Wow! Wow wow! Love my Logitechs!
What a difference! I do NOT wear "cans" for gaming or music listening so these speakers were on my short list of systems to get without going full home 7.1 rated. It is replacing a Razer Leviathan system (previous review) that replaces an old set of Logitech 5.1 speakers. Set up is easy, set the speakers up, put the amp/kicker where you want it , fed the color coded wires to the back of your kicker then to your speakers. I used a DTS cable to run from my computer to the kicker interface, trust me ...buy a DTS cable rather than use that provided color coded wires. Your ears will thank you. Set up your settings via your computer , make sure your control for the system is set to 3 or 4 (whatever your dts is plugged into) put the computer settings where you like them, run the test a couple times. Rock out OR ...be ready to duck a couple times if your play a FPS and a bullet wizzes by your head. I know these aren't "pro" 5.1 but , as far as every day non audio engineer types playing computer games and listening to music (movies as well) these are PERFECT all around speakers with great quality, easy set up and possible to expand in future (better wires , extra speaker etc.

Welp, I'm finally done looking for a good 5.1 system. This fits the bill!
After having these now for a couple months, and play testing them with many different games on my PC, and many different songs from my Mac... I can say these are 'pretty darn good'. Apparently I'm a really picky snit with audio. I never thought of myself as an audiophile, but, I guess I am after how many cheap 5.1 systems I went through ramping up price each time to reach these are realize "these will do everything I need and sound great while doing it". The sound is a bit immense too. I'm running them a tick below half, with the PC set to 90%... games continually sometimes get TOO loud and I'm adjusting in-game volumes of things down to around 70%. So many volume controls... I really should handle it better ;) But I like getting the speakers set to 'one spot', so I don't have to mess with it... then I adjust other volumes in software. Then per-game/mp3 if it is playing to loud or too soft. ANYHOW.... Great system. Love it. 1) Loud (too loud). 2) Rumbling (my poor 100year old windows rattle sometimes). 3) Really crisp to hear the gnats buzzing and birds chirping while waiting to snipe an enemy. 4) Lots of control over volume of each speaker set to help with how you place them. 5) Multiple inputs for all kinds of devices to stay plugged in all the time* 6) Decent remote that is not the size of a small car. 7) Satellite speakers have heft to them, so they tend to stay put. So... do I have gripes? Hmm. Yes: 1) I hate clamp plugs for wiring. I really really do (but luckily this came with pre-soldered wire tips to reduce the crazy-fray). 2) I have to keep remembering to turn it off, or it idles sucking 25 watts and keeps itself warm ;) 3) * My mac causes some light feedback buzz even when I switch to the PC input (but my mac has done this with many other speakers... so I think its just the mac... so I combat it by pulling the plug out of the mac if it becomes annoying).

A Great Low Priced Rock-out Computer Sound System
I purchased this Z906 based on many feedbacks from other buyers here on Amazon. I won't repeat a lot they say, but, will say that I am very impressed with this system. Furthermore, for the price and what I need it for it's the perfect 5.1 for my enjoyment. I have mine connected to my Blu-ray player and my computer. I'm 64 yr.'s old, not into video games at all And if you are my age, into old school like it used to be, you can hook up your old receiver, turntable and even cassette player by itself, and get a super 3D sound. And that is a big plus for my age group. It has RCA jacks for Analog peripherals as much as jacks for digital. Hell, I jammed out on Ozzy Osborne for Halloween. I had this cranked up to see what it can handle. Neighbors 6 houses down got a taste of some great Metal

Great speaker system for a bedrooms home theater
Hello everyone. I got this Logitech Z906 speaker system in March of 2018. It's been almost two months now. So I think I have tested the speaker system enough to give an honest review. This speaker system is awesome for the price. Really good clear sound from the lows to the highs. The bass is great from the subwoofer. Rattles my room at times. The voices are also very clear in the center channel. The system also gives you many different ways to hook up and audio source. 3.5 mm, RCA cables, 6 channel direct, 2 Optical Digital slots, coaxial Digital, I myself choose to use optical Digital for me needs. Also it comes with all the speaker wires you need to set up. TV shows, Movies, Games they all sounds incredible on this speaker system. If your looking for a good quality speaker system for a decent price this is the one. I really enjoy all my shows and movies on the Logitech Z906 speaker system.

Good quality sound without breaking the bank.
Very good base sound from this unit that you can feel. I use it with my Samsung 65" UN65HU8550 UHD 4K Smart TV. Hookup was easy using an Amazon brand TOSLINK fiber optic cable from the TV to the subwoofer unit. The remote control is a huge plus and I keep it next to my TV's remote control. I also have an AppleTV connected to its other optical input. The sound is very clean. Each pair of satellite speakers are adjustable relative to the others in the system both from the control unit and the remote control unit. You can for example increase/decrease the base, center channel, front left and right channels and rear channels independently relative to the rest. There is a general volume control that increases all channels. It has DSP settings for non-dolby digital source sources. It handles DTS-HD and AC3 5.1 and 2.0 perfectly. Actor dialog coming in from the center channel speakers are very clear. The sound is very strong without distortion. If you would like a great sounding surround sound system without having to spend lots of money on a separate 5.1 receiver and speakers, this system might be for you. I would recommend it for a medium sized livingroom I purchased this system when there was a sale on Amazon and during that time it was an exceptional value. My only wish would have been the speaker wires not to be black, but white, so they would be less noticeable on the walls. But I plan on replacing the wire soon. I also wished the rear speaker wire length were a few feet longer, but I will remedy that when I replace the speaker wires. Other than those two minor mentions, I really like the system. I also found these mounting brackets perfectly suited to this speaker system. Best bang for your buck if you are looking for PC/home entertainment surround!
These speakers are awesome. I had the older smaller 75 watt 5.1 logitech speakers and they lasted me about ten years for all kinds of things, music, movies, gaming, etc. They were a tremendous value. Unfortunately one of the satellites gave out and it was time to upgrade to their big brother. This model is awesome. It booms in my living room for anything, especially HD movies. I have no complaints on this at all and it barely needs to get over 50% for awesome sounding movies/games/music. My old speakers were ok, but now I can impress my friends when they come over for a movie. I also use an old skool creative xtreme sound blaster x-fi card which gives them a little bit more power then standard on board 5.1. Just in case you are using media player classic to watch movies, make sure you go into options and click on the normalize button. I have mine set to 350% amplification and regain volume applied. if you want to get the most bang for your buck and happen to use a PC as the center of your entertainment whether hooked up to a projector or big screen, these speakers are probably the best value you can get for your money. Speaker placement is important so make sure you do your homework before mounting these if that is what you are going to do. These things are placed at ear level around about an 18' x 20' room with the bass box under the desk and pulled out from the wall about six inches. Bass redirection is on. I have high 20ft. ceilings in this room and it is open on both areas of the living room and their is plenty of amplification and bass when watching movies.

Powerful, quality sound with great BASS and an even better price tag
Fantastic system for the money. Performance rivals system double its price if not triple. Did a ton of research on it before I bought it. The ONLY annoyance with the system is its looks. Speakers have a look to them as if they are PC desk top speakers (in which they realistically are). When you hang them on your wall to use as a surround sound with your TV you need to get creative in having them "work" with the appearance of everything in the room but that isnt a big deal. SOUND and FUNCTIONALITY is superb. Would buy it over again without a question. Subwoofer is small but has VERY rich powerful bass, does not get distort when pushed to its limits and will shake your house with quality sound if needed.

Phenominal Product
Oh my God, words dont do this speaker system justice. I upgraded from a 10 year old JBL 2.1 sound system after one of the speakers blew out. The new system is super smooth. This easily competes with my $1k, 1k Wrms 7.1 surround system Ive got on my TV and gives it a run for its money. Ive been playing FLAC, 320kbps and WAV music all evening to listen to all the highs and lows and Ive gotta say Im impressed. You can hear it all. Unless you're a serious audiophile, dont bother with the optical connections, you wont hear the difference between that and the 3.5mm connections. Also dont mess with the audio levels unless absolutely necessary as theres no reset and once you mess it up, it'll take you some fiddling to get the settings back. One thing to pay attention to is that layout for the levels - it took me a minute to realize those arent buttons but rather LED indicators to tell you what you're selecting. And no, you cant select the front 2 speakers, which is frustrating. You can only select the back 2, the center and the subwoofer, or all of them. Other than that, Im still putting this thru the ringer so I might add on more later.

Another masterpiece from Logitech 👍👍👍
Another masterpiece from LOGITECH 👍 Got this for my friend to replace his old-school Onkyo analog big bulky sound system. Optical digital inputs THX certified and Dolby Digital Compliance Well made and all material feels rich and quality For the price, there is no other competitor for this quality of material and sound Amazing sound quality, clear, well toned and plenty of effects and options just makes it amazing. Games and dts movies are now much enjoyable and realistic. Definitely recommend Z906 for anyone looking for a best budget top notch quality. It will compete head to head woth bose or harman kardon easily. Definitely win on the price point.

Logitech Surround Sound Speakers Z906
When the box arrived, I thought it would be fairly light. I was wrong. So, I have added pictures for you to see what you are getting. I will talk briefly to each one. (1) This picture shows you how well they packet it. As you can see, there is not much cardboard. (2) This the overall view of the packed pieces. (3) Everything out of the plastic. (4) Everything a little more visible. (5) Here is the Subwoofer (6) Subwoofer front. (7) Subwoofer top. (8) Subwoofer Back (9) Subwoofer speaker jacks close up (10) Subwoofer control panel close up (11) Speakers front (12) Speaker rear (13) Control Console (cheap made compared to the other pieces) (14) Remote (cheap made compared to the other pieces). However, good batteries. (15) Close up of all the wire. I order extra speaker wire because I will run mine a different way. (16) Manual that came with it. (17) This was the strangest thing on the Amazon web. I guess the below competent is just an example of what you could do or the size of the control console. Because it is not in the box. LOL I have to write a second part to this to tell you about the sound. Due to ordering wiring. This should not be counted the product. My first impression is the all over product is excellent (minus what I said earlier). Check back for further review. Well, these speakers are awesome. Great sound! The only way to give them less then a 5-star review is if for some reason the product malfunctioned and no one helped out. Thank you, Logitech for a great product! Rock On!
