Very happy with this. Super simple and sturdy construction. Great price. I love how my Kinesis Freestle 2 ergonomic keyboard straddles the stand’s legs so I can have an ergonomic setup away from home. I’m considering buying another one for my office because thing is just a really nicely executed product. There’s rubber in every place that touches your computer to protect it, and there’s rubber along the entire bottom of the legs (not just at the corners) to keep it from sliding on your desk. Two thumbs way up. I considered the “newer model of this item” and some other variations on a laptop stand but ultimately chose this one because it didn’t have any fancy moving parts or collapsing mechanisms that make me question its sturdiness. Glad I went this route for my needs at least. If you want SUPER fast assembly/disassembly, then I guess something else might work better for you because this does take a few minutes to screw the rods in and out, but like I said, I prefer something solid like this that takes a little longer to assemble.

Ummm I am exceeding its rec. weight capacity; I use it to stand up my MPC Ren which is about 15 pounds... maybe 20... whatever, the Ren is heavy, pretty sure its heavier than the 8 pound capacity of this stand BUT the stand is taking the punishment without signs of failing.. I have had it holding the MPC REN without a break for months now... and even if it failed today I would buy it again tomorrow.

Upon rebuilding my recording studio and adding new gear, I realised my desk space wouldn't meet what I had (an x does not equal y scenario), so I had to find a solution. I knew that there were stands for laptops so I could maximise the amount of vertical space that I had and not just focus on the horizontal space, and this is what brought me here. I looked around to what could fit my budget and needs, then this item gleamed like a bright light. I read the other reviews, looked over the pictures that were posted, and thought about it for a couple of days. I decided to pull the trigger and clicked add to cart once all my new gear came in, which confirmed my need for these stands. They arrived not but a half hour ago, I went ahead and inspected, and assembled them to great delight. I thought they would be made of less solid structure and the foam-rubber padding would have been damaged, but the quality of these stands far exceed my expectations. They've already been setup on my desk and they provide everything I needed. Now, final question, would I recommend these? Absolutely. These are fantastic and the price cannot be beaten, especially for this kind of quality.

I bought this stand last minute for a party that I had to DJ for. It was my first time DJing so I do not have top of the line equipment. This is from an amateur point of view. When I first started practicing the fact that I had to look down at the laptop in order to see what's going on in Serato DJ was annoying. It also would hurt my neck/back. A simple google search/common sense said to get a laptop stand but not just any stand would work. I would need to have a stand that had the adjustability of making it higher or lower, very sturdy, and build quality is good for the price. This product has all of the things I needed. I regret not taking pictures of the me DJing but I was way too nervous. This stand actually improved my DJing that night. My laptop was right in front of me and did not have to bend down at all to see my screen. It arrived in my house in a heavy box, in which I was not expecting, which gave me the first impression that this product quality is good so far. I opened it up and there is the equipment with a sheet of instructions. Very straight forward and you shouldn't be confused how to set it up. Within 3 minutes I had it set up and this stand would not tip over at all, which assures me that my laptop is safe on it. Although the heigh adjustability is annoying to do but it takes a couple minutes at most to just do it. But overall the building process was quite easy. However, I'm also a tech geek who uses a tablet, laptop, and a computer simultaneously. The way how I have this stand set up on my desk is to the left of me on the lowest height. This allows me to multi-task my work e-mail / stream watching while doing doing more work on my main computer in front of me. This was a 2 for 1 deal that I do not regret buying. Build Quality: 10/10 Installation: 9/10 Adjustability: 8/10 Sturdiness: 10/10 Would I recommend this to others? Wether for DJing or person use? Definitely.

I received the item on time and was pleased with my purchase. The stand is easy to configure and very sturdy for my 15" MacBook. If you are shopping on a budget this is a great buy. I would recommend to someone.

I am not a DJ but, hey, you don't need to be to make use of this stand. The Pyle-Pro stand worked great for my 2006 15" Macbook Pro that I use in my electronics workshop. It puts it right where I need it for coding, pushing updates to my Pi and Arduinos and looking up references on the web. The stand was packaged in plastic bags in the box, and didn't really have much for instructions. However, between the pictures on the box, and the drop-dead-simple process of putting this thing together, you really don't need them. I had it together in about five minutes. Great stand that can be moved. There are no holes to anchor it to a desk, so you would need to bolt it down somehow it that were important, but I have found this unit to be quite sturdy in my use.

Everything I wanted it to be. I bought it to elevate laptop and slide my MPK49 controller underneath at home in my studio. Was a perfect fit. I was worried because I read a review after buying that the person could not slide controller underneath due to the metal edging on feet, but I did not have this problem.

I got this laptop stand because of the price, I wasn't expecting much as it's much cheaper than any of the others on Amazon. I was pleasantly surprised at the durability and ease of putting it together. From un-boxing to placing the laptop on it was about 3-5 minutes and it works great. It came with some rubber pads to place on the bottom and on the top rails so it doesn't slide around and keeps your laptop from sliding around. I placed it on top of a glass table and it grips nicely and doesn't move around. I can grab my laptop off the stand and put it back on quickly and it's study enough that I don't worry about it handling the weight.

Pyle Portable Adjustable Laptop Stand - Table Monitor or Computer Desk Workstation Riser: I wasn't expecting much when I ordered it.. but I really like this product a lot! - I hadn't really decided if I was going to use it with my laptop in my music studio or for some other use. After setting it up, which was simple, I tried it with my laptop but found that I wasn't going to work for my needs. I didn't want to return or not use it so I found that it worked perfectly for my smaller analog mixer. I then "borrowed" a video monitor type shelf-stand (Amazon) from my spouse and put it underneath the laptop stand, which gave me two more options/spots to put some of my other outboard effects processors, (like a rack) Works great! ................ I would recommend! ******Tip: I assembled the Pyle stand in the opposite way as shown in the seller's picture with the feet facing outward instead of inward. Basically, it added about 1 3/4" to each side of the stand, fit the width of my mixer better and it feels just as stable as before - Bonus for me (and you?!)*

No, I'm not a DJ. I'm just a standing desk aficionado. I bought this sturdy sucker for use at my standing desk-- to raise my laptop up to eye level. Solid steel construction means this stand is well-weighted and stays put. Foam padding protects your computer. It is exactly what I needed. Adjusting the height requires some effort, so once you find an appropriate height, you'll probably want to keep it there. But excellent value and excellent product.
