My kid loves it

It is a great challenging puzzle and keeps the kids entertained. Very well built!

Great Educational Activity

My three year old grandson loves this puzzle. My only complaint is that with the higher numbers, the pictures are in a random order and makes counting them difficult without adult help. That may not be a problem for older children.

Excellent Product!

My husband thought I was nuts when I ordered these for our 25 month old grandson. I can happily report at 31 months he can count to 20 and recognize all his numbers up to 30, I am positive these puzzle pieces helped. He loves the bright colors and has a blast counting each pieces unique pictures. Would recommend this for anyone who loves learning toys for their child. An added bonus is the clear plastic cover that slides onto the wooden storage box, keeps all the pieces from flying out should little hands reach the box before you do.

Perfect for a preschooler

My daughter is beginning pre-k at home so I chose these to go along with the curriculum we're working on. They are wood, very solid and great for little hands and minds to work with. My daughter gets very excited when she sees the box come out and looks forward to learning with them.

An excellent educational toy, the best to teach numbers!

People must have never seen a wooden puzzle given the huge number of complaints. Yes, when you brake pieces off, splinters will fall the first few times. What did you expect? I always have a blanket down for puzzle play and just go and get rid of the splinters. It's an excellent toy, just what my toddler needed. We have M&D pegged number puzzle, magnetic cars number puzzle and others, but I could never really get him to count the objects one by one. Until now. I love this toy for its educational value, my kid enjoys real counting now. Thank you M&D for this one! P.S. In order to get going, start with the first 5 numbers, then increase the numbers to 10 and so on.

EXCELLENT LEARNING TOOL

We absolutely love the Melissa & Doug brand. This toy is so fun and our 2 year old loves it. It teaches counting individual objects and matching that with the correct number. It has been a wonderful learning tool and we will continue to use it as we homeschool.

Toddler loves them

I have the alphabet version of this puzzle. My toddler loves these and its nice that they only fit in the right piece. No problems having pieces break or the pictures coming off.
