A must for any woman!

Great purchase for ladies looking to have some type of inconspicuous protection I bought this for my girlfriend who takes the metro to her university, and back, and consequently travels through some shadier areas on the way there. In fact, to get to the metro she walks through a short tunnel that is somewhat out of the way from the rest of the public so it makes her a bit nervous. However, now, with this pepper spray purchased, she feels more comfortable doing so. We tested the product soon after we received it and it reached the approximate 10 foot claimed range. The stream was powerful as advertised and not misty so I can verify that the blowback is minimal. In fact, we did not experience any when we tested it. Moreover, the lipstick-style cap adds an added level of protection against accidental discharge. While it is not a significant detail, it is a nice added feature and can potentially keep users from accidently emptying the pepper spray unintentionally. This is one of the better brand pepper sprays, being highly potent and using UV marking dye to identify any suspects that it was used on. THE BRAND TO BUY!

Perfect

Purchased after some off-leash dogs attacked me and my two leashed dogs. Needless to say, my hands were full. The pepper spray I had with me was in a snapped holder and I couldn’t get it out while holding the smaller dog in my arms. I needed an option that could be used one-handed when needed but which didn’t pose a risk of leaking/spraying while in my pocket. This lid stays firmly in place in a pocket or bag, but can easily be slid off with one hand. Great spray distance, too.

Purchased for my daughter who is away at school. She can discreetly carry and easily deploy if needed. ( I had her practice) I hope she never has to use it, but if so I expect it to work well. It gives me comfort knowing she has another level of defense, and that she knows how to use it and will use it if need be.

I love it!

IS bigger than what your typical lipstick would be but still passes as a cosmetic product. Looks more like a perfume or body mist canister. Once label is removed or covered (I used stickers because label does leave a sticky residue when trying to remove it) you really can't tell what it is.

I feel safer

As the number of attacks on women in parking lots continues to grow, and the number of home invasion robberies does likewise, I am feeling safer and more secure, having this by my side. It is a bit larger than any lipstick I have ever owned, but it looks so pretty and feminine, I don't think most criminals would recognize it for what it is in time to duck it. And it contains a dye to mark the criminal, which would assist the police in identifying the perpetrator. Having been sprayed years ago in a police academy training exercise, what I can promise is that no one who has ever had that kind of encounter, will seek to risk another such encounter.

IT WORKS...SERIOUSLY

So here's a story for you guys. My sister and I were too excited to receive this item in the mail, so we opened it and tried it immediately. When testing the product, my sister accidentally sprayed it in HER DIRECTION! Luckily, it landed on her hand rather than her eyes. However, it began to burn her skin right away and it continued to burn even after she washed, medicated, and iced her hand! OK, this disaster couldn't get any worse, right? Oh, but it did. Right after she sprayed herself, she handed me the bottle as she ran to wash her hands. I then cleaned the bottle and thoroughly washed my hands (several times). And for some reason that was FAR beyond me, I rubbed my eyes.........I QUICKLY GOT THE WORST BURNING SENSATION I HAVE EVER FELT. IT WAS LIKE SATAN HIMSELF WAS SCRATCHING MY EYELIDS OUT!! IT ALSO GOT ON MY FACE AND IT IS STILL BURNING!!!! So the entire point to this story is that it works far better than it needs to and it will burn the hell out of whoever deserves it. In case you guys were conceded of our condition, we're doing fine. Unfortunately, we had no eyedrops; however, we did have frozen ravioli to numb the pain :p

Every time I go to festivals/concerts, they confiscate my pepper spray. I get it. It's a "safety issue." But what's also a safety issue is me drunkenly walking back home in the dark down the streets of Nashville after the festival/concert is over. You know what they don't confiscate at festivals/concerts? Lipstick. ;)

Love the size and peace of mind

I have been looking for a pepper spray to keep in my purse for a long time. I have a small purse and so when I saw this pepper spray being described as the size of a lipstick I was all for it! It came very quickly, as Prime orders usually do, and it was packaged good. The first thing I noticed is that it is definitely not the size of a lip stick, it is bigger than a lipstick. Luckily though it is a good size to hold in the palm of your hand and it is still small enough to fit in my purse. One of my fears was that the cap would come loose and I'd end up with pepper spray in my purse. That is definitely not the case, it'd be hard for the cap to be removed unintentionally as it fits securely. I'd love to be able to review the product in action, but luckily I have not had to use it for its intended purpose. I do feel a lot more secure now having it with me. I work on a bad side of town and I go to school in another bad part of town and generally do not get to leave until after dark. This will help me feel a bit safer on the way to my car after work and/or school.

It Works !

First time buying pepper spray but this is a great one to begin with. I had seen on here some people complaining the spray barely came out when they needed it. I decided to test mine before I ever have to unfortunately use it for real. I sprayed some in the sink of my bathroom and boy, does it work. It not only shot out fast and in a straight line, it left a dye residue. Though the spray never touched my body, my eyes started to itch and water and my nose started to getting very itchy and burn. The fumes alone were intense so be careful when spraying at a possible threat. Try to cover your own face a bit and get away from the area or you might be affected in a negative way. But at least we know it works!

I decided to try this to see if it works so i opened a window in my house and aimed the container outside. i did not realize that i was holding it backwards and (you guessed it), accidentally sprayed towards my face. let me tell you; my eyes started burning like crazy! i had to wash my face immediately! this thing really does work folks. I like how compact this 'lipstick' is; I never leave home without it! Every girl should own one of these!
