Beautiful full and flowing
This is a good pattern... There could be a little more details in instructions for new sewers. I used velvet and it didn't help explain the cutting for nap with velvet . Beautiful full flowy design

Great capes!
Great capes. I used one of these styles to make a Jedi cape and a Dark Jedi cape (varied the color and material). I had help, because I don't know how to sew. But it was pretty easy to put together. It takes A LOT of material; the capes are substantial. But they are quality. I made two capes for $30 each that would have cost at least $100 anywhere else.

Ready for cooler weather!
You might want to consider pockets or slits for sleeves as it’s being constructed. Very happy with the way it sits on the shoulder giving it definition and shape over simple circular designs. I only added one caplet due to the weight of my material and am still well pleased.

Very simple cape pattern
I am a cosplayer who usually does not use patterns because quite frankly they always looked confusing to me. That said, I am making a Lady Death cape where the fabric was over $200 so it was critical that I didn't mess it up. I bought this pattern as it looked fairly simple. IT WAS! I so far have only made the main cape, and it is unlined, but it was incredibly easy to do and it looks so beautiful and luxurious. It was very easy to understand and work with, definitely highly recommend!

Excellent cape pattern for a costume, I never got to use it though.

Simple pattern although it requires lots of room to cut those double-long pieces!
