if you want a PRO look to your install get these additional supplies BEFORE you start: AA battery operated solder unit, solder, black 3M electrical tape, couple of extra 10mm buts and bolts, 5meters of 16 gauge spare wire black and white, terminal connectors, strong pliers, anti-rust compound AND sand paper. I was working on an old trailer that was rusted and falling apart. Needed to sand the metal where the bolts go as these function as the grounds for for the lights. Soldered all connections except where a terminal connector was used to connect kit ground and also needed to drill a 10mm hole on door to trailer chassis to run a wire and established a strong ground. This kit is incredibly well thought-out. Only problem was that the wires run short and i barely had enough wire for the GREEN (passenger) tail-light. Dimensions of my trailer are 11 ft 8 IN by 7 ft.

I have a 5' x 10' Eagle UtilityTrailer that came with Peterson light kit that looks almost identical to this set. Since I had corrosion issues with almost every light contact inside each individual fixture, but good wire to each -I just replaced the 4 light units. It comes with plenty of wire to redo if needed and the 4 terminal male and female plug in with wire leads for tapping in to your vehicle/power source on the Male and the Female is already wired to the end of the wire harness.Mine aren't perfect,so at some point I may use them-sans harness---which appears to have "weathered" well so far. Everything looks to be good quality and the lights themselves are actually of a better electrical design that should not cause some of the problems I had with the Peterson set. These Rear lights also have 2 lead wires that I made up inside the fixture instead of the push-in connections on the originals---which was where the corrosion was worst.Time will tell. The lenses for the large rears are Identical/interchanchable to the Petersons also,so I have a couple of replacements if I ever crack/break one. *But these Blazers have Screw-on side markers front(yellow) and rear (red)as opposed to a pop-off lense on the old units.Same price @ wally world right now------------------but I went Prime . These should serve me well !

installed this kit yesterday - it was a breeze! Seems like an EXACT replacement for the wiring on my Lowes mesh, 5x8, drop gate trailer. Our trailer is from about 2004 ish....and the wiring just took a beating over the years of use....now it is 100% again and it took less than an hour...and some of that was I had to charge my silly cordless drill to drill a grounding screw hole. (my good corded drill is loaned out right now) the only thing I CHANGED - I didn't bother with the side marker lights. They aren't required in my state...and I just ran the wires from the tongue to the back directly. The clips worked great...the lights bolted right in where the old ones came out. The wires even had the same colors in the same places in the kit and with the original trailer wiring.

I opted for this submitrsible kight kit because I had a boat trailer that was missing one light and the other didnt work, so needed a light kit to make my trailer road legal. This kit was very easy to use and came with decent instructions. Rather than re-cable the trailer, I simply cut and reused the existing wiring which knoced at least aanhour off my time for install. Everything worked fine - just be asware that you must have the white ground wire connected directly to the metal frame of your trailer of the lights will not work properly or at all. once grounded, it worked like a charm. Cant comment on the submersible aspect as the trailer has raised posts for the lights that typicall dont go under when loading or unloading the boat.

Great replacement for old set of lights on my trailer that had corroded bulbs and bulb terminals. As a bonus, I even gained a pair of amber markers for the front of my trailer. I only had to drill new holes for the marker lamps. Installation was much easier thanks to completely color coded wires (old lights had red and black wires instead of matching yellow/green/brown wires). I used 3M heat shrink crimp connectors instead of the supplied wire nuts since that's an area of heavy water/snow spray. Can't beat this price - it's half the cost of what they're selling at Wal-Mart and Autozone.

Lights actually work really well. Little short for a 16’ trailer but at the price it’s hard to find anything wrong with them. The wire connectors aren’t the best and you have to expose the wire before crimping them down, but they work. The hanging system is great if you bust out your lights often like I do, makes swapping them easy.

Almost exact replacement for an old Peterson light kit on my trailer. I did not use the included 18 gauge wiring as I caught the harbor freight 14 gauge wire kit on sale for $4 the day before this arrived. Everything worked and happy with purchase.

I went out on a limb an got these because fish was biting and I needed to get my boat in the water. I had a 16ft trailer so there was adequate wiring and installation was easy The first time I put the trailer in the water I forgot to disconnect the lights. I ½ expected an electrical short based on other reviews I read elsewhere. Well I’ve used the trailer 4 more times after that and so far no issues. I will wait a few more weeks and check to see is there are any corrosion build up or shorted bulb or anything like that but so far, I love em. They do bring a new look to my old trailer. My only set back was finding a way to run the wiring to the trailer frame because it’s made out of rectangle tubing with no ledges or anything to attach the wiring clips. I’ll update this review in a couple of weeks after I inspect the lights.

This is a great light set for utility trailers. The lights are easy to mount, grounded to the frame through the mounting bolts, so one less wire to run, and are very bright. The side marker lights are also bright and, also being grounded through the mounting bolt, can be mounted on the fenders to let oncoming traffic see the width of the trailer at night. Everything you need is included; the lights, 28 feet of wiring harness, a vehicle pigtail in case you don't already have a 4-prong connector installed, clamps, splicers...even wire nuts. All you need to provide is a 1/4" drill bit to make the holes in the trailer frame for the mounting bolts. Each light has a little over four inches of lead wire so you can hide the splice/wire nut under the frame or where ever is best to keep it secure.

good quality and great price. used for Bar B que trailer. had everything in kit needed to redo your trailer. Includes those blue "scotch lock" piggy back connectors that just squeeze onto the existing wiring. I replaced these with red or blue butt connectors and taped them with high quality electricians tape. This is the issue that several other posters have complained about regarding connectors. the "scotch locks" are handy in an emergency but dont make a watertight or permanent connection.
