the cutest pool for the cutest child...
always watch a child in a pool. this is an adorable pool but this is for babies that need to be watched. It is a sitting pool, not for swimming. It is an adorable first pool for a baby. It comes with the umbrella whichnbis a big plus to shade the baby.great item.

Sturdy pool.
I got this in 2011. So far it has held up to 6 summers of use by my 3 daughters, youngest are now 6 and 7. I love it. Before this, I had a series of inflatable pools, that always broke and caused tears and a lot of work to puff up. This is small, but sturdy. It doesn't leak. It's not big enough for lots of kids to sit in together. But my kids and their friends still enjoy it on the back deck, along with squirting the hose at eachother. I hesitated to buy this because it costs more than the inflatable ones, but it really has held up better. Glad I got it. We broke or maybe lost the umbrella a few years ago. Pool still fine without it. The umbrella was nice while it lasted, though bigger kids couldn't fit under it well.

Works for 1 year old
This was a birthday gift for my 1 year old. We keep it on our deck. It's a great size for him but would be a bit small for an older child or multiple children. The umbrella comes in handy from time to time but usually we don't use it. You could get the same function for less money with a basic kiddie pool but the small diameter and shallower depth of these one is nice for keeping on our deck.

Wish they made one for adults!
This little pool packs a big punch. I almost thought it might be too small, but it was a huge hit with our 16 month old daughter and our 3 year old niece. They were each able to get in and out of the pool on their own, and loved the little built-in seats. The umbrella pole doubles as a toy holder - a really genius idea. The girls had a blast playing with the toys, attaching and un-attaching them to the pole, pouring in water, etc. As the caretaker, I felt more secure with this pool than with other baby pools I have used. I liked the sturdiness of the plastic. Other plastic pools are thinner/flimsier and don't always hold up to the weight of a child who is trying to use the sides as support. This pool has no give. I also feel that inflatable pools can often be very slippery on the bottom, making it hard for a child to walk around inside of it. This pool is solid on the bottom, and even a little textured. It is much less likely for a little one to lose their footing. Finally, I appreciated the umbrella for the shade that it provided. It was fantastic that it came as part of the bundle. One word of warning: once you fill the pool, be aware that it is difficult to move. We initially filled it in a non-shady area so that the sun could warm up the water. When it was time to play, we wanted to move it in the shade. That was not easy! It took three of us and a lot of huffing and puffing.

Perfect size for my 3 & 1 year old
I cannot get over how perfect this is! Some reviews state that the pool is too small. I mean, it's certainly not intended for big kids. That said, it's wonderful for my 3.5 and 1.5 year old. There's room enough for both of them, and they are equally entertained with the toys and water, while sitting comfortably in the shade. We were out in it for almost 3 hours yesterday after it arrived. Well made, sturdy, and cute. I think we will get more than our money's worth this summer. Now I can sit in the deck and read while they play contentedly (within arms reach, of course) - excellent product thus far.

Great product
Love this! Its perfect for the little one. I think i might even put sand in it for a sand box when the weather gets colder.

Cool Fun in the Summertime!
My grandson loved this for his second birthday gift. We were missing the two plastic screws so didn't get it quite put together as it should be on our first try, but that didn't stop my grandson from enjoying the pool! It's solid, tough plastic, has little seats that can be a place to perch while splashing and splashing. Umbrella provides a nice barrier from our intense Florida sun. Lots of good clean fun for our 2 year old water bug!

Great pool for the price!
I have a 10 month old son. He loves this pool. I am very glad it has two little seats in it. It gives him the option to sit up out of the water a little or down in it. I had hunted a long time to find one with an umbrella. It works great and is easy to take down and remove if I don't want/need it. The little water fall feature is also fun. My son likes to play with the water as it trickles down. The down side is removing the water. I use a pail to scoop it out enough so I can lift one side and dump it. I'm afraid if I lift it with too much water in it that it may bend the pool and cause a leak. There is also no cover even offered for it. I like to save water and not have to fill it every day but we have dogs and then there are the bugs (we are in the south). I will have to make a cover so we aren't wasting so much water. UPDATE July 2016 Well it is just a few days short of a full year for this pool and it is still going strong. It has been out on our back patio year round down here in Alabama. The umbrella is the only part that is starting to show some wear. But as you can see in the picture, it is still solid and functioning. Just the umbrella was in our storage box on the back patio through the winter. No moisture got to it and it was out of the sun. There are some small dark spots all over it as if there may be some mildew but it doesn't smell bad and doesn't seem to affect the integrity of the fabric. There is also one small tear on it. Not sure how that happened but it is still a solid umbrella. Still wish it came with a pool cover. Still very happy with this pool. Our son is now 22 months and he plays in it almost every day.

Wait for a sale but it’s worth it.
I didn’t want to spend $60 on a baby pool. I still feel like I over paid. I think it should be more in the $40-$50 range after I opened it. That being said, my daughter and nephew love it. Keeps them busy for a good hour, one is 12 months and the other 18months. If I had time, I would have watched the price and waited for a sale.
