We bought this bike for our 3-year-old son, and he absolutely loved it. He finally outgrew it a year and a half later (he's really tall for his age, though), and now our younger son uses and loves it (he's almost 2). It's held up great through lots of abuse, but it's very light-weight so the little ones can pick it up and move it around easily. And the price is very reasonable compared to lots of other toddler bikes out there. And the best part is that the balance bikes really do teach kids to ride bikes without training wheels. Now our 4.5-year-old cruises on his pedal bike without ever having used training wheels!

Very sharp and nicely detailed bicycle. Assembled it in 10 minutes and I found that it was surprisingly sturdy and well made for the price. The price is something I would like to address here... This Bicycle was one of the lowest priced I found but, in every way shape and form as good as the Balance Bikes costing upwards into the 120's and higher. This Bargain is worth every penny and I think it could last a lot longer than my Grandson will be using it.

This is such a great bike! Easy to assemble. Lightweight. Compact. Super cute. My 2.5 year old can pick it up and carry it when he decides he doesn't want to ride. We have had to tighten the handle bar collar a couple times, but it isn't really an issue. I like that the tires aren't rubber inflatables and we don't have to worry about flats or pumping up the tires. i think we will get good use out of this since we have space to raise seat and handle bars. We have a Radio Flyer scooter for him as well, and he likes this one a lot more! He actually rode it into our room to wake us up the day after he got it!

I gave this to my son for his 2nd birthday and he LOVES it! He hopped right on the minute he saw it, and we haven't been able to get him off since. He figured it out right away, though for now he walks it more than "gliding" with it. I am happy with how low the seat goes -- my son is not especially tall, but at 2 he is able to sit on the seat and his feet touch the ground. I love that there's still lots of room for the bike to grow with him! It was really easy to assemble and it seems very solid. I'm happy we went with this one over some of the pricier options, because after we bought this my son tried a neighbor's Strider and he was a lot more awkward on it -- I think it might be because the higher handlebars are better for him. We highly recommend this for your kiddo!

We purchased this for my son's 2nd birthday. He had been riding a tiny bike with training wheels but couldn't reach the peddles, so he pushed himself around with his feet. It made perfect sense to just switch to a balance bike. My husband and I had never seen one in person, so we were all excited about it. I was SO surprised at how quickly my little guy (literally- little...he's tiny for his 2 years) got the hang of it and was flying down the driveway and the road with both feet off the ground. I can't believe we didn't just go this route with all of our children. Such a practical first step!! The bike is very sturdy and has held up well. The pain chipped off the front of the handlebars within the first week, but we weren't gentle with it either- it gets used pretty much all day every day. The tires aren't wearing as quickly as I thought they would, so that's good. We are very happy with this purchase, and even more pleased with the price. The Chicco bike was VERY affordable compared to other options.

First of all, I think pedal-less bikes are life changing. This one is great for little ones that need to keep up with their older siblings. We gave this to our youngest son for his 2nd birthday. He was riding w/in weeks. Our older son started on a wooden pedal-less bike at age 3, but this bike is a little smaller so we could start with our younger son a bit earlier. We basically skipped the trike entirely. This meant that he could keep up with his older brother - whatever his big brother does he can do. Our youngest is almost 4 now and has not had any trouble transitioning to a pedal bike w/ training wheels. His older brother was off training wheels at this point, but considering the younger one never even learned how to pedal a tricycle, we expected his transition to a pedal bike to come a little later. It has come later, but it has been quick and painless. It's so much easier to teach a 3.5yr old that has been on a balance bike to pedal on training wheels than it is to teach a 2yr old to pedal a trike. Only possible downside to this bike is that kids will grow out of it quickly b/c it's so small, but if they get it young, it will last just fine. Others complained about not being able to replace the tires (they are not inflatable), but they have lasted fine for us (kept in a garage). Hope this is as great for your family as it has been for ours.

This is the best little balance bike. My son got one a few years back for Christmas and it was amazing with how it has the adjustable seat. When we bought our son an actuall pedal bike he didn't even need the training wheels after having this balance bike. The tires are the plastic ones but they will last.... Our balance bike is currently on its 323rd child and still doing great.... My son rode his from 18 months to age 3 and then got the pedal bike but was still riding it occasionally at 4. It totally worth the buy

I bought this for my 4 yr old for Christmas. He LOVES it! He rides it around the house all day long. He quickly learned to balance and can go a good distance without putting his feet down. It is the perfect size for him. When the time comes to ride a real bike, I doubt he will even need training wheels. I wish I would've known about balance bikes with my older boys! Great product!!

Excellent. My son has ridden it for almost a year and a half now. He learned how to ride a pedal bike about 8 months ago (just over 3 years old) but he still likes to "stride" around on this baby. I'm not really sure what people are talking about on the size. He has ridden it when he was small to big and the size has never been an issue. I don't know how else to say this, but I have see some kids awkwardly try to ride this (and other strider style bikes) and just don't get it. Then the parents say "Oh, it's the bikes fault. If the bike was better, then my child could ride it" when the bike it just fine. It is extremely light and very ridable. best strider bike I've seen out there, especially for the money.
