These are so much fun to use in my small yard. I am 75 yrs old and delighted with this procuct after many years doing everything with tools that are not 'powered.' I use the grass cutters to shape up two topiaries I have and trimmed up a 50 ft. long, 7 ft. high hedge of arborvitae with the trimmers. It holds a charge to get the job done although I had to charge it twice for the arborvitae. Highly recommed this procuct for your smaller jobs around the yard.

I've used these for years. The battery doesn't last long enough for me to finish my work so I have two. They both suffered the same problem at the same time. The button on the side quit engaging so they both quit working at the same time. I definitely got my money's worth from them. So, I bought two new ones. I can't imagine keeping up my yard work without these handy battery operated trimmers. I bought replacement blades for them since they can't be sharpened. It's simple to replace the blades. Great tool.

I have used the larger B&D trimmers in my other homes but moved to a place where I have just a few small bushes. So I gave the big one away and bought this one. It works fine. Battery lasts long enough for me; when I bring it in I charge it and it's ready for the next trimming. I don't think that this would be good for a person who has a lot of large bushes to trim. I have a few newly planted bushes that I want to keep short and this does the trick.

This is my second of these tools. I wore the first ones out. They can be sharpened as you would sharper any blade tool, but over time you will lose some sharp quality, and over a long time the battery will not recharge the tool completely. Still and all I have worn them out and had no problem with spending the money for a new one. The tool I use the most the the smaller one, and use it to trim grass close to rounded rocks and path areas as well as smaller, less tough hedges. I love to garden a good tool is a treasure. This was first given to me as a Christmas present. When I wore that one out I got my own. Likely one of the most fun gifts this gardener ever got.

I was amazed the first time I used it to trim some overgrown bushes at how long the charge lasted! With 2 heads to choose from, It covers all of my trimming needs! Very happy with it! Might purchase one for my daughter, who borrowed it, and was very happy with it also!

I love it .... I use it for my father's grave and grandmother's grave. Ive manage to keep it descent thanks to this machine here its awesome not to big not to small good power and easy to handle. My mom loved it too she enjoyed the machine and was able to manage changing blades u must have to experience what im saying. I could imagine if u like gardening i personally don't for that matter and enjoyed it. Imagine how much fun would u have if u do like gardening.

I wanted a small trimmer for small jobs. This does a great job for small trim jobs. The only downside is that it does not have a separate battery pack so once the battery is discharged you can't switch to another battery. I have a larger trimmer for major trimming (hedges) so the battery is not an issue for me.

This unit will serve as the replacement for my current shears, The old one is still working great but after 5 years I think I could drop death any moment. The new unit has a lighter safety switch. Other than that everything is the same including battery capacity (40 min of running time). I have found that using one and keeping one on charge will keep me busy for a whole day, just switch them every 15 minutes or so. This way we don't have to discharge the battery completely and recharging it to a usable level is also fast. This also helps to prolong the battery life. I think.

This is my third set. Really easy to use and does a great job.

I have a small yard with a lot of plants, shrubs and grass. I use both blades - have had no issues. Love the tool. Use it daily to take old blossoms of my plants. Great for removing suckers around my trees. Keeping grass away from my edging around my flower beds.
