Chirps like a bird - Cat loves it!
Thank you, Amazon! My cat loves this toy. We had one for many years, but the "tweety" noise finally gave out. Was so happy to find the same one by the same brand here. The first one they sent was defective -- it didn't tweet at all. But Amazon sent a replacement out the next day, and the second one works great ... my cat doesn't stop playing with it until she's exhausted. Happy cat = happy cat-mommy = happy customer! Thanks again, Amazon!

Great!!! (minus the sound)
My cat doesn't really go for jingle balls or little stuffed mice that sit still...very picky. I got this toy for him a year ago and just replaced it (he ripped all the feathers out). He tosses it up in the air and entertains himself...I think it's the feathers and the way the toy wobbles that he likes. He really LOVES it. The only thing I don't like about this toy is the terrible annoying sound it makes. It does sound like real birds, but it makes the chirping sound with even the lightest touch. I ended up cutting a small hole with scissors and getting the sound thing out. With that tweak, it is the perfect toy...he doesn't seem to miss the chirp at all.

my puppy loves it too
So, as funny as this may sound, my new puppy stumbled across some of my cats old play toys. And she thinks this is the BEST thing EVER created. The cats enjoy it for some amounts of time before getting bored (as cats do), but the puppy will toss this toy for hours on end just to make it squeak so she can pounce on it again. Holds up well over some mouth chewing - it took her a couple of weeks before she figured out how to pull the feathers out. I usually replace the noisy kitty toys every year or two, now I just need to buy some extras more often!

Great cat toy to give to another cat owner you dislike
If you want to torture a fellow cat owner, buy this toy. It's great. Cat loves it. Never stops playing with it. Even better, the chirping sound is loud enough to awaken any cat parent at anytime of the night. My cat has brought this chirping nightmare to me at 3am, 4am and 6am. And you can't just throw it off the bed, since the cat will then think the bird is flying away, chase it and bring back. Thanks to buying this lovely, effective cat toy, I'm also planning on now buying Melatonin.

My cats love this bird! It makes a loud tweeting sound!
Very good quality cat toy bird. It makes a loud tweeting sound when they go near it... they don't even have to touch the bird.. it will start tweeting as soon as they approach it. Very fun toy and keeps my kitten busy in a safe way. These toys are necessary when you have a kitten or kittens/cats.. because they can really get themselves into trouble!

My Cat Loves this toy
I took a chance and bought this at our local hardware store, at a higher price. My cat, indoor only, does not normally play with cat toys but, from the day I brought the first one home she has entertained herself with it daily. The tail feathers eventually got riped out but that didn't affect her interest in it. I ordered two more from Amazon so I had a spare and one for up stairs and down for her to play with. I will say the toy makes a chirping sound while it's being played with. It can be annoying. It was to my husband but eventually we just tuned it out. Overtime the chirping only happens intermitently, but that's OK. No batteries are needed. You can add catnip to the toy, there is a velcro pouch that hold a pinch of catnip. I added some at first and eventually took it out. She still plays with it.

Best cat toy ever
best cat toy ever! for the past 4 years, my cat has been absolutely obsessed with this toy (he has five of them now because he is always losing them under the sofa and he is a bit rough with them). He never gets tired of chasing the birdie around and would probably play with it around the clock and never sleep if he didn't lose it under the couch or bed every 10 minutes. Beware of chirping...it can drive you nuts but the cat just can't get enough of it. Sounds exactly like a real birdie. My cat gets tired of any other toys within a few hours or sometimes days but he is just as excited about Parrot Tweet today as he was on the first day 4 years ago.

favorite toy besides the little mice
My cat loves this toy. This is her favorite one along side the feather wand and the little mice she loves to chase. She always goes to this as her top one to chew, toss and chase. This is the 2nd one I've purchased. My cat is rough with this toy and chewed it to the point where it stopped chirping and seems were falling apart. This was several months of play. The 2nd one for some reason the chirp didn't work but she still enjoys it. Will continue to buy this product.

Highly recommend
This is our second Tweet Thing. Our cat wore the first one out. We have an older cat, and getting her to perform any physical activity can sometimes be a challenge. A few waves of this toy over her head, with the accompanying "tweets", does the trick. She rolls over, grabs at it, bats it and acts like a kitten again! She never seems to never tire of the thing. This is one of the very few toys she has ever had that she will also play with on her own. Sometimes, after we have gone to bed, we will hear "tweet, tweet, tweet" coming from the living room! We just smile knowing that she is enjoying this great toy.

Cat, not so much... Dog, loves it!
So, we bought one of these for my cat at a local store. The cat has zero interest in it, but my Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever loves the darn thing. I think it's partly her instinct to retrieve small birds. She goes crazy for it, stole it from the cat and won't let her have it back. She plays with it so much that we ordered a second one since she has practically destroyed the first.
