I'm giving it 5 stars and will wait until after the next rain or road trip to see if it retains them. I'm not a professional auto detailer but I can tell you that after a thorough hand wash, clay bar and dry with a white cloth, my truck was as clean as it was going to get. As soon as I started applying the wax, I could see, feel and hear the difference in the way the applicator pad glided over the truck. Easy on, easy off... no discoloration of plastic or rubber trim. It's a new truck but the panels I waxed looked so much more lustrous next to the panel waiting to be waxed that I was very impressed. I didn't wear gloves and my hands and towels cleaned up easily. Near the end, the hood was in direct sun but the product went on smoothly and wiped off easily. I think I'll skip the second coat... for an "A" type such as myself that is quite an endorsement. The product is not as viscous as I anticipated but don't let that fool you. This bottle should last for a good long time.

I have always been a carnauba wax kind of guy, so I wasn't sure what to expect with this. I can tell you it has exceeded my expectations. With carnauba I typically have to wax every few months to keep the water beading up; this has lasted six months without need for a re-do. The shine looks just as good on my dark blue truck as well. Plus, it is a lot easier to remove than carnauba. This is definitely my new go-to!

I have never really been a mequiar's fan until the tech2 wax came out. yes... about 15 years ago, but that wax changed my mind. just like tech 2 but better this wax will give you a legitimate year long coat, although I like my water to bead excessively and I use this was every 2-3 months, I used to use it every weekend on 4 of my cars but I'm older and lazier now. seriously you wont be disappointed with this product, it competes with a product my friend bought for $300, but he is a professional detailer so he can spend that money all he wants. this works for me!

The product works as advertised. Complaints about the product are due to operator error. I called the company about my concerns they were very helpful. They stated the primary reason people have trouble is because people use to much of the product at a time. I followed their instructions and the product applied, removed excess, buffed by hand perfectly leaving a great shine. This is by far the best wax I have used on any of my cars. I am applying it about every 4 months though I am sure it can go longer between applications.

Meguiars has been my go to car care product brand since I was using the Gold Class on my 1988 Mustang and people would ask me what I used. Meguiars Ultimate Liquid Wax is amazing. My method of car finish care does not consist of this liquid wax alone. My car is a Black 2015 Dodge Charger that gets regular water flow brush washings 3-5 times a week and occasional soap and water washings. After most of these washings I use wax and dry. Many times I use wax, cleaner wax, polish and detail. In spite of the poor Dodge orange peel paint finish I have been able to maintain a contaminant free finish. I think this is very important. At this time the Dodge has a deep glass like finish. In my opinion without a properly prepped finish Ultimate Liquid wax won't give the best results. This is a great product and will bring anyones car finish to the next level. I would recommend this to a friend.

I have been a Meguiar's fan for years, and was disappointed when they discontinued the Tec Wax. However, when I discovered the Ultimate Wax the disappointment faded right away. I have a 1990 Buick Riviera that I have had for sometime. I used the Ultimate liquid wax on it last week to prepare it for a car shows I applied it with a five inch random orbital waxer with a microfiber pad, then removed it with ten inch random orbital buffer with a microfiber pad. In all the years I have owned this car, it has never looked so good! Easy to put on, and just as easy to remove. I have eighty plus year old neighbors who have started using it with the same results. Would recommend this wax to anyone. One body shop I talked to, and a detailer at a car dealership both said it was as good as it gets! I would have to agree with them!!

I LOVE this wax!!! My Pride Runs Deep (Submarine reference) and that also applies to my car-care. I have used a large variety of waxes in my life to which some werechallenging to remove...this wax is by far the easiest wax to apply and remove (not counting a spray wax). The instructions are clear about applying a thin layer and I recommend following the instructions in this case. Once a slight haze develops, wipe and buff. Super easy to use!! LOVE the shine!!! Longevity; After a few weeks, I finally took my car to the Automated Car Wash and found my smooth touch had dissipated but was still beading the water and the shine was still strong. Because I enjoy a detailed and shiny car, I use the Meguiars Ultimate Detailer in-between waxes....that helps with keeping the smooth to the touch and adds a nice layer to easily to remove road crime later....plus the added shine is nice! Application; My preference is to use my hands rather than power...I have read other reviews stating it works well using a Power Polisher...for me, I can attest this wax is great without using power. Easy on....easy and shiny off! My car is White with lots of black plastic accents....I used this stuff on those areas too with a fantastic result. Removing the wax was just as easy as on the paint. It also left the black looking real nice and smooth to the touch. After driving and dusting off later....the dirty plastic areas was super easy to clean off. using the Detailer spray works great on this stuff too!! Recommendations; Do NOT cover too much area at one time. Do the entire hood and go back and remove-buff, then move onto another area. I have discovered, the hard way....I applied a thin layer to an area, got distracted by my kids then tried to remove the wax and had to use a few spritz of water to help get it off. The results were not good so I reapplied to that area and removed thereafter before it dried completely and all was well. Just do medium size areas, remove-buff then move on....don't wait long or it will dry too much which turns into a real pain to remove. If you feel more is better, then go over the same area again with a second layer after removing the first. So far, my experience has shown me a single coat is all I need as anything more did not shine more nor did it last any longer after the car wash. I totally recommend this wax....my car was purchased new and strongly feel this will keep it looking great!

I just reordered. I use a Dual Action Polisher with a "Black" Lake Country Finishing Pad. I'm so impressed with the longevity and mirror like, showroom quality of this wax that I wont use anything else. Easy on easy off. Set the polisher at 3,800 RPM. No swirls, no scratches, just perfect on new paint. My car has a tri coat, white platinum finish and it just pops, especially at night. You won't find this wax any cheaper than here on AMAZON. This wax is awesome for a metal flake paint. I have gotten so many compliments. This is a no brainer for a new car that your proud of.

I had no idea that claying my car would be so easy and took hardly anytime. What a difference it makes! My car is smooth as butter and the shine...wow the shine. Looks better than how I drove it off the lot. I took the suggestion on the Meguiar's Clay kit box, and also bought the Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax to complete the wow-ness. I would highly recommend this to a friend, and will buy again.

I've owned a detail shop for over 25 years. I have tried many products over the years and have found the polymer products work the best and last the longest. I use Zaino as my main finish protectant (customers just like to here the name). But did give Ultimate Wax a try. I always try new products on my own cars before any customers. I waxed all 3 of my auto's during the same weekend, 1 with Zaino's 1 with Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax and the 3rd with Ultimate wax. As far as I can see the NXT and the Ultimate went on and off easier, left as deep a shine as the Zaino's and stood up to the eliments longer than Zaino's. Ultimate actually kept beading about 2 weeks longer than NXT. Keep in mind to really keep a cars finish protected a car should be waxed every 8 weeks or so, nothing lasts for 6 months or more. My choice is now Meg's Ultimate wax, for the price and durability it can't be beat. Keep in mind 1 bottle can probably do a medium size car at least 6 times.
