This one sure desserves five stars! I lost my stylus long ago and I had to use my DSi's to play games until I lost that, too. It was really frustrating, recently I was using my Apple Pencil for games and it wasn't comfortable bringing an Apple Pencil around wherever I go since they're kinda pricey. So I thought I'll see what Amazon has to offer. I didn't think I'll find anything since I'm using the original Nintendo 3DS not the "New" one. And although couple of people complained that the styluses won't fit, most of them were talking about a New Nintendo 3DS so I thought I'll give this one a shot and see what happens. I got them today and they fit perfectly! I'm so happy I made this purchase! It slides in swiftly and it clicks into place so it won't come out unless you pull it out. I say if you own one of the original 3DS and need a stylus you get it from here.

Perfect for "old" 3ds

These fit perfectly for the original 3ds model. I included pictures of my 3ds to help if you aren't sure if you have a new 3ds or the "old" (pictured, note the lack of a c-stick on the right side of the gamepad)

Fits my NEW 2ds XL!! does not fit flat and / or perfect like what it came with but that doesnt bother me! Love that it extends unlike the original and I'm so excited that it came with 3! Just perfect, thank you!

Good buy if you lost your original stylus

Great buy for the price, item as described and came packaged well. I’m not really sure why there are multiple negative reviews on the fit of the stylus because the stylus for perfectly in my daughter’s 3DS. I can see how after using for an extended period of time the stylus might get loose in the game system but that is why it’s nice that the package comes with 2 extra styluses. Again these styluses fit the original Nintendo 3DS not the new versions or the Nintendo 2DS. Highly recommend.

Works great

Fits the 2DS XL slot for the most part, doesn't fall out, and stays extended when you extend it. Good product, and much more comfortable to use than the original 2DS XL stylus.

Perfect for 2dsxl

I bought these because the 2ds xl stylus it comes with is for toddler hands, I guess. These fit almost perfectly into that slot (it does stick out a little) so I always have one around and adjust to a usable length. Package came on time, unopened and worked perfectly.

Works great for old 3DS

Great product. I'm using for my old 3DS (Not the new version). Locks in place and the extending feature is great cause I have large hands.

Got Styli?

These are so much better than the plastic ones I'd bought at GameStop a year ago! These are identical to the stylus that came with the 3DS.

Does NOT fit 3DS XL, but still cool 👍🏻

5 Stars still bc obviously Nintendo has these retractable bad boys and obviously I wanted them - but! If you’re like me and don’t read, just an fyi they don’t go all the way in to the 3DS XL slots lol. Still cool 👍🏻
