Bought 2 of these after sorting thru all the pro & con reviews & deciding to chance buying, & couldn't be happier with them! They arrived yesterday in 25º weather so were reading 56º from being in delivery truck I guess. Took them a while to get up to our house temp but once they did, they both matched the reading our our thermostat, so that was the first happy dance. So I put them side-by-side to snap a photo to show here. As you can see, both are reading same temp & humidity, and accurate. Day 2 & both continue to match the thermostat readings. After testing & finding they are accurate, I moved one to our bdrm & left other in living area. Both are placed a distance away from the humidifiers & it's nice to see that our small table top warm misters are doing a good job across the room. I's interesting to watch the humidity level drop when the water runs out & not refilled them right away. Doesn't take much to drop from 40% to 25% during these recent brutally cold & dry weeks. We're barely getting up to 40% but we began at around 10%. Nice to finally have a device to tell us that the humidity level truly is as the readings on the humidifiers are always way off.

ordered the 2 pack Digital Hygrometer and Thermometer after installing battery and letting units stabilize to room for a few hours they both displayed identical temperatures and humidity. occasionally one would be off a degree but then would go back to both displaying identical information. be aware battery comes in a little baggie but is also tightly wrapped in clear plastic hard to notice at first and units didn't work until I noticed the clear plastic covering + - terminals on battery. have not compared accuracy with a different gauge so cant say if displaying true temps but both display same temp so it suites my needs.

We moved to japan and humidity is so bad we have to buy dehumidifier. We don’t know which room needs it more or if we need to have them on all the time. With this, it helps us know when we need to have the dehumidifiers on so we can save money and just keeps us in the know instead of guessing. I love it. We bought two and I’m buying 3 more to have in every room.

Since moving into an RV, I've learned the importance of humidity levels, especially since I was not paying much attention to it, and ended up with some nasty mold buildup. So, got a couple of these for my 28-foot trailer - extremely simple to set up and use. They have both a tiny plastic stand and a magnet on the back, so one meter is sitting on my night stand in the bedroom, the other is stuck to the oven door. Readout is clear, easy to read. Hopefully these will help me keep any humidity problems at bay.

Following a crisis with one of those awful gauges that stick to the side of the tank (it fell off and my ball python got his head stuck on the pad :( it was awful). I was advised to try to these for maintaining the proper humidity and temp inside my python's tank and let me just say, THESE ARE AWESOME! Affordable, accurate, and not a danger to my pet! Save yourself some tears and panic and throw those sticky gauges out -- this is the way to go!!

Not worth the 5 dollar increase from the 6.89 i paid. Now nearly $12.00. But The magnetic backing is very cool. It keeps accurate temperature within approximately a degree as the thermometer reads only on positive numbers + . Also i like the humidity reading feature. The humidity feature will come in very handy during our summer months which can be tropical like in our are especially in July and August. It was also a great deal when i ordered the $ was 6.89 now the price jumped to $11.89 it isn't worth the nearly 12 $ price.

I have several of these to keep track of temperature and humidity conditions in different rooms and they work very well, reading consistently when compared to each other. Magnetic back makes it easy to stick onto things like the fridge or just set it on a table. The trend indicator and min max displays are useful to show the last 24 hours and which way the readings are going from the prior reading. It was instrumental in identifying the drawbacks of using my Whynter portable air conditioner, where the humidity actually goes up when I use it rather than going down, which is how normal window air conditioners work. Long battery life and stood up to accidental drops to the floor with no issues.

We purchased this handy device for our 1926 radiant heat, no central a/c home after a particularly tough summer with high humidity that wrecked havoc on our plaster walls. My husband has become extremely sensitive to the changes in humidity within the home and decided he wanted a readout that we could test in each of the rooms. This device is extremely useful because it can easily be moved from one room to the next, and it gives an extremely accurate reading for not only the temperature but also the humidity level. We recently had a heating/cooling expert come out and give us a better understanding of what to do with the information that we're deriving from the device, as well as tips for our homes heating system. Terrific price, very nice and clear readout, and battery life seems nice and long - so far this has exceeded our expectations!

I had an earlier version of this, the 00613, which worked just fine for over four years until the cat decided to fling it off the counter onto a tile floor, which cracked the LCD screen. It still worked, but only half of the display was readable. This new version is almost identical, but fixes some of the design issues in the older model, which had a separate easel back for using on a table, that also had the magnet strip for placing on a refrigerator or other metal surface. This movable piece came out of its socket fairly easily and was a regular if minor source of frustration. The new model has a slightly wider base that allows it to stand up by itself, but has a gentle enough taper that it can be attached to a vertical plane with the magnet, too. The battery door is bigger too, and the button to change temperature scales is located inside the compartment, meaning that you can't accidentally switch from F to C or vice versa now. It feels a little more robust overall, although I won't be taking chances leaving it out on the counter where the cat can get to it again.

We start most of our garden plants indoors because spring weather is so unpredictable here in the high desert you can easily get an overnight freeze when the lows are predicated to be in the forties. Doing so means the plants will need a little heat at times… especially when they are in normally unheated room or even in another building. These thermometers are necessary to make sure the heater is keeping the proper temp range and can help keep it economical by delivering enough heat to keep the plants warm with some Mylar over them. I don’t like using the thermostats on heaters since they are pretty much unattended so we use timers instead so knowing the high and low is very helpful. At about 7-bucks I’m happy with it and the humidity portion is also nice in our small greenhouses. The magnets are good and we keep one of these in the kitchen, a room with the wood stove and in a utility room we don’t heat just to ensure our winter lows aren’t getting too low. No complaints… and the prices were right.
