My granddaughter loves this! She was borrowing her cousin's all the time, and I finally got this for her today. My g'son said 'oh you got the good one!'. She's 7, perfect for her, and I like that the opening is stiff enough to stay open as she learns to rope....the dog.

We bought this for a 4 year old boy who loves everything cowboy. He hasn't tried any actual roping tricks with it, but he could if he tried!

This is a great starter lasso

This is a great starter lasso. I bought this as a Christmas present for my mom. She has always wanted to learn how to use one and this is the perfect ting for it. It is only 20 feet long so you can get the feel of it without the weight and length to get in the way for beginners. The rope is a good quality it is nice and strong and it looks just like it is pictured which i always appreciate. The is a good buy especially for what it cost is.

Kids love it

Got this for my nephews Cowboy themed birthday and it it worked great for them. They were lassoing people, the wooden horse, and other kids. So they enjoyed. I can't comment on how it compares to a real one, but it's a lot of fun.
