I love this. This is easy to install. You WILL need an adjustable plumbing wrench (i got ome for around 3.50 from walmart) to seurity fix it. It was for my safety and to make sure that it doesnt fall off. Easy to replace the filter replacements.

I bought this system to replace an old one, and it works great. The filter on it lasts a very long time, about 4 months or so. I use this system everyday, and I was surprised at how long it took to actually see the red spot to change the filter out. I would say that if anyone is looking for a good way to save some money with filtered water, this is the way. If you have water bottles that you can fill up and put in the frig, it's much better and much cheaper than buying bottles of water, (at least for my family). It is a very sleek slim design and it comes with all the different pieces for different types of faucets. I would recommend this product to any family or person that drinks a lot of water on a daily basis.

Our water never tasted this great for a long time. I might get another Brita filter, the one that looks like a jug with faucet, so that I can have two levels of filter, if that makes sense. The only downside is I had a hard time putting this on our faucet. Took me hours to get it right. What worked for us is we screwed the adapter on the filter/aerator thing and when that’s attached already, we screwed it on to the main faucet. Hope this helps for those who also had a hard time.

Update: 04/17/2017 The filter on and off Knob/switch finally broke. I called the Brita consumer affairs department and they promptly sent me a brand new complete filter system free of charge. That is what I call real customer service. Very satisfied. Original five star rating still holds. Original Review: I have been a satisfied Brita user for years. Fits and complement standard home Tap faucets really well. Easy to install and refill. The filter that comes with it lasts a long time but the refills not as much and I'm not sure why. Refill level indicator works.

The water in the city where I live tastes pleasant, but we were seeing more and more rust build up from our apartment pipes. We live in a cheap apartment so we can't really do anything about that... this was the perfect answer. It's kinda tricky to get on our type of faucet but the included adapters did work. The filter seems to be lasting quite a while, we've had it for a month and it has barely budged.

Had to replace old Brita filter. I selected the chrome filter to match the chrome faucet. Had trouble to fit the filter at first--water shot right up! After figuring it out and pushing the filter securely, it works fine. I love the new knob--so much easier than the old one.

Have been using the filter system for over a year now and am very pleased with the ability of the filter to remove the taste and smell of my tap water. The tap water isn't bad, just seems to be over-chlorinated sometimes or fishy smelling sometimes. The taste of my tap water is okay, but with the filter, the water is as good as any bottled water in taste, clarity and smell. I use it a lot to refill water bottles I keep in the refrigerator and get about 3 months use from each filter. I find the filter system to be well worth the cost.

Love the faucet filter system. We used to use a Brita filter pitcher, but it was annoying filling it a bit, letting it filter, then filling it more and more. This allows us to get clean water from our faucet without filling a pitcher first. We bought a 12 pack of water from the dollar store, and when we drink the rest of a bottle, we fill it up with the Brita faucet filter and put it back in the fridge to chill. The downsides of this Brita faucet filter system is that, when you switch it to normal faucet ouput (like for washing dishes) it lowers your regular faucet water pressure. This isn't a big downside for us, since we use a dishwashing machine mostly. And even when washing by hand, the water pressure is still plenty strong enough to wash dishes, just not as strong as without the filter attached. Extra bonus; the system comes with multiple adapters and O-rings for attaching to your faucet. I thought I was going to have to make a trip to the hardware store for an adapter before I checked the rest of the box and noticed an adapter in the bottom. I put it on and it works great. No leaks. Worth the buy.

When the product first arrived I actually bruised a knuckle trying to get the filter to "lock" in place. Eventually I did but it was a real struggle. Cut to ---- time to change the filter. The entire product just broke at the faucet-ring area when trying to get a new filer to lock in place. That said - I called Brita and have to say that a) They have impeccable customer service (are sending me out a brand new filter system, free of charge) and were very concerned abut the issues I'd experienced with the locking mechanism. It's rare to feel grateful that you made a customer service call, but I am a big fan of great service and will be a Brita brand loyalist now.

It did take some finagling but eventually I got this to work. It's been on now for 4 months and the filter cartridge has not popped off. I just had to really jam it on there with more pressure than you want to put on a piece of plastic. It's slower than the tap, this may be because our water pressure is meh and it does take pressure to filter stuff. Glad I bought it, Atlanta water is safe but tastes gross and this makes it taste great.
