I am constantly working with wood and metal, so I needed a pair of pants that can hold up because a pair of jeans only last me about 2-3 weeks before they are shot. Not only do these well outlast jeans, they don't get nearly as dirty or grungy looking. I was drilling some holes in some wooden stakes last weekend when I slipped and ran the drill bit into my leg. The pants twisted up but did not tear, and there was only few threads got pulled out of the material. I literally put the drill down and went inside and ordered two more pairs. Had I been wearing jeans I know I would have run that bit into my thigh. These things are tough. I wear 31x32, I'm 5'10 and 160lbs and these fit fantastic. Great Pants.

Great quality, excellent stitching. Soft but sturdy material. You can't ask for more. Love them, I just wish they added cargo pockets, but even now it's the best work pants I've had. I compered them to Wranglers , and as you can see on the picture, Wranglers of the same size one inch shorter( Wranglers are of very poor quality as well as sizing isn't true) . So I would definitely recommend to buy Carhartt. Very nice pockets as well.

It ticks me off that every company models pants on skinny little guys. I'm 6' tall, barrel-chested, and weigh 240 pounds. I'm not morbidly obese, but I'm not exactly "angular". These pants fit well, and don't spend all day falling off me (I don't have much of a butt, either. :-/ ). They seem well-made, and the material is soft. I don't work in the trades any more, but we don't wear suits at my workplace, either. I hope these last like the Carhartts of old.

i found these serendipitously looking for work pants with pockets on both sides, these are hands down the most comfortable pants i have ever had,, they are like super soft,, almost like lounge pants , feel like velour , soooo comfy,, beats the hell out of work jeans or those tough and rough cotton duck,, im telling you buy these and you will never want to wear jeans again,,, they are awesome and look really good too. i have the green and dark coffee, i like the dark coffee better. think i will try some blue ones now.. im ordering more... my jeans can sit in the closet . o, im all about the comfort, they are so much warmer than jeans to me also. but not hot, just feel like you could sleep in them , hell ive fell asleep in the recliner with them all ready, dont understand why more people havent heard of them, if you like functional comfortable and tough ,, these will be all you want to wear. i just ordered more so i dont have to work in anything else.. color me spoiled.

These Carhartts are top notch ... very comfortable, looks sharp and well made. Actually better than a 5-star rating in my book. Why? 1. Fit is spot on and very comfortable. I typically wear a 33/30, however, Carhartts run somewhat small and the 34/30's I got fit just as I expected - like a 33. 2. Well constructed... triple stitched in the areas that count and an overall sturdy feel 3. Looks sharp ... got these in black and the overall style / cut of these pants looks great. 4. Versatile ... these are easily everyday / any occasion pants (especially in black). Wear them to work, the office, with a tee shirt, or even as casual dress pants. They really fit the bill whether it's laid back attire or somewhat dressed up. 5. It's not easy finding a good pair of reasonably priced black pants that is not a lint magnet ... these Carhartts are great in this regard, no lint magnet. Overall, a great pair of pants. .. will buy again. Thumbs up, Carhartt!

These pants are very nice, I like the fit. I am 5'11", 175 Lbs and the 34W/32L size fits even though I normally wear a 32-33 waist. The length seems consistent with most other pants but the waist does seem to run a bit small. The overall fit is nice and loose, not baggy, just the way I like my pants to fit. Not as thick or "heavy" as typical jeans but not overly thin either. Kind of in the middle. I prefer thin and these are somewhat thin but I have thinner pants and would actually be fine if these were a bit thinner but that's just me. They can be worn with just about anything, even a sport coat for a very semi-formal or business casual gathering. They also look great with a t-shirt, tank or a nicely pressed Tommy Bahama shirt. The pant legs and crotch area are comfortably loose (not baggy) and they are wide enough at the bottom that they don't bunch up around your ankles. I hate that! People like that? These will "drape" over your shoes unlike the overly popular, annoying and ridiculous looking "skinny" pants that are so common nowadays. They ARE a bit "cargo-ish" but kind of tastefully so and NOT overloaded with goofy looking pockets like typical (juvenile) cargo pants. They seem a bit more suited for the "untucked shirt look" but I haven't tried them with a tucked shirt and a sport coat but I suspect it would look just fine with the right choice of shirt (and shoes)! I like the fit and the look and my wife approved and she usually disapproves of my attire selections. Also, the twill material is nice and "cottony" and is NOT a fuzz and pet hair magnet and I like that this material DOES NOT attract static cling like some pants do. I will probably buy a couple of other colors and these will be my "go to" casual pants for a couple of years until something else comes along and tickles my fancy.

I've bought several pairs of these Twill Carhartt men's pants for my husband. We started with one pair and he loved them so I've been slowly buying these in the different colors. My husband works at a Military base and needs pants that not only look nice but can also hold up to extensive wear and tear. We've tried may types of pants and jeans over the years and nothing work and looked exactly as he wanted until these. He's a big guy, 6'4", 250 lbs and built stocky so finding pants that fit aren't an easy thing for him. He laughs when I tell him this but this are such a slimming pant on him! They are also a softer material with a relaxed fit which makes them move really nice for him. But because they are Carhartt they are holding up amazingly! The first pair I bought him 4 months ago still look just a good as the pair I bought last month, highly impressed with the quality and all of the colors are great! This is a pant he can wear on a physical work day with boots, work shirts, etc. yet he can also pair it with a nice dress shirt on days when he has meetings or even for going out after work, very versatile!! Would absolutely recommend these pants for guys that are looking for a high quality, nice looking pant.

These pants are comfortable and not too stiff. My husband is a working electrician and loves the fit and the room that allows him to squat and climb ladders, crawl through attics or crawl spaces. He is impressed with the leg pocket that fits his cell phone perfectly and keeps it safe and available. The color is a good change from blue jeans too.

I used to buy Wrangler cargo pants for work, but in construction they wear out relatively quickly. So, I tried a pair of Carhartt's thick canvas pants. I have no doubt that they would last for 8 million years, but they're so thick that lifting your leg is challenging! These twill pants, however, are perfect! They're light, durable and they look good enough to wear outside of work! I've bought three pairs thus far and I plan to buy more. There are pockets on both legs that hold my smartphone on one side, and on the other a flashlight, marker, pencil, and non-contact voltage tester. They are great pants!

Finally I can work in comfort. These pants are the answer to my problems. Other Carhart pants seemed to heavy, big, bulky, and just uncomfortable. These guys are the answer to my problem. I have learned that if I am going to be on my knees for even a little bit, even to pray, I need knee pads or they will wear holes in the knees real fast. No complaints at all about these. They fit like they should. Kinda tight in the morning before they stretch out, and then I'm not fighting them all day long like Wranglers or other Carhart pants.
