For the life of me, how can these last so long? these are the best illustration pens in the Universe. I have used them in many different types of paper, watercolor paper, never disappointing me. I have bought other brands, and another things that makes me love this pens is that when you hold the pen at an angle close to be horizontal to the paper, the side of the tip of these pens still work. Sometimes I hold them like you would a pastel stick. I have tried this with others and they don't work as well, just to very tip, the round part. I wish they had more colors like turquoise, chocolate, maroon perylene.. The ink they use it is awesome, across papers doesn't bleed like many others. Fantastic.

There is so much to love about this pen set I will start with what I love and work my way down to the suggestions and possible caveats. I love the variety of sizes. I start with the 05(.45mm) for standard line design and alternate between the 02(.30mm) and the 005(.20mm) for the ultra fine lines and crosshatching. The ink flow is amazingly smooth and consistent and very dark. I use a variety of paper weight and have had no issues with smudging as this dries extremely fast. Even on basic scrap paper or 20 pound printer paper there is no bleed through at all and I love that. Drawing on a basic 60 pound paper with the darkest fill ins there is nothing visible on the other side and that is huge for me. Was the main reason I gave up Sharpie Pens as they bleed too badly for double sided work. Can't vouch for the amount of ink these contain because I have not run dry on even the most used yet. I got this particular set because if was cheaper than the set with 6 pens at the time. Having never used I brush pen I went ahead and fooled around with it and ended up loving it! The variety of lines you can lay down with it makes for some intriguing designs and with some finesse I can get a line as narrow as the 005. Now for the other side. You MUST cap these pens when not in use. If you leave them open the tips WILL dry out and that is a pain to clean and I speak from personal experience with pens of these types. Rubbing alcohol will help if you forget. The other thing to understand is how fragile the tips are. These lay down ink with the slightest pressure from both tip and side but they are so narrow that you can mush them with a heavy hand and break the tip and then they are ruined. If you use these for writing text you will need to go slow, these aren't your old ballpoints. This can be a plus if you have poor penmanship because slow and steady wins. Take care when writing on other surfaces as well. Plastic or smooth film-like surfaces will smudge. Drawing across other things such as dried paints, cloth, or anything with fibers or paint that might flake off will clog the tips but, inking before painting and you will be fine. These lines don't smudge on paper even when gone over with watercolor. For drawing and line work on paper these have an amazing quality of ink and will never let you down by smudging, bleeding, or fading as long as you understand to avoid a heavy hand and take care of them.

These pens came today. I use them for line and wash watercolor painting. I posted a photo below. I drew a line using each pen to show how fine/thick they were and immediately used a flat brush to spread water over them. There was no bleeding at all. There was plenty of ink in the pens so I'm very satisfied. I can't believe the price either! I paid more than this purchase for just two pens from Michaels!

Pens worked out great and are beautiful! I started getting into mandalas and been using regular ball point pens, decided to switch to these pens for more of an advance league and this was a wise investment. I didn't think it would make big difference, but quality is def. better than quantity. Will repurchase this again when I start running out of ink (:

Product came on time, and as advertised. I didn’t notice much difference at all in nib size between 01 and 02, but that’s not a problem for me. None were dry. All performed well. I’m impressed with the brush pen. All seem highly pigmented. I am happy with my purchase. It’s a great deal compared with other retailers who charge $4.00 per pen. Would definitely recommend. Will purchase here again when needed. Update: my recommendation has not changed. I ordered a second blister pack of multiple size 005, as I have found that I use them more than the other sizes. I tested all of the pens and they all performed perfectly.

I'm not going to say that I went from drawing stick figures to... whatever my brain just pooped out, but gee golly wiz, I feel like these pens (especially the brush) give me some sort of super mediocre drawing ability. I feel the power of the pens coursing through me. When they aren't near I feel their pull. Heck, I feel like hoarding a bunch of these for no good reason. The thing I love most about them is that they don't bleed as much as other pens I've used, and I can erase pencil marks over the pen lines within just a couple of minutes.

I love the different tips of these pens and their versatility. So far none of them has leaked on me. I have a heavy hand when writing, so I have to make sure I write with them lightly, especially the thinner tips, or they might break. Otherwise, really great pens!

I bought this set of black pigma micron graphic pens with one brush pen that uses archival ink, at the suggestion of a fellow adult coloring book enthusiast for use in drawing such as Zendoodle or Zentangle. The ink flows smoothly, doesn’t bleed or feather, and after it dries you can color over it using any kind of colored pencil or pen or marker and it won’t streak. This is the first set of these kinds of pens that I bought and I am so VERY happy with them! I was glad I bought a set with varying tip widths, 005, 01, 02, 03, 05, 08, 1 mm and one brush tip. They are very useful for drawing patterns in which you want a wider outline and then thinner lines for designs inside the outlines, or thicker or thinner lines for lettering. I was trying to use ultra-fine tip markers or gel pens before I found these, and I am SO grateful to my friend for suggesting these! They work SO much better and I just LOVE them!

These are my absolute favorite pens for bullet journaling. They write smoothly and are super pigmented. My only issue is how easy it is for the pen nibs to get ruined. The first time I used the size 1 pen I accidentally jerked my hand into the corner of my notebook and split the nib in half, making it unusable. (I will concede that that was my fault, but it was still disappointing.) However a bigger issue I have is the nibs disappearing into the end of the pen from use. I don’t know if it’s a quality issue or if I just press too hard when I write, but on some of my pens with thinner nibs they’ve been pushed so far in from journaling that they’re unusable. Despite these problems I stand by how well the pens write and would recommend them to others.
