Two year old loves it

My two year old was *desperate* (you know, toddler desperation) for a tunnel for his trains. He can play independently with his trains for so long, I find it worth it to find the greatest tunnel I could to significantly add to his train play. He LOVES this garage. He leaves it open on both sides much of the time to use it as a simple tunnel but also enjoys closing the sides and using it as a garage. He occasionally seems frustrated that he can't close both sides at the same time, but it's more important that he's able to have both sides open at the same time and you just can't have it all :)

We bought the Melissa and Doug deluxe set for Christmas but I quickly realized my son needed a tunnel. He is completely obsessed with this thing! He loves pushing his trains in and out of the tunnel and gets great sensory visual input watching his Brio steam train go in and out. We've got this setup directly next to his Brio lifting bridge and he plays with these 2 pieces more than any other area on his large, complex track. I plan on eventually replacing all of our Melissa and Doug track pieces with Brio... They're that much higher quality and a lot more fun!

Almost perfect!

Works great! Very good build quality and holds up well to young hands that like to play aggressively. My only complaint is that Chuggington trains don't fit inside; they're too big. Thomas trains are fine.

Toddler loves.

Three year old is in love with this garage: his train is sleeping in it right now. The knob on ours turns pretty easily, my toddler has no problem with it. I was under an impression that when the door is closed, both doors are closed. That's not the case: it's one or the other. Or the door is on top and it becomes a tunnel. Very good quality as always although it seems that brio is sometimes inconsistent with their quality especially with battery powered engines. So i try to buy brio from amazon so i can easily return or exchange it if defective. I'd hate to be stuck with such expensive toys if they don't work properly.

I got this for my two year old who is ...

I got this for my two year old who is obsessed with cars, trains and anything with wheels. His latest interest is parking all these wheeled conveyances in a garage, so this was a big hit. He uses this not only with his Brio train set, but also for his Little People cars and trucks, and enjoys making the door move up and down.

I expect nothing less then a superior product from Brio. This Brio product is as expected. Like all Brio products I have purchased it is top notch! Brio make outstanding high quality products! This is awesome! My boy loves it and I can't help but love it as well

Excellent Quality!

We love brio, everything is great quality and has held up really well to hours of playing. My two year old can play with this for hours, with or without trains, he loves to open and shut the doors. We only buy brio!

Great Train Garage for IKEA Wooden Train Set

Great addition to my son's IKEA train set. The door opens and closes by turning the red knob. You can house a train in there or you can use it as a tunnel for trains to go through. It was a beautifully colored and sturdy product. Loved my purchase.

Tunnel and Garage all in One -

This is a great Brio train addition. We just got the train set and my 2 year old loves the garage. He likes to park the cars in the garage but he also uses it like a tunnel. He also like to open and close the doors. It is great that the doors open and close on both sides. Great quality so I see this lasting for a long time.
