This frame has made my bed feel like brand new. Previously it was sagging in a few areas of which we figured out was from the 3 slats and posts underneath providing no support for the heavy high end mattress. Not the proper support. Put together which was not too hard with the directions. Maybe needed a screwdriver and a hammer and that was it. Back pain I was having was resolved after one night sleeping on the mattress with this new frame. Also slept better than I have in two years.

This thing saved me! My bed didnt come with a support. I've been using 5 - 1x6 boards to support it but when I moved into a basement with a low ceiling, I couldn't get the queen box spring down stairs. I had to buy a split queen box spring but it bowed on the 1x6 boards I originally had. It bowed so badly that it broke all the boards my first night, thus creating what I like to call the taco bed. After a few nights of the taco bed I thought this contraption and honestly, I was intimadated once I took it out of the box! There were so many parts. So I left my house and decided I wasn't going to deal with that problem today. on my way home it was late and realized I didnt have a bed. But luckily my amazing roommates decided to take on the headache and put it together for me! Seriously, not at all heroes wear capes. Short story long, this thing is sturdy af and was a great purchase. Just plan on a couple of hours to put it together.

We bought a new mattress and box springs and I ended up rolling into my husband every night. We thought it was the mattress so since there was a 90 return policy we exchanged it. The same thing happened. Got to checking and realized that it didn’t have a middle support. It is a queen size. We thought about trying slats when I found this on amazon. Decided to try it since it was returnable if it didn’t work. It worked! But it sure wasn’t as simple as the instructions indicated but we were partially prepared for that from the reviews. You will have to drill and screw ut in places so it adds extra support and sit properly. Glad we went this way.

This thing is awesome! I have a really pretty but not well made bed frame in the spare room, and put a new top quality box spring and mattress on it. I was puzzled none of our company ever said how great the bed was - until it finally just slipped off the edge of the frame and we could see it was bowing in the middle - ZERO support in the middle of the queen bed frame. I didn't think slats would work with the frame I have as it's just not real sturdy, so I went with this and am really glad I did. It is so simple to install the only time you need instructions are to see where the crossbars should go. My frame had only 2 supports but unfortunately they were put in with a rivet and I couldn't get a saw blade in there to cut them off, so I had to put this frame in the holes nearest the head and food so the crossbars wouldn't fit. If any problems arise I'll know to somehow get the old metal slats off and put this together the way it was intended, but it's so sturdy I don't expect any problems at all.

As I assembled and attached this bed-frame support system, I became fascinated and impressed with its design. It took me an hour or two to put it together. It took that long not because it's difficult, but just because I had to keep measuring distances so that everything would be centered. I purchased this item because my 7-yr-old latex-foam mattress developed a sag in the middle and I wanted to try to save it if possible instead of junking it and buying a new, similar mattress at a cost of $1500 to $2000. So I installed this bed-frame support system and then placed on the mattress's foundation a Mattress Helper Under Mattress Support foam-polymer strip. I put the mattress back in place, and it's like having a new mattress again! This is an economical solution to the problem, and I'm overjoyed with the result.

With two big bodies (both over 200lbs) that pseudo bed frame from Sweden didn't have a chance. We installed this support system about three weeks ago and that frame is doing its jobs--good enough for some midnight madness now

This is a great product and exactly what we needed. Before, we just had wooden slats and they always kept falling out. This support is perfect. Assembly was easy; ignore the reviews that say otherwise. If you can read a two page instruction sheet and use some common sense, you're good. My only "gripe" is that the steel supports are quite spread apart. I added some wood slats in between for added support (see picture). I'm sure it would have been fine, but I like having the extra stability.

Our bed came with 5 cross slats and legs of extremely cheap quality. We had already broken 2 of them and I was worried the bed was going to cave in one night. We have cats who like to get under the bed sometimes, so I wanted something extremely sturdy. I looked around and came across this and it seemed to fit the bill. It arrived in a compact, but extremely heavy package. The pieces are heavy gauge steel construction, and went together very easily. Probably took me less than an hour and that includes moving the mattress and box springs and putting them back. The bed feels _extremely_ solid now. The wood slats used to allow the bed to flex and move as I'd toss and turn in the night, but this eliminates that, which is a very welcome improvement. Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase!

Well, the instructions could be a bit better, but the product is excellent. Sturdy well built. I used it on a queen bed with metal side rails and had no problem making it work. I did have to drill pilot holes as others have mentioned and supply my own sheet metal screws. The result was well worth the additional effort. The support system is meant for wood side rails and would be ultra easy if used that way. You metal railers don't fret, you can make it work and will like the result. No more squeaks or groans from the box springs or the bed frame. My headboard/footboard/side rails are 30 years old, mattress/box spring is only 2 years old, and it was sagging due to the slats. Now it feels new.

We have a wooden bed frame that came with the worst design for a center support system that they could have dreamed up. The bed has drawers at the end, which makes the whole thing very high off the ground, and they decided that the best way to support it was with thin wooden spindles and screws into their end-grain. These slipped out all the time and the wooden and thin horizontal slats bowed and cracked considerably. I couldn't move an inch in the bed without the bed cracking several times. I ripped all of that nonsense out and install this Glideaway system. IT'S SO MUCH BETTER! Now, the bed is silent. It also doesn't move an inch when I get into it, so I'm getting a lot more support when I sleep, so my sleep has been better. I'm also not in constant fear of falling to the floor. The support legs are strong, with wide feet, and the X bracing gives me confidence that they won't slide out on me. Because of my particular frame, I had to do quite a bit of work to get this installed, but that wasn't the fault of the product, just my bed. Otherwise it would have been a snap.
