure if this product would work. After reading the reviews I decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad that I did. The can says it's for leaks that last a minimal of two weeks. My AC would only last a day before It would be flat again. It still fixed the issue!!! It has been nearly a month and the system is still charged. Awesome product!

My son and I are restoring a black and red 89 Iroc z. Cool-looking, but murder in the summer sun. The seller swore that the AC worked, but it had a leak, and he wasn't kidding. Fully charged, the AC worked great. But after bringing the charge up to mid-level with three 12-oz cans of replacement R134a, the system was down to near zero in one or two days. And it's 90+ here in Maryland with 70-95% humidity. And we're saving our pennies for good headers, not AC (yet). And in this weather with crazy humidity and sudden thunderstorms, opening the T-tops doesn't cut it. What to do, what to do............... So after reading the reviews, we tried this ID brand sealant. I wasn't hopeful, because our leak was major. But we hoped to limp by until cooler fall weather, and then do major repairs next spring. Three weeks later, the AC is still blasting out cold air and the charge level appears to be spot-on. I added this leak stop and then another three 12-oz cans of R-134a. IMPORTANT: If you have a can tap with a slash tip that punctures the top of an R134a can, it won't work with most leak-stop cans. So buy this one because it has the correct can tap, which uses a pin to push down a valve in the can. Eventually I'll have to buy a compressor kit with the dryer and piping, and also a vacuum pump. But for now, this stuff seems to have saved our keysters, allowing us to focus on more engine mods.

This stuff is amazing I paid over 2000 dollars to fix my ac still wasent fixed they were asking for more money and I saw this bought it and my ac works great now they were trying to get me to pay 800 more to take my dash off i said no your not getting anymore money out of me I already paid 2000 and still not fixed yaull ripping me off this stuff saved me I have problems and get real sick in heat and end up at hospital plus drive my grandkids all the time its been 100 here now thanks to this I have ac and me and my grandkids are ok now driving in this heat if you bought a new compresser tried to fix leaks and your ac still dont work try this it is great i have been telling everybody wh ask me about this Thanks so much!!!

Great stuff. Saved me a huge amount of money. Easy to use. I used A/C Pro Super Seal to recharge the AC in my 13 year old truck, back in June. I had tried another product a month earlier, but the Freon leaked out after only one day. As a last ditch effort, I tried the A/C Pro Super Seal after reading another user's review. Turns out A/C Pro Super Seal is as good as that other review said it would be. My AC has been working great for more than two months through high 90 degree temperatures. Well worth the money.

My a/c went out completely on my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500. Mechanic quoted me $950 to replace the evaporator where he said the leak was pretty extensive. Because you have to remove the entire dash to replace this $40.00 part, I figured what did I have to lose? I followed the instructions on this thinking that I had little to no chance of sealing a large leak. Well, it's been 3 weeks and this stuff filled the leak! I couldn't be more happy in spending $27 for this product. Just make sure you follow the instructions exactly and have refrigerant on hand to fill up after the leak seal is put into the a/c system. I can't guarantee this works for everyone, but it worked for me on a leak that would lose my entire a/c charge in under a day's time.

I was told my leak couldn't be fixed by any kind of seal and that I would have to buy a complete new condenser for over $600. I decided to give it a try and so far (knock on wood) my leak has stopped and my can of arctic freeze is still working

I was holding off from writing this review; I didn't want to jinx the success. Three week after using it and still going strong. Another reason for not writing a review you see, rating up products on Amazon tend to send up the price; but customers should also benefit from its use. This product works. The product information strongly suggest using it on leaks that last at least two weeks; my AC system leaked in three days. I was desperate; I identified leaks on the evaporator and dryer. I was also told the compressor shaft seal had a leak. Compressors are very expensive not to mention the installation cost, and to vacuum, gas and oil $$$$$$$$. I fixed the leak on the evaporator and dryer (small money), but the system still leaked from the compressor shaft seal. What makes this product exceptional is its use on metal, unlike other AC seals. After identifying the sole leak was from the compressor seal, I then used the super seal. It helps to know exactly where the leak is for larger leaks to achieve success.

This stuff is amazing. I have a 2014 GMC Sierra that took a rock to the condenser causing a leak. My truck was needing a charge about every 12-13 days. I had tried other sealers to no avail. I called a good buddy of mine who is a H-VAC tech because he put a sealer in my home a/c two years ago when my evaporator coil was leaking. I asked him if he knew of a similar product for auto a/c systems. He recommended Super seal and all I can say is wow. It has been 21 days since I used the product. So today I hooked up the gauges, and system is still full. Whatever loss of Freon there might have been is negligible. I would recommend this product to anyone with a small leak.

product leaked out as I was screwing on hose. I wasn't able to get any into the A/C low pressure take off. Also ruined the blacktop on my driveway. made a huge raised orange stain. Hose must have been defective. I am asking for a replacement can. We will see if they do it or not. Update: Amazon sent me another can within a couple of days of my request. Thank you Amazon. My rating has gone from 1 star to 5 stars. Product didn't leak this time and appears to have fixed my A/C. Good product. Also my wife scrubbed the area where the product had leaked over the driveway with Dawn detergent and now the stain has been greatly minimized.
