Love: Minimal yet functional
In general, the Brute Series by Rubbermaid seems very good; solid construction and simple but nice designs. The bucket is sturdy and functional. It carries weight well without bending like other buckets. I like the plastic grip on the handle. The design is simple and not tacky. There words 'Rubbermaid Commercial Products are imprinted on the side of each bucket - it's very light and barely noticeable. I purchased the 14qt as well. Both sizes have gradation lines; one side is Liters/other is Pints/Quarts. The 14qt one also has gallons. The diameter is larger at the top and narrows below the top rim so it's not same top to bottom. DIMENSIONS (see picture of 10qt and 14qt side by side) 14 qt Height: 11-3/8" Diameter at top including (3/8' rim) = 12" Height of bucket below the top wider part is 9-1/8" Bottom diameter = 9-3/8” 10 qt Height: slightly <10-1/8" Diameter at top including (1/4' rim) = 10-1/2" Height of bucket below the top wider part is 8-3/8" Bottom diameter = 8-1/4”

Great water recycling bucket!
Like most people who bought this item I was looking for something to catch the warm up water from the shower. I was using a cheap 5 gallon bucket, it was to heavy, hurt my hand, and was a beast to carry down the stairs. Love this bucket!! Full 2" below the full line so it won't slop out going down the stairs it weighs 13.5lbs! The handle is sturdy, and it has a nice pour spout making it easier to water outside plants.

Great bucket. Nice bucket
Great bucket. Nice bucket. Bucket full of water. Put whatever you want in this bucket. This bucket will stand the test of time. It's long, it's strong, and it's down to get the friction on. Solid bucket. Well-made bucket. Ready to help you solve your problems that you really couldn't solve without this bucket. In short, buy this bucket, and love this bucket.

Solid, All Around
This bucket seems made-to-last. It's a tad wider than my previous bucket of a similar size. This is partially due to the structure of the angular, wider, "solid" handle. The handle grip is hard plastic, but again, made to last. I really see this one lasting a long time.

The quality is very evident. Costs more but you get what you pay for.
Quality is excellent. I have the big and small size. I've had many lesser buckets, including lesser Rubbermaid models, crack or have the handle break but I can't see that happening with this product as the handle is heavy duty and the plastic is much stronger and of better quality. I have a red-themed garage so I got the red but I think the grey looks perfect with the red handle contrast. That model seems to be back-ordered all the time though.

Sturdy
The perfect bucket. Nice and sturdy and well formed with pouring spout. Love the comfy plastic grip on the metal handle so it does not hurt my hands to pick it up. Thankfully read many reviews on the cheaper brands and learned they do not hold up. This is strong and I expect it to last a long time.

Great commerical bucket with good quality handle.
Great cleaning bucket. I love thick it is it can really hold up to bring transported in a car flopping around. I use this bucket for cleaning car interiors. The handle is Very secure and sturdy unlike cheaper ones at Wal-Mart. In the pictures i have posted look at the quality of thickness of the bucket and also the handle compared to cheaper one they sell at retail stores. If your a professional this bucket needs to be added to your aresonal.

Great for holding water!
These commercial buckets are very sturdy and well made. We purchased six of them to catch and hold cold water in the shower and bath while waiting for the tap water to run hot (our hot water tank is about 40 feet from our shower and a lot of clean cold water can run down the drain while waiting for the hot water to arrive - too much wasted water!). These buckets are very helpful during the drought and water rationing here in California. We use the cold water saved in the buckets to water plants in the yard, wash floors, rinse dust off the car, etc. We love the plain gray color, the bright red hand grip on the steel handles, and the pouring spout (which makes it easy to use the bucket to water plants outside). These buckets hold just enough water, but not so much that it would be too heavy to carry. They are the perfect size - not too big, not too small. We have always loved Rubbermaid buckets and were unable to find their light duty household product, so we purchased these instead and are happy we did! Highly recommended.

The PERFECT Bucket for Cleaning Around the House!
It's red. It's a bucket. It's Rubbermaid. What's not to love? :~) Seriously, I was looking for a well-made bucket for home use, for toting around with soapy water and a rag for wiping stuff down, so it needed to be not too small, but also not too large (sort of the Goldilocks dilemma). Most of the buckets I found here were either too big (4 or 5 or more gallons) or too small (one gallon). At 10 quarts (2 1/2 gallons) this bucket was as close to the perfect size as could be! Plus, with it being bright red, it will be hard to miss in my garage or in the depths of my cleaning supply closet, and as a bonus, it's a cheery colour which will make cleaning around the house just a little bit less drudgeryful! 2 rubber-gloved soapy thumbs up!

Put the Buck Buck Bucket Down (from Mule Skinner Blues)
Some buckets' handles break off. Some buckets' spouts are poorly designed for clean pours. Some buckets' plastic cracks. Some buckets have handles uncomfortable to carry. This bucket, so far, has had none of those problems. Just don't sit it on the stove.
