If you are going through the nightmare process of packing your possessions for a move, this is the product which will make things much easier for you. Rather than use endless quantities of tape so seal your boxes, a quick strap or two does the job of securing your boxes easily, quickly and more efficiently. My wife and I worked out a system of strapping a box which is quick and easy to do. The tightening tool supplied with the strap pac is much less effective than using two pairs of pliers to pull the straps. 3000 feet of strapping and hundreds of buckles are enough for a whole house moove.

This is really cool! I've been packing boxes to put into storage, only to return a few months later to see the tape had let go. After reading comments on this product, I wasn't sure that it would do the job. I was wrong. If you follow instructions, you can package everything so tight the plastic band hums when you pluck it. It's not going to break except under extraordinary loads. I doubt most people will that. I am Very impressed with this product. A little slower to apply than tape, but it will stay in place until you cut the banding. Love it.

We do not ship a ton of outgoing stuff at our RV dealership. It did not make sense for us to buy some expensive kit to ship 15 to 20 items a year that required strapping. After reading many reviews decided to go with this product and save some bucks. Absolute great product would buy again in a heartbeat does all we need to do time and time again thanks

Worth the investment to ensure that heavy items I sell on Ebay arrive in good condition. Plus I used this for moving. Nice for adding straps to boxes that don't have carry handles. Would buy again.

I used this strapping kit last night to bundle together a large number of painted canvases for transport to a gallery. I should have bought one of these kits years ago. It took me about an hour to get my work bundled together and ready to go. There is a small ridge on one side of each plastic buckle to keep the wound parts of the device separated, and although it seems to work OK either way, it makes it a little easier to align the straps when threading.

OVERVIEW: This is a solid product, it does what is supposed to do. Super strong and easy to do. We originally got it to satisfy the post office’s requirement for sending bulk mail flats, but find it to be useful for all sorts of things – pallets especially. Shipping lighter items like flats of envelopes do not stretch the strapping, but pallets of books stretch them slightly after time. Easy to remedy, though, just retighten. STRAPPING: The strapping is super strong. Not the heaviest I've seen put it holds regardless of the weight of the flat or pallet. WIRE BUCKLES: They are strong and do not bend. Regardless of the amount of tension of the straps, they hold. There are plenty of them as well. They are reusable as well, if you are with whatever you are strapping both at the beginning and end. THere are tons of them included, so I can't picture running out before the strapping is gone. TENSION TOOL: I've never used it. I find it easier to tighten by hand for lightweight stuff and with a vice grip for heavier pallets. PACKAGE: The package design makes the product super easy to use. The strapping is coiled within, and easily comes out of the section on the side of the box designed for that purpose. When you pull on the strapping it simply comes out. The hole in the top is useful because it is a natural spot for the bag of wire buckles. There are simple instructions on the side of the package that make it easy for newbies to figure it out.

Great product for light strapping or binding boxes for shipping. There are a ton of strapping and buuckles in the box. The straps do stretch and the buckles are fairly light duty. I would liken the weight of the strapping to very heavy ribbon, and not what a freight company uses for strapping. The buckles look like they are spring steel and are half the thickness and size of a typical freight buckle. Overall, this will work great for strapping lumber and other light duty tasks. I would not use these to strap something heavy to a pallot.

Cheap, strong, clips re-useable. I lap the end over one of the "stickers" (spacer for drying lumber) and shove the strap under the stack. Pull it over the top, put on the formed spring clip and with the tool provided, pull it tight. The clip holds without slipping back. Using tool again to cut the strap. If I leave about 8" of strap, I can come back and retighten if the pile shrinks. If I slide several pieces out, cut the strap close to the clip, remount it on the now smaller pile and re-tension. Instructions for mounting the clip are on the side of the box/dispenser.

Wrapped up a few pallets using this handy case. Seems like some reviewers got confused on how to use the straps and tool, but if you look online there are a ton of YouTube videos explaining the directions more clearly and it's very easy to use the whole set. I would suggest the manufacturer that they provide videos and a link on their box to make the instructions more easy for users.

Excellent value for the money! I have been using it to secure items for freight shipping (strapped to pallets, secure lids on crates) with great success. All shipped items have arrived in perfect condition, and the strapping survives even the roughest forklift operator. HINT: if the strapping contacts sharp edges, cut some cardboard strips to place underneath the strapping so that the sharp edges don't cut through the strapping. The buckles are not hard to figure out; just follow the diagrams on the box and the tensioning/cutting tool included works just fine. If you understand basic tension principles, you'll figure it out in no time. I love this kit, and highly recommend it to anyone who has to ship anything via freight infrequently (I go through Fastenal exclusively). If you are a professional, you will of course want a much more robust system, but for the occasional user, I highly recommend it. I'm ready to move up to 3/4" strapping now!
