Since I bought this, I see many lightweight hand trucks. Some look more heavy duty, but this one is fine for the things I need to move. I use it in the house and the garage. I move things like boxes filled with books and heavy grocery items, like sodas. I like that I can fold it up small and carry it in my car. I've also used it for bags of garden dirt and compost.

I recently bought this in preparation for my wedding; I figured it'd be handy to have for hauling various items apartment to the wedding site and back. I was a little hesitant based on some of the reviews, but I thought it suited my needs perfectly. So, I wanted to write a review based on specifically what I used it for. If this sounds like what you'd use it for, I highly recommend it. The biggest complaint I read in most reviews is that it can't actually hold 150 lbs. I used it to haul all of our wine, which I took in four cases at a time. I weighed a case on my bathroom scale, and it came to 38.9 lbs, which means I was hauling just under 120 lbs total each load. I would not feel comfortable hauling more than that regularly, but really if you need to haul more than 120 lbs. on a daily basis don't buy a folding cart. I'd use it tasks like moving large boxes, trash cans, or debris containers around the yard. I wouldn't try to use this for moving large equipment, appliances, etc. The other complaint I read is that the construction feels cheap and can easily break. While there are some plastic components, they are pretty solid to the touch, and stood up to those 120 lb. loads I mentioned above. Sure, I was a little nervous at first, but with a little bit of use I grew confident in the construction. I wouldn't throw it around too much, but with care it should last a long time Overall, this is a handy, compact cart that can handle a decent sized load. If you're someone who needs to regularly haul 150 lbs, pass this up and look for a solid, non-folding cart. If you are someone who every now-and-then needs to haul around 100 lbs and you want to keep it in your closet or car without it taking much space, this is the perfect option for you. EDIT: Recently, I got a little over-confident and tried to haul a bunch of books down a flight of stairs. One of the wheels ended up breaking on the last stair. Now, keep in mind that I was hauling more than the advertised 150 lbs, and I was being lazy and using it in a reckless way, so I blame it on myself. It lasted over a year with a healthy amount of use, so I'm buying another.

I used this dolly for moving - boxes, furniture, and the like, probably never exceeding 100 lbs. Because of the low, low price ($27.99 when I bought it), my expectations were similarly low. My standard for rating this dolly was whether or not it broke while I was using it. And it did not break. Hence the five stars. That being said, it does feel incredibly cheap and shoddy, so if you have used really nice, high-end dollies in the past, this one will not remind you of those. But if you need an inexpensive dolly which you aren't planning to use often, this one is that. I would recommend treating it as gently as possible, since a lot of it is plastic.

very helpful when im doing heavy deliveries. i believe it even can handle more than 150lbs as i am certain i put more than that on there. this is a must have if you travel or carry heavy items or parcels almost daily. excellent product

This is a handy little guy! It folds up to a small, easy to store, flat packet that can stand by itself. I used this when I was packing for a move, so I did a lot of moving full boxes to the staging area in the garage. I took it easy on loading it up, but it really helped getting 1 heavy box or two or more lighter boxes from point A to point B. I know that I was able to accomplish a lot more since my back and legs weren't having to lug boxes around. It took small step downs, but if the step was more than 4 inches tall, it needed assistance to take the step without losing the load. I will use this around the house and to finish unpacking. I was glad I ordered this one for delivery instead of picking up the ones in the local store, which were not as well reviewed.

This little gadget is great, I used it to move a portable air condition (still in box weighing 67 lb), a kitchen table and chair set ( still in box a little over 70 lbs) down my porch steps, across a 15-20 ft section of yard (mucky because of melting snow) and across a gravel driveway to get them into the basement for storage for when I move. Obviously being female I took 1 item at a time and my new friend did great. Although I wish the hand extension was longer it was sturdy enough to help me get it done. It folds up super compact for storage which is an added bonus.

I had to replace my previous unit due to a fall that damaged the compression system of the handle. I kept the original one at the office and carry this one in my catmr for my often visits to FedEx and similar shiping providers. Works beautifully and folds down for easy transport

Works great! Quality construction, easily folds and unfolds, and holds up to 150 pounds. Friends who see it want to know where to get one for themselves. I ordered it for my wife to use in her business. She needed to load and unload a cart. The carts were falling apart and we had to replace them all the time. The hand truck takes all the rolling punishment and handles it easily. My wife loves it and uses it for other things too.

I live in the first four basement unit that's a little distance from where I have to park my car. Sometimes I have boxes or heavy bags to transport. This was cheap and reasonable price so I decided to give it a try. I am Very happy with this purchase. I used it right away on a very heavy box that arrived on my porch from Amazon. I live to the rear of the house so it can be difficult transporting very heavy items that usually need to people to lift. I don't always have an additional person to help me carry things from the front to the house to the back, I don't always want to have to ask my landlord or neighbor to come and help me either. Well this little pony does the trick. I also love that I can fold the wheels in and push the handle down so that it can store very easily in my coat closet or in the trunk of my car or the backseat. No more struggling to carry heavy boxes on my own! Love this.

This product is a life saver for the single girl. I was given one as a gift a few years ago and I use it ALL THE TIME. Want to rearrange your living room but don't want to wait for someone to come help? No problem! This thing helps me move stuff around without ruining the floor or my back. I bought this one for a friend who was buying a house and while it might not be the most exciting house-warming present, it's been great for those days when she wants to move stuff to a few different places and see what works. I like to bring it to the flea market and leave it in my car for when I find that super heavy, but absolutely awesome piece of furniture. And it folds up to practically nothing.
